None of the ghosts are really inherently scary. Moira has her eye shot out, but that's not really enough on its own. There's Tate but obviously the Rubberman covers that. Can't imagine they'll do anything else with Tate given the sensitivity of the material there.
They'll probably include Pigman since he was in the trailer (even though he wasnt real). Maybe Elizabeth Short and the nurses as well?

I imagine they choose the first season just because its the first of the series, and Hotel/ Freakshow because theyre the most watched seasons

^I'd agree in that i can't see what they could do differently with the Purge even with the 3rd oil coming out soon. Then again, the three years of TWD all felt the same to me so idk. I'd really like to see Krampus take over. His "gifts" could be whichever other properties that we have this year like they used to do before 2010.

The flashing imagery is probably not the only element that will be utilized. They'll probably do something similar to what Orlando described as well.

Murray answered a few questions regarding the maze. Seems as though this may be similar to Evil Dead in that its FX heavy as murdy has described it in one of the tweets. I don't necessarily have a problem with that, but there were a few members here who weren't really fond of the effects used in that house.
Also he addressed the one room thing

The X-files wouldn't really be challenging at all tbh. The old seasons and the mini series don't really have anything that would be difficult for them to do.

Krampus is sounding like a pretty solid guess rn. While the environments in the movie could work a lot of them would have to be repeated and non of them are really interesting considering most of them would be rooms in a house. It would make sense for them to take the original route. The monologue outside the house is also very remenicent of both the La Llorona houses.

I wouldn't go as far as the projection thing, but what he's describing does sound like krampus
