  1. well

Scary Tales III had an external

    Ripped had an internal

Hallow'd past didn't really have one.

Forsaken had the water effect outside (otherwise really just jumped right in)

    HOH no facade.

    TWD had one outside

    Roanoke has an internal

So in the history of the parade building:

    2 internal (including this year)

    2 external

    3 didn't have one.

My mistake. I didn't think that over before I wrote it. How could I forget scary tales...

  2. Houses:

    1)Halloween- Awesome movie(s) and it's a classic

2)Dracula Untold- I want to see everyone's face who is doubting this house when the event opens

3)AvP- loved the movie and it's a badass idea for a house

4)Roanoke- I love history and any house with ties to history

    5)Giggles- it's been a while since we've seen a clown house

6)Dollhouse- reminds me of Cindy and dolls are creepy

7)FDTD- meh, movie was good and show was okay

8)TWD- yea, it's cool that it's going to be big but I'm kinda getting sick of the whole zombies thing

    Zones:

1)Purge- I'm a fan of the movies and... Chainsaws. How could you go wrong?

2)Bayou- can't wait to see the shack and we haven't seen Voodoo in a very long time

3)Face Off- I enjoy the show and the unique characters

4)Maskerade- cool idea but it seems like the smallest zone

  3. Get to the park as early as possible. If you know someone who is attending the annual pass holder event that night, you can do three houses before the entire event opens so that gives you a head start. What I would do is get there early, do all the houses once without the express passes, then do bill and teds, then go back and do all the houses again with the express pass. That's what I do.

  4. I would rather not see too many animatronics. Depending on size and function, they can be really expensive. If they are spending money on too many animatronics, then they will cut off funding for other things. Personally, I don't really like animatronics as much as live actors, but I do understand that some things just can't be done with actors.

  5. I completely agree with you hunnylvr. I went 8-10 nights last year and part of it was because of LT. I really enjoyed racking up points and badges and I picked up a lot of LT merch as well. Not to mention, the last night of the event was totally awesome with the final LT task and closing remarks from T.J and Thornecastle. There were hundreds of people participating that night and it really made it seem more like a community. Personally, I think that LT increased profits last year for sure. Not an enormous amount, but think of all the frequent fear passes, merchandise, and concessions were sold during the course of the event. With some changes, LT could be marketed so that more people are aware of it and interested in checking it out. Nowhere did I see LT advertised on billboards or any other signage last year. What if it was advertised more? I think a lot more people would be interested and therefore, the business aspect of the event would see even more profits. Just my thoughts.
