  1. Not on your list, but I know I heard The Bangles "Walk Like an Egyptian" in the RUN queue.
  2. There are some mistitles in the list of the Dirty Scarab songs in Steampunk. The song listed as "No Time Life" is actually titled, "No Time Left", and the one listed as "Attack of the Droids" is actually "Attack of the Drones".
  3. This music was also featured at the event of HHN 25. But only for a select few and only on the last three nights.
  4. You also seem to have omitted this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTWKbfoikeg
  5. You seem to have made a major omission in the B&T dance off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcIy9NiNbmo
  6. One of the best scares witnessed this year was when a group of teenagers got so scared of the clowns they ran into the Kwok-I-Mart directly into the displays sending plastic souvenir cups all over the place. (I helped pick them up) The clowns stayed outside the doors revving their saws and the kids were to terrified to leave the shop!

    Insidious

Last night on my 13th visit to this house, I saw for the very first time what can only be described as, well, um, pubic hair on the Lipstick Demon! This adds a whole new level of creepy to the house!!! It has apparently always been there, I just never really looked at the demon's crotch before.
  8. Chant "bear bear bear bear bear!" and the Bear will do a dance for you! I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet, but the Bear is developing a HUGE following due to a terrific fake Twitter account @hhnbear. If it is fake? IDK if it isn't actually done by one or both of the scare actors who play the Bear.
  9. Fez guy is The Mummy, Imhotep from the original 1932 Universal film. He only had bandages at the beginning of the film and appeared as "Ardath Bey" for most of the film.
  10. In the 19th century dwarves were often institutionalized. It was just assumed that they were mentally underdeveloped as they were physically. This was just one example of the gross injustices and mistreatment that typified mental health institutions of that time. As stated above I believe that his presence alive and happy at the end of the house serves to reiterate the Body Collectors use of normal sized victims body parts to construct bodies that are attached to the Collector heads. The dwarf is not collected because his body is too small. Little people and children are safe from the Collectors.
  11. Um, in spite of some obvious similarities in costume choices, this is NOT officially a "Disney parody zone" but a classic fairy tales and nursery rhymes gone all twisted zone with a Steampunk flavor. So it would make no sense whatsoever to have Jane from Disney's Tarzan in here. First Tarzan is not a fairy tale, and second that would be simply a full blown invitation to a lawsuit. Belle is a public domain character from a french fairy tale "La Belle et La Bete" The only similarity with the Disney version is dress and hair color. Frankly I never even thought of Jane, the moment I saw her it was "OMG Belle as a big game hunter, that's so wrong it's right"
  12. I cannot imagine any actor in that location. he/she would have to block the exit from the room.
  13. There are two actors who play Jack that I know of, one is indeed the original Jack who did appear in the commercial. The other is an actor who has often played Beetlejuice and has appeared in many B&T shows over the years. This year he can be seen in The RUN queue videos as Bobby Strickland.
  14. So last night I finally noticed the fact that in the last scene all the heads are identical. All bald with sardonic if closed mouths drawn up into a permanent grin. So they are attaching Body Collector heads to the bodies they have assembled from their victims. But where exactly do the heads themselves originate? They are all the same in size and shape and features and thus cannot be from the victims. Do the Collectors bring them along from Terra Cruentas? One mystery solved brings with it even more questions! But this could explain why the infants, Jack and Eddie were spared on that dark and wintry night, they are just too small to be harvested! Likewise the little surviving dwarf seen at the end. No wonder he always seems so happy! I'm reminded of lyrics from the late and wonderful Allan Sherman's parody song "I See Bones" I see your spine, and your spine looks divine. It's exactly like mine, Now doesn't that seem strange?
  15. I love the fact that a certain returning scareactor born without legs was allowed a chainsaw this year! He is having a blast saying things like "I want your legs!"
  16. Maleficent? I think maybe you mean The Wicked Queen?
  17. I love this zone. La Llorona in one of the casts is a true HHN Diva (same scareactress that played a Pirate Wench in Face-Off last year and Sophia the Vampire from the Strengoit Horde in 2012), Last night she had a guest reduced to a quivering puddle of terror on the ground! The two people I was with and myself gave her a standing ovation for it. Brava! Also noteworthy are Abaddon (Voodoo priest) and Miss Gluttony (another true HHN Diva) who escorted the guests to each kill on the night I stopped to watch all of them. Abaddon was gleefully giggly as befits a Loa of the Guedé. And Gluttony speaks! Not a silent Sin! Of course anybody who has seen my profile already knows She has to be my favorite Sin.
  18. As I have only been able to attend 7 of the 14 nights so far my counts will seem oddly low. Houses: Jack Presents: 25 Years of Monsters and Mayhem - 9 Asylum in Wonderland 3D - 9 RUN: Blood, Sweat and Fears - 8 Body Collectors: Recollections - 6 Insidious - 6 An American Werewolf in London - 5 Freddy vs Jason - 5 The Walking Dead: The Living and the Dead - 5 The Purge - 5 Scores for FvJ so far: Jason 2, Freddy 3 Shows: Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure - 5 The Carnage Returns - 4

    Insidious

The first two scenes, baby's bedroom and seance are the ONLY scenes in the "real" world so to speak... note the blue lantern from the seance table that then appears in every other room of the house. All the rest of the house is in The Further and as has been seen in the films there one can move between different locations and times rather seamlessly.
  20. Finally found the GAT chainsaw last night. It's hard to find as it's a bit "in the dark".
  21. Perhaps it implies that the Collectors are capable of time travel?
  22. Last night a saw a bit of queue video - the bit with "last year's champions" who sadly do not appear in the house. Would have loved to see The Lump and his Pet and Dr. Whitechapel (69 kills!) as actual scareactors. Great moment when the Enforcer got right in my face with "So, it's the Cat Lover himself! They're really gonna love you in there!"
  23. I had a lot of fun just watching the shadow plays in the windows last night. I particularly like the one where after slaughtering a couple people rather violently, the inmate in an animal costume then goes back to a flower arrangement at the window and sets it back right. I had a wonderful moment in this zone on Friday, October 2nd. An inmate told me that my "Dr. Jimmy costume" would be certain to win the contest!
  24. I saw something someone had posted about a guest-activated "button" scare in here? has anybody found anything like this?
  25. Sorry for nitpicking but Jack wasn't actually involved in the Funhouse of Fear in 2003. There were a couple of easter egg references to him, like there would be many years later in Giggles & Gore but he was not in the house.
