  1. You should have made an "All the above" option. Because all the above are my pet peeves about HHN.
  2. First as Raymond Holmes said this IS NOT A CLUE. Wasn't this first seen in the carriage in the Body Collector SZ for part of LT at HHN 18. Second of all, IT WAS NOT T.J that said anything about "Arts and Crafts". It was Karen Rigsby, she is the head of decorating the houses.
  3. I think this is Brian in the video. He don't play the Usher either.
  4. And if you do get express passes DO NOT use them until the lines get past 30 mins. long. Stay and Scream is your best bet to get most of the houses done without using your express pass until it gets dark. Best way to go through a house is when it is dark outside.
  5. Now we just have to beg for the last Friday and last Saturday. Personally, they would have to raise it up quite alot for me NOT to go.
  6. 2002: Probably $60 for two 2009: Probably over $800 for two (just in alcohol) In between that: Priceless
  7. Wow, they are right. I think it looks like a tree.
  8. I have to kinda agree with you on this one. We do go see B&T at least twice (first and last show) and maybe RHPS if we get dragged there by one of our friends. I really can't compare RHPS with Jack's Carnival of Carnage, The Arrival Show or any of those shows that they have had throughout the years. It is totally different in my eyes. The RHPS is the same thing, every year. Just with different actors, where as the Arrival Shows was different every year. Roddy and others always did a great job with Opening Scaremonies, these are the shows I would like to see.
  9. We are happy that you find this forum peaceful. Welcome and enjoy!

  10. Ok, so for the first time in the 8 years of going to Halloween Horror Nights I am going to attempt to do a trip report. I would first like to thank all the people that made this year errr... CLASSIC. First I would like to thank Mark, Brooke, Michele and Jason for 15 nights of memories that I will never forget, great times. For the people that we bumped into during the run Laz, Drew, Kevin, Jeremiah, Sylvia, Amble, Lauren, Derek, and Jordan, thanks for the good times. As for the event, I was not so impressed. It defiantly lacked something this year, I can't put my finger on what it lacked, it just lacked. I was not very excited for the "Classic theme" and did not have high expectations for this year anyways. As I have said for a month now, next year better "rock my socks off". This is my house count for this year: Silver Screams: 13 Saw: 16 The Wolfman: 20 Chucky, Friends till the End: 5 Frankenstien Creation of the Damned: 18 Dracula Legacy in Blood: 17 The Spawning: 7 Leave it to Cleaver: 15 My house reviews are going to go in the order of my favorite to least favorite house. Also will add what I personal think what cast was best. SAW: I did not think this was going to be my favorite house when the event started, but it really surprised me. The scene's were great, and they added great detail to the house. I loved the audio that played throughout the whole house, and just added too the experience. I heard quite a few people complaining about not seeing every scene, but I guess if you are lucky enough to go 15 nights you did see everything. The only negative thing about this house was that if you got stuck going through a cast change you did not see crap. I am sure that happens throughout all the houses but this one was more noticeable then others. Cast A The Wolfman: I really don't know why I loved this house, if it was the cast or the fine detail of this house. But loved it. This was the first house that we went through and the last house. The audio throughout the house was good, also the "Wolf" howl audio was scary in the woods. "Wait for it!" and the dancing"Wolfman" the night before last. CLASSIC! It should have been a little longer, but they did a good job. Cast A Leave It To Cleaver: All I heard about this house was "it is not scary" well hello, it was not made to be scary. It had a Pychoscarapy, feel to it. The video in front of the house was funny as hell, "Mmmmm Sausages". Wonder if Max ever got his sausages? From originally being from up north, the whole Abdow's Big Boy look was funny to me. The boy with the pig hanging up, made this house every time. Cast A Frankenstein, Creation of the Damned: I really didn't get this house, maybe because I never watched or read anything about Frankenstein. The detail in the house was good, the stitches in the walls was the best. The ripping out the heart scene was great, when you saw it. The pods from "The Fly" was cool too. Cast A Dracula Legacy in Blood: From here on out the order gets hard, it was this house or Silver Screams. The only reason I picked this house next was because it was in a soundstage. It was seriously dark in there, during the day and at night. You could not really see crap. I didn't see one "Dracula" until like the 6th time through this house. I thought at first it was just filled with ugly vampires. Not very impressed at all. Cast B Silver Screams: This house had potential, yet just lacked something. They tried to squezze to many movies one one house. They should have tried like 2 rooms for each house. Why have "The Thing" in