I agree with most of you above. BEST CAST EVER. I got some of the best scares er... EVER.
-
You literally threw up?! That's insane.
And there's no way you didn't smell it! It was UBER strong and I have a horrible nose.
However, I'm impressed with how contained that smell was to just that area. The smell didn't bleed before or after the scene, which is really good. Keeps you in the moment. (but that might just be me and my bad nose haha)
Ever heard of the PsychoScareapy: Maximum Madness smell legend? I feel a chill in my spine just think about it! =P Either way, this is the house HHNH should be bringing back next year.

Oh my God. I think I'm in love with you no homo. Actually some homo. I also like how you took the time to make your own logos for everything! =D

I'd like to revisit a house from the past DURING the apocalypse if there is an apocalypse theme.

Damn! You stole my Paranormal Activity idea!

Quick question. Can you use movie houses? The rules say they have to be your ideas, but movie houses are an essential part of HHNH...
-
Your soul is now ours
My soul? As if I have one! (I gave it to the devil when I kicked a puppy)
-
I would like to join... (What am I getting myself into???)

Shrek Venue. When I went this year (it was my first) it felt a little bit more claustrophobic than the other venues. Plus, as Freak said above, they have a chance to tell a story before you even go in the maze.
-
What scene are you speaking of for La Llorona?
Specifically
the bridge scene
If I had to choose a runner up, it would be either be the part with La Llorona eating that... thing... and the eerie opening scene of the Thing.
-
Single Best Show Scene-La Llorona
Best Scares-The Thing: Assimilation
Best Facade-La Llorona AND Alice Cooper
Most Energetic Cast-Hostel

This house was my 3rd fav of the night. I'm sorry, but when I went through, I knew nothing of Alice Cooper, and still don't. The music was playing extremely low too. Other than that, this house was extremely scary for me. There were a lot of unexpected scares.
-
Best house of the event. (I lost my lunch because of the carneceria smell!)
-
What is Mindfreak?
-
You've made me angry that I decided to go to HHNH this year. !@#$!
-
Everyone can pay to get strapped to it and have their picture taken as lady luck spins them...
That would be kind of... eh never mind. Plus, when Jimmy said some of the zone will be indoors, I think we might have a hidden icon house at Nazarman's!
-
I did, and I really didn't enjoy it all that much. I went through it a few times and for me it wasn't all that scary to me (the sets were awesome though). The problem I find with the b-movie themed houses is that they aren't as scary. Leave it to Cleaver, really, I didn't get 1 scare, nor jump, or anything. Zombiegeddon did it right though. Cheesy idea with some great scares and moments. I'm not judging the house I'm just going off of passed experiences. Although I can't say I'm excited for this house, I can say I am expecting a great experience like I had in Zombiegeddon.
I disagree with you. ZombieGeddon's "balance" was just too straight forward. I mean, the first half of the house was all funny, no scares. The last half, I didn't get ANY laughs. Just scares. Cleaver balanced this genre of house perfectly, using the laughs mostly as distractions, so the scares would become more unexpected. Same goes for Creatures and Home For the Holidays.
-
The one house that delivered this perfect scare was Catacombs. One scare, that I never saw coming. This made it the only house I've ever been to that has made me cover my eyes the whole way through. Thank you Universal. I love you for making me !@#$ myself like that.
-
CLEAVER. 'Nuff said. (I've only been attending since 2006. Someone told me ALL if the 2005 houses had queue videos. What was the one for The Skool?)
-
Hhnrumors public reveal post confirms that there WILL be acid rain. However, I'm scared that it'll just be warm water... (This worry is scarier than the scarezone itself)
-
The Final Destination-Brian Tyler
Hello Zepp-Charlie Closer
When the Levee Breaks-Led Zepplin
The One- Elena Siegman and Kevin Sherwood
Dead Girl Superstar- Rob Zombie
My Body Is a Cage- Arcade Fire
The Creep (wtf?)-The Lonely Island
Undead- Hollywood Undead
Blood Opera-Cliff Lin
As a bonus, Nyan Cat in case it goes too far.
-
Could you make me a "The Thing: Assimilation" themed sig? If possible, using the 2007 entrance banner? Thanks a lot! (With my name too please!)
-
I agree, we should wait for the full promo before we make any final decisions.
I believe that Lady Luck has been around for a long time. If you look at the Queen card from the intro to the site, she bares the same hairstyle. Perhaps she changes appearances every so often with what society considers lucky. Once the queen card was a sign of luck, and now she's moved on to the form of a las vegas beauty that moguls like to keep near them for good luck.
Perhaps even dear old Edgar Allen Poe was a victim of lady luck. He's notorious for having bad luck in life, and even wrote about one of the greatest signs of bad luck. This is all starting to come together storywise, which is why I find it hard to believe people believe there is no backstory.
Holy crap! I didn't see that!

06 is by far the best event ever! I liked every house and scare zone, which never happens.
But, Dungeon of Terror was pretty bad.
