  1. I think it's possible that the Thing could return this year. I've heard rumblings that it's possible so I connected it with one of the cryptic statements.

    "19th century"

The codename for Hollywood's Thing house was "GV Black". He was a dentist from the 19th century who invented silver fillings. One of the victims in the Thing prequel had silver fillings.

Thought I would throw that out there.

I would be fine with that house returning. It was one of my personal favorites last years IMO. Im still thinking that it will be some sort of Universals 100 year theme/ media theme though.

  2. I honestly don't know what to believe about this years HHN...will there be a 7th house that we MAY not know about, when will the website be updated, will the parade keep moving during HHN nights, will there be normal scarezones, and are these house clues even true? This feels like a bunch of missions then Riddler would give someone in Arkham City, but I believe that may be the fun of it. Ether way, I have a good amount of hope for the event, no matter what.

  3. Whatever happens people just remember we're in this together. We're all fans and we all want a great event. We might not always agree on what we like or dislike but that's ok as long as we all stick together in the aim of supporting the event and doing our best to tell Universal what we like and dislike. Whether or not they listen is up to them but at least we'll have done our bit and at the end of the day that's all we can do.

Very great words of wisdom. I myself still have hope for the event no matter how big the houses and scarezones are or how good they are. As long as I have fun, that's all that matters. And that I get scared! :D

  4. Are these 7 cryptic statements that were given the official themes for the houses or is it still pure speculation? Because honestly this line up seems pretty ok, manly because the Alice Cooper House. That seems like a great way to incorporate some "horror theme" or "weird and creepy" music artist at HHN. Hopefully a sign that we may see others such as Rob Zombie and Marylin Manson. As for the Penn and Teller house, didn't they say they weren't going to perform at HHN or would it be a house with there tricks and perhaps we see them in the que line video (if there is one) .

  5. For some reason, I believe this years HHN will be based on the 100 year anniversary of universal manly because it seems very possible to pull off. Seeing how they pulled off 2009's event, I wouldn't be surprised if they did another horror movie themed year. Plus it may be possible they could do a hole "remake the classics" type of event. Remade versions of Frankenstein, Dracula, Phantom, Hunchback, and maybe even something like the Mole People or This island Earth. The only thing I do wonder is could they do tie inns to the remade versions on the Mummy and Wolfman. However whats throws me off is the so cold TWD house. How could that tie in to 100 years of universal? Also, I may be off or wrong here, what if we saw the Usher return. I don't recall A&D saying they would trash there old icons. Plus it could maybe fit in quite well. Also checking the clue words for where the Hercules and Xena house was, did anyone ever think the word "creature pit" could be referring to the Army of Darkness scene with the witch?