there? The guy just stood there with his gun/fire thing and rocked back and forth. The only good thing about this house was the second to last night, the front "Usher" asked these people for "their tickets" and the guys' like "we got express passes". CLASSIC Cast B The Spawning: I am not really sure what to say about this house. That it sucked is too harsh of a word and O.K. is just too nice. I think it needed more of a backstory and just didn't do it for me. I have to say though as the event went on through the month, the casts got better in here with there scares. But other then that, ya not so much. Next. Cast B Chucky, Friends till the End: I have to say that this was the worst house. I don't know if it was because I have never really ever seen any "Chucky" movies. Though I was told that the house was not based on any "Chucky" movies. All the dialogue was pre-recored and seemed like a funhouse that you would go through at a fair. As a dear friend wrote somewhere it reminded me of " Its a Small World After All" Ever time I would go through there, I would almost get whacked in the head with their "heads on a stick". WTF? Sucked? Yes. Cast N/A ( I don't think it mattered what cast you got, it sucked all the time. ) So next will be my opinion on the Scarezones. This might start a lot of crap, but the picture taking in the scarezones this year, was kinda ridiculous. I like to taking a lot of action and/or personal shots and found this very difficult to do this year. As every two seconds it was "Can I get a picture with you?" Again my favorite to least favorite. War of the Dead: Best scarezone this year. The interaction between the actors and guests in here were priceless. They sticked to there character, and did an outstanding job. Nice sets and props. Horrorwood Drive-In: Really liked the whole feel of this scarezone. The cars, the theater screen, and the concession stand just added to this zone. I really didn't know who some one the characters where, but that did not stop me from enjoying it. Lights, Camera, Hacktion: Can you say chainsaws? Any scarezone with chainsaws is the best. Greats job again, on the sets and props. Great for scares. Cirque du Freak: It was always super crowed in this area, so I really found it hard to enjoy this scarezone. Didn't see the movie and really don't plan on seeing it either. Can you say "Marketing". Apocalypse: All I gotta say about this scarezone is that they seemed to try really hard to get scares in here, too hard. I noticed they only went after the ladies, and men with pecks, half naked are not scary. FAIL. Containment: Yea, this was the worst. People running around with really bad acne? BAD. The only good part of it was the guys on the truck making fun of people. SUPER FAIL. The shows: Rocky Horror Picture Show: If you have seen it once, you have seen it before. Either add to it or get rid of it, something new please. (Sorry Michele) Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure: Thought it was funny the first time I saw it. After that it gets kinda old. Really didn't get some of the jokes as I didn't really see half those movies. Can't make everybody happy I guess. That is the end of my review. Please be kind, as it is my opinion.
  11. There was a "Fox" and a "Monkey" ( who was badass, BTW) they are from "The Skool" "Cindy" is the "Caretaker's" daughter. The "Caretaker" A "Hush" character from Body Collectors 1 and 2. The "Pumkin Head" was used from "Harvest of the Souls" and "Field of Screams" Also "Jack" was there. Please feel free to add the rest of the "Scareactors" that were out there. I really don't remember who or where they were from. Also let the Speculating begin.
  12. Not when you are Michele and had a few too many, she is horrible with time.
  13. If you have seen Rocky before you are not missing much. Same songs, different cast.
  14. I personally think that the scares all over are lacking. Hopefully they will get in the groove more this weekend.
  15. Woo hoo!!! Super excited about this!! Thanks for the update!!
  16. I have a feeling they are going to use Billy Mays, and maybe a little spoof about the swine flu.
  17. This is most certainly true. From an anonymous source, The Strangers will be a scarezone. I agree with Matt, as it would have been better executed as a house, but we will have to see how they pull it off. On with the "speculation".
  18. Ok I am all for Jack, kinda, but unfortunately the more they use Jack the less people will like him. Jack should only come out when HHN turns 21, or for the 25th anniversary. Just my opinion.
  19. Now that is some cool sh*t right there. As far as the picture of the steeple thing, could be Dracula, could be a doghouse?
  20. I totally agree about the theming at IOA . They did a great job but, I don't think and would never like to see them ever use both parks again. They would not be able to handle the crowds at IOA.
  21. I don't really get scared, so I go there to have fun, spend time with my friends that I have not seen since last year's HHN, and drink.
  22. Wow, thank god for the alcohol there, because of the looks of this list, I am going to need it to have fun this year.
  23. Useless and pointless, BRING THE TOUR BACK!!!!!!!!
