  1. ^I didn't want to win an argument, I didn't even want there to be an argument, lol. I was just defending Hollywood. Hollywood and Orlando are different animals completely. Each is amazing for what they are. Orlando has always been what Hollywood should look to to be inspired by. I just don't like when people belittle Hollywood's event because Orlando is held on such a high pedestal. I get it, but Orlando's been doing it for 22 years, Hollywood, in its current state, has only been for 7 years. Even though Hollywood started HHN in the 80's for a one time thing. So the whole "Orlando turning into Hollywood" BS has me on the defensive, lol. I would love for Hollywood to be more like Orlando, but Orlando having a little bit of our event in them, isn't a bad thing. So sorry for this whole thing, just defending our event, sure you would do the same. Let's get back to speculation.
  2. I'm not coming on the Orlando side to argue, I am speculating like everyone else. I've posted throughout this topic and others speculating this event. But I get it, you don't want me to prove your post FALSE and I get that, I'm stopping this "argument" right now. On to speculation. It seems, for now, that the IP sharing is done for this year. Only AC, SH and WD will be at both events, which is a good thing it is contained to just those, I suppose, the rumors from Hollywood have suggested our last few mazes will not be, at any way, related to the Orlando mazes, unless for some reason we both get Poltergeist out of a weird twist of events. So this should please those who are worried about IP sharing.
  3. ^Could be like The Thing: Assimilation where the basic story remained, but the settings and characters and so forth change.
  4. Whoa.... Don't get your hate for Hollywood. I like both events and follow both equally even though I have never been to Orlando. So, and keep an open mind this time, your argument states the Terror Tram is not a maze? It is a haunted attraction. Just to let you know, Haunted attraction = Maze, sometimes people use the term interchangeably. So this year, we have 7 Haunted Attractions, you have 7 haunted attractions. Don't see how you can interpret that any other way. I was pointing out you said Orlando will ALWAYS have more haunted attractions than Hollywood, I was pointing out that this is FALSE, this year we will be equal in attraction numbers. You can't say this is a wild card year and it's because of construction because you stated ALWAYS, if anything, maybe next time don't say ALWAYS, and say something like "Orlando will have more mazes than Hollywood, unless there is a problem forcing Orlando to have equal to or less than Hollywood for some reason." I know that sounds like a "lawyer" answer, BUT it would help to avoid situations like this in the future.
  5. Okay... Orlando 2012- 6 or 7 houses (unconfirmed) Hollywood 2012- 6 mazes + Terror Tram Doesn't look like you will ALWAYS have more houses than us. If you count Terror Tram as a maze, which most people do, we have 7 mazes/attractions. You will get 6/7 houses. So your statement is invalid. On topic, I don't get the hate for IP's, I never have, never will. I like, some IP to provide some kind of variety in the event, and originals to contrast the IP's. Too much of one or the other is no good in my book.
  6. As far as I can tell, Orlando will not be 3D, Hollywood will be. But you never know. WTMN last year was designed as our 3D house last year but management decided to keep House of 1000 Corpses as our 3D maze. So the designs and the theme can work in 3D. But I don't think it will be 3D.
  7. ^^That's the description of the Hollywood maze. Maybe there is a mix up. Go on the Orlando website to look up the description of your maze. Go on the Hollywood site after and you will see, Hollywood is based on the 7 Deadly Sins, and Orlando is based on Steven's Nightmare from Welcome to My Nightmare. The email must be wrong then.
  8. No, Orlando is getting Welcome to My Nightmare, which will be similar to the maze we here in Hollywood had last year. Hollywood is getting Alice Cooper Goes to Hell 3D, which is based off the 7 deadly sins. Hope that clears things up for you .
  9. That would be odd having WTMN and ACGTH. I think it will most likely be both parks getting the same theme, but you never know.
  10. I get that. But no doubt there will be some similar scenes in both houses. Let's put this discussion to rest. I don't really feel like disputing both events locations.
  11. Wasn't belittling the Sprung Tent. We have them in Hollywood too, I actually like the feel of the tent. But what I meant was 3D, I assumed meant Sprung Tent. The assumed AC house here in Hollywood looks too big to fit in a tent, but the guys at A&D are probably creative enough to make it epic in the tent.
  12. Yeah, confirmed for both parks. That's probably what will be announced this week. Does anybody have an idea where it will be located? If it's 3D I would guess a sprung tent, but what is speculated to be the maze in Hollywood is pretty big and probably too much for a sprung tent. Sound Stage maybe?
  13. Journey into legendary rocker Alice Cooper’s twisted mind and witness the natural melding of horror and Cooper’s four decades-long career. Here you will follow Steven, the iconic character from many of Cooper’s works, as you come face to face with a myriad of tormentors who threaten an already-decaying sense of sanity.
  14. ^I don't think it was legal. John Murdy, from Hollywood, said that a video he made isn't ready for us to see yet. No doubt it was for a joint Alice Cooper announcement.
  15. I think they would, considering they put their tease up hours after the incident became public. I doubt any kind of Haunted House would be disrespectful to anyone related to the shooting. The post said the announcement will come before the week ends. Technically the week ends tomorrow, is that when the announcement will be?
  16. ^I believe part of Nazarman's houses were outside, at least Vampyr: Blood Bath I think. The houses at Triceratops Discovery Trail were outside for a good portion as well.
  17. Does anybody have any good pictures of all the facades for this year?
