  1. Transformers is 60,000 sq ft.

Soundstage 44 is roughly 30,000 sq ft if you include the surrounding sidewalk area where the Delorean and BTTF train are normally displayed. Plus, remember that Transformers at Hollywood is a two-story show building (So it's 30,000 sq ft. per floor roughly) So it could technically be shoe-horned into the space.

(I think my numbers are correct, not 100% though.)

i told u guys thats where transformers is going and every one said no ur wrong its not enough space... i know what im talkin bout, thats where its going.

  2. have you guys ever thought that maybe they have to demolish some of the building to make the essence of the house better? think about it, if they were to destroy it, they will at least use it for hhn, demolish it make it look like what its supposed to look like and tear it down afterward if they are.,,

  3. No , not sept or oct hours are posted as the rest of the months. Don't know why they do this , but I remember

alot of complaints last year about this, with people planning flights and such.

can someone please explain this? i already have my vacation planned and everything is there something i need to worry about?

  4. The later you visit the event the more crowds there will be so I believe your okay if your willing to plan out the houses and shows in the correct manor you can do it, I always visit every weekend last year and it's never a problem to do all the houses and shows all i suggest is make a plan and arrive very early. (i recommend the "Stay and Scream Option" on your ticket or if you already have an AP for the Daytime Universal Park as it will knock one house out of the list before the crowds come in and it's cheaper than express)

Btw keep these questions in the tickets & dates topic

well every year i buy the rush of fear pass due to the fact im gonna be goin friday and saturday possibly sunday, plus its my own tradition to go to finnegans at like 4 and stay there during the lockdown that way i can just go to the haunted houses around twister

  5. OK, I'm taking early credit right now for getting the Dr Pepper Clue/ American Werewolf in London correct.....LOL

So here is my current best guess list on houses.

    Walking Dead

    American Werewolf in London

    Hunchback of Notre Dame

    Phantom of the Opera

    The Shining

    Possibly an Alice Cooper House

Not sure how Penn and Teller fit in but if they are the last house.....dual run could be cool. Penns version vs Tellers version

I feel pretty good about half of this list so far.

if thats the lineup this year i will be one depressed kid... that doesnt sound appealing to me whatsoever besides the walking dead

  6. I'm hearing it's a partial teardown too. I'd rather they just knocked everything down, including Monster's Cafe. Love the theming of the restaurant, just not the restaurant. And i'm sure they can relocate the standalone Monster's drink stand to somewhere around Beetlejuice.

what do you mean a partial teardown? and im not familiar with SS 44, can someone please show me a map or something or picture of where its located and what it looks like?

  7. Food for thought.

Height balloons were seen and a demolition permit were filed this afternoon for Soundstage 44 today. Not only that but the Delorean was taken backstage and the BTTF 3 Train was hoisted out of position by crane and taken backstage also. Does this mean that the rumors of it not being used for a Haunt are true? Or will Soundstage 44 house a house as it's last hurrah before being torn down for a new ride?

Apparently all the electrical got ripped out of Soundstage 44 today, also.

well here, i am useful for this comment then, as you know, singapore and hollywood have gotten the transformers ride already, they have been in talk about bringing it to orlando for sure, i know for a fact the next ride they are putting in is going to be transformers no if ands or buts

  8. Does anyone know if a permit would need to be filed if they put a house in an existing attraction? It's a stretch, but I'm wondering if they could do a house in poseidon's fury again. Since they seem to be short on space at studios, it would be a good way to squeeze in another house (and possibly scarezone, a la field of screams?)

already been stated its strictly only universal studios

  9. The Path through Amity is not really large enough for a scare zone let alone a house. They have replaced the temp walls with nice & solid, paneling and walls. They've also added light fixtures. There is not enough room for safety reasons and its proximity to B&T makes it logical to keep it a simple pass through. The'll probably add some mood lighting and music... maybe a little fog.

I always appreciate mood lighting music and fog, they should have more of this, kinda relaxing

  10. This is the second time I hear this rumor in the past two days. I don't think it has any validity until permits for other sites pop up.

when reading that they say herc and zena wont be used, and throw a house in ss 23, which isnt it already being used? wouldnt that subtract one but put it back? where do they get 8 houses? unless im compltetely wrong and retarded and couldnt read those permits, and is dr jimmy giving us legit clues to the haunted houses?

  11. Hearing the Stars and Stipes Pickup truck is gone... probably had nothing to do with HHN (most likely a worker's truck). It's a shame because that could have had some awesome possibilites.

Someone did spot rocks and barbed wire by the soundsatges but that is so vague you could just say "building materials".

what kinda rocks? and barbed wire could be used for a house right?

  12. and all the hype and the idiots who belive the world will end this year is the excitement of the apocalypse... I know everything about the leap yrs and everything, it wont happen, but with all the earthquakes, tornadoes, chaos at schools with shooting and all, it makes u think the world may end... and personally i cant think of a better year to utalize that fear... considering its "supposed" to happen december 21st this yr, that will build p the fear and the excitement, i hope they do it cuz that would be cool in my eyes and alot of other people
