  1. Yay, I get to join the exclusive group of people that didn't get cast. Fantastic!
  2. Nervous about tomorrow [today]. Hope audition goes well for me. :/

  3. You could, actually, but it's kind of a long trip (not horribly long, but a good 20 minute walk or so depending on how fast you are). I did it last year. Go downstairs between City Walk and the bag check (the central "hub" between the garages and the final people-mover) and go to the right if you were facing City walk (the parking garages would be on your right, with the canal where the boats travel on your left). Just stay on that block and take all the left turns at the corners and eventually you'll get to it. A visual: http://bit.ly/rlWXWl Your choice... seems like it's horribly long, but it's not and was quite relaxing with all the scenery.
  4. In that case, should I make an appointment for next week just in case?
  5. Thanks for all the tips and info guys. I'm really nervous about tomorrow (though not as much as last year since this is my 2nd time auditioning) so I hope it goes well. I really, really hope I get something.
  6. Well since I really want to be part of it more than I want to attend, I'll make myself for full availability and ask later (can't hurt to do so) and just play it by ear then. If I can't, well, can't complain if I'm cast. Man I hope I get in.
  7. I'm pretty sure I saw this noted before, but I can't find mention of it now... I'm definitely going to say I'm available for all days of the event, which is true, however I'd also like (don't have to, but it's preferable) to take a couple of days off to attend the event itself as well as Howl-o-Scream with some friends of mine (probably like 2 days in a row, otherwise I'd work the rest of the even with no problem). My question would be whether I'd have to put those two days off on the audition papers, or if I get accepted, speak to someone about doing so after. Would this be problematic, even after being cast?
  8. Unless I'm mistaken, I think this is it. Should show you exactly where it is in relation to the parks. Personally since I'm likely to be going to the parks anyway, might just park in the garages and then just walk around the [large] block to HR, similar to what I did last year.
  9. I did that last year, so at least I know what it's like. I was already mentally preparing myself for it, but then they changed it to audition times and now I'm not entirely sure what to do with my time. I'm glad the theme parks are next door. I'll probably just stay there all day until my audition time, which is better than last year where I sat in front of Human Resources and stared at IoA wishing i could be there instead of waiting.
  10. How crowded was it this year compared to last year's auditions for previous actors? Last year I had heard the internal auditions really filled up positions before it got to the first public audition, though I heard it was due to it being the 20th anniversary for it. Did this year seem as crowded? Nice to know the auditions are pretty much the same except for managing people coming in better. I guess it made the entire process much smoother then?
  11. Any news of how the auditions are done this year/results from those who hopefully got in?
  12. Well then here's hoping for a chance still, even if it's not a main part.
  13. That is true, though I'm pretty sure I fit the average "average" body type so it may not be that lucky.
  14. I'd hope it was set up that way, but we just have to wait. Last year I was a few hours late to the first week of auditions and didn't get it, and was hoping this year I could try to avoid that, but then I found they switched to audition times this year, and in the end I still ended up a few hours late. Very annoyed/frustrated by that, but can't change it now... This year though I also set up an audition time for Howl-o-Scream in case I don't get an HHN position, something I didn't do last year.
  15. Finally joined up. Stalked since last year around, but finally taking the plunge now! So hi folks! So yesterday I was checking online all day to check to see when they'd send out the email, but after about 6pm I gave up thinking they weren't going to update and my phone was about to die. So what happened? I get the email at 6:30pm, but I had already given up and was attending the Florence + The Machines concert at Universal Studios so my attention was shifted elsewhere. Imagine my frustration when getting back to the hotel. I ended up with a 7:05pm slot. My worry is that, seeing people with times as early as 4/4:30pm, that I'm a few hours behind and that cuts my chances quite a bit (chances already lessened by the reunion auditions as it is). I'm kind of wondering how crowded the appointments are, and if anyone knows by how much? Is there any sort of estimate (even if it's a rough guess) of how many people have a certain time, perhaps by judging how many times they've seen posted around? When I was scheduling my appointment, it looked like the times were 7:05, 7:10, 7:15; does that mean that they've been like that since 4:30 (as in, 4:35, 4:40, 4:45)? I'm just worried that if that is the case, my 7:05pm looks like a bad time to have.
