    Halloween

After the previous reveals were made Mike tweeted that all the original content was revealed. He then stated there was "one maze" left to reveal and that is was an IP. He has now reassured us the house was not scrapped. If the house were no longer an IP I think he might have said something else.
  2. At Halloween Horror Nights VII: Frightmares in 1997 there was a house, Tombs of Terror in the Earthquake queue that was set in Louisiana and touched a bit on Voodoo, but not much. A full blown Voodoo house was originally planned for halloween Horror Nights 15: Tales of Terror in 2005. It was to have been in a Sound Stage. Then the plans to have the house, Blood Rituals in the Dueling Dragons queue area fell through as Operations wanted that ride open during the event. So the Voodoo house was scrapped and Blood Rituals was moved into the Sound Stage.
  3. You have no arm, Tyr because you stuck it in that wolf's mouth. HHNAsgard FTW.
  4. Universal was planning a Voodoo concept for a house as early as 2005.
  5. What I'm saying is dogs got away with what cats got blamed for.... it's an unfair world.
  6. I played games with the Dogs of War cast too, though. I brought a small stuffed dachshund the "wiener dog of war" which got handed around the house... with much barking, until it was returned near the end. Timeout used to grab that pup in his mouth and shake it.
  7. Or maybe Mike is just telling us all to HUSH and wait like Gentleman for the reveals. Hey Heather! ALLAMAGOOSALUM!!! had to tease her with that because of the evuls.
  8. Dracula Untold: Reign of Blood may indeed be House of the Year. However we must remember that the HOTY award is presented to the cast of a house based on reactions from mostly the general public among other things, and not from hardcore fan anticipation of what we hope of think will be the killer house of the event. We really cannot anticipate which house wins HOTY in advance. We can only get an idea of which house is likely to do so once we have experienced the cast performances. In years past the winners have often not been the big beautiful awesome houses but those with the most motivated and high energy casts. For example in 2010 the winner of HOTY was not The Hallow'd Past a fan favorite but Dogs of War due entirely to the casts' efforts. Likewise in 2011 neither Nightingales, Hawthorn Cemetery, Bloodngutz nor Nevermore won - all amazing houses that had huge fan support. Rather it was a tie between The Forsaken and The In-Between! It is impossible to call this without actually seeing the performances themselves. We have no idea which house will have the most exciting cast yet. It could be Dracula Untold, but it could even be The Walking Dead house that has the best cast. You never know, we have to wait and see.
  9. On the other "controversial" topic my great great great grandmother was named Bird of Many Colors. She was Chickahominy of the family tribe of Powhatan. So Pocahontas is like my aunt or something. Anyway my point is I've never found mascots like the Washington Redskins or my own High School Red Raiders to offend my Native heritage in the least. I always thought it was kinda cool really. The ugly big nosed caricature they used to have for the Cleveland Indians was actually offensive though, and I hope you can see the difference. But as to this rumored house scenario? Um, the whites are the savages invading and murdering the Natives - trying to destroy their culture and religious beliefs. My own great great great grandmother was forcibly taken from her tribe as a young girl and "adopted" by a white family - given the named "Elenor Flick" and assimilated. But she never truly assimilated and kept her true self alive and passed the story down to her children. Personally I look forward to seeing the just revenge the Natives will exact upon the invading colonists.
  10. Sounds like premature eDRACulation to me. I know Universal gives advance notices to media, but they usually wait until the official time to make posts. Somebody wanted a scoop and jumped the gun and then the others started in too. I bet Universal publicity and media relations are really all pissed right now.
  11. Those might have been contestants in the costume contests they had those years. You remember that right, Jeramy? After all, you entered the thing yourself!!!
  12. One must look at it not as any sort of realistic science fiction of a possible dystopian near-future, but rather a fable an allegory of today. It is a parable about how the rich feed on and destroy the poor - presented in a quite literal sense, and also I believe (as I've not seen the second film yet) as a warning to the rich and powerful and how this can and would backfire on them. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer, but all of human history shows very clearly that this will not continue indefinitely, at some point when the rich become too rich and the poor become too poor, the poor will rise up and overthrow the rich. Thus it is always in the best interest of the rich and powerful to insure that the poor never become too poor.
  13. Two things, first Halloween has not been "officially revealed" yet. At least not by Universal itself, so it may be the upcoming reveal this week. The materials seen about it were "official" but not meant to be seen yet. Second I seriously doubt that Cassilda is the same person as Emeric Belasco or "Our Mutual Friend", and as of now doubt "she" has any real connection to The Ifrit. I do not know who this person or persons is, but am rather certain "she" is not an official Universal sanctioned source either.

I think that was Universal's Creature Features in 3D which was in 1999.

    Halloween

Halloween appeared in many of the Universal's House of Horrors/Museum of Horrors type houses that were at the Event from 1995 - 1998. Most of these houses featured dual runs with Classic Monsters in one and Modern Horrors in another. I don't recall exactly how many of these Michael was in, but at least a couple. He also appeared in the streets a few times around those years as well. The first time he appeared at the Event in Orlando however, was in the very first Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure in 1992.

The most obvious thing about these posts that proves their legitimacy was the fact that they all got taken down so fast.
