  1. Good to have the site back, it looks great!

I try and remember what they said about after JMR left, many things changing. I thought it was roddy who said it was going to be a reunion year this year, though i might have that mixed with the wrong person.

So we've heard that since he left, many many things for this year have changed. Making it seem as if they took the original reunion idea, and one upped it to a larger event. I like the idea of seeing and saying goodbye to the past, and seeing what HHN has to offer for the future.

    Bring it on HHN!

  2. •UPDATE: Cast Body Bag - Jaws

•UPDATE: Half Dow* - Tent 2 (source: chainsawwolf)

    •UPDATE: Ghost - Cast B - SS23 (source: chainsawwolf)

•UPDATE: Chainsaw #3 - New York (source: chainsawwolf)

    Speculate and discuss

Notice the wording on that first one "CAST" body bag...

I'm perplexed on the Full dow and Half dow...

perhaps it is the size of the mask? (fullmask half mask)

well seeing as the Full and Half Dow's are roles with shaved heads, i wouldn't imagine them having masks? I may be wrong, but whats the point of shaving someones head for a role, to wear a mask. Definitely some interesting roles, and where be interesting to see more.

  3. No, Keep it up. I was in no way trying to shut you up. Vault had a HUGE problem of people leaking info. They figure because they know, it might as well be public knowledge. This event is VERY top secret until about early September. So we all need to help eachother out (politely i might add) so we don't get into trouble or let anyone else get into trouble. We love to talk about this stuff, but obviously, Universal knows what they are doing and will take action to make sure it is all working the way THEY want it.

its just that you put #2. so they know exactly who you are now posting that. not saying, they will be mad about these codenames...because i don't remember being asked to keep the information private. but ya. you've been around so no worries.

  4. so since the ticket pricing is really high this year do you think that the event will be in both parks this year?? i remember the only other time it was this high was in 04 when they had both parks open??? something is telling me when the offical site is up they might announce that it will be held in both parks???? sorry if im repeating another topic. what yall think?

As exciting as it would be, no they wont have both parks.

Please make sure you read more, and do use the search. This has been talked about over and over and over etc...

  5. wow!, so i just got word that from reunion auditions. HHN has already cast 60% of the event. By 430 today, they were already lined up 400 deep. They are either gonna get really picky, or they will not have a need to hold auditions into August.

I was thinking also, i haven't received my call as of yet. Last year i knew people who didn't get a call back, and at orientation were told they would be ABU. I dont expect to be cast as ABU, but possibly being cast as Firecrew could be why i haven't had a call back. As much as i've heard firecrew is fun, getting to have new roles. I liked having a cast and a home. Instead of having to only have a night to be a character, i like building my character through the event.

  6. I'd love the event to be based from Carey, Ohio. Only because i'm from Ohio and no other reason.

In all seriousness, all the story lines basing from Carey have the ability to tie the event together, and if they choose to go in this directions with this years event. Make it happen A&D!

  7. What Im concerned about is it says to bring a head-shot and your resume. I know some said don't even bother but obviously they said it for a reason right?

Nope. Neither are necessary. The first thing they will do is take a picture of you. And they need no reference of your past to see whether your body is suitable for a particular role. As well as your personality being what it needs to be.

Without without either, your all good.

Honestly I think people look goofy coming dressed up all nice with a headshot.

  8. So the facade for Sprung tent 2 is massive... A church? a house? a museum?

That house has the military storage/observation deck/ pitch fork/ and bed clothes... uber perplexing.

Also the crooked fence like structures combined with the van/garage... still not placing it.

I can see the sprung tent facade being something like an entrance to a secrete military bunker.

As for the fence, I can only picture mr Wilson standing on the other side giving wise advice.

  9. Ok thanks TJ aslo, but I plan to get there at 2, and im bringing a book to keep me occupado, and i will note the umbrella, i wont look like an idiot will i? getting there at 2?

Not at all. I showed up at 12 and wasn't the first person. The people who show up that early are there for the same reason. Don't be shy and make friends, you'll have a lot to talk about. You'll meet people from here, I believe CD and Dreamstalker will be there before you.

  10. The doors to the HR building won't open until 5:30 at the earliest, unless it starts to pour rain. Anticipate waiting outside, bring an umbrella.

The auditions start at six and the amount of time it takes for you to be finished is entirely dependent on how early you get there.

In essence if you get there earlier you don't have to stay as late. If you get there later you just finish later in the night. It's fairly likely you will have to wait a long time no matter when you show up.

As he said. An umbrella is crucial, it always rains. Some people brings chairs, there will be nothing comfortable to sit on.

At reunion auditions. They passed out numbers around 3 and let us roam till 430 when they started things up.

  11. That's what I was thinking too, Giant. Hopefully tomorrow, because Tuesday is another round of auditions and there is no telling how long it will be after that. Either way, I will have my phone on me.

Though auditions don't start till 6, so hopefully they will still make calls. Just wanna hear back.

  12. Okay so... I'll be there from October 20-25th. Are crowds larger, and wait times longer during those last weeks of the event? I'm holding off from buying my FFP+ because I don't know how if the Express add-on will be necessary.

Yes I'd say the crowds become larger. People tend to wait, figuring after a few weeks the actors will set in their roles as well as kinks with props will be worked out.

That being said, if you are going multiple nights, there really is no need for express. Each night you can concentrate on certain parts of the park and then go from there attempting to hit everything. Just plan your nights right and avoid the direction of the crowd. Remember, people come in and go left or right. If you get in a line that's 60 mins. Every house you hit will be that long, because you will be following that same crowd from house to house.

You should be A-Ok without express.

  13. lmao watch...come August we find out the theme is something like the "Director's twisted film festival." rofl xD with all unoriginal houses and that damned festival of the damned parade LMAOOOO xD

This doesn't have me laughing a single bit. I get what your saying, but oh lord what a sad day it would be.

I was thinking about the Lantern and how it flickers. We say it will lead us, and show us these shadows and what not. Im wondering if the flicker will grow brighter and brighter as the site is updating as it lays. Eventually getting bright enough, to where its no longer even flickering and exposing all there is for us to see form deep in the shadows.

  14. No movie based houses huh? Hm. Idk if I buy that. There's always a chance there coiuld be ONE. After all, they've been known to pop up even in completely original years lol

While you are not wrong saying they tend to pop them in there. We have solid sources saying there will be non this year. As CD said, this does not mean houses may not reference movies, just that we will not have any houses specifically movie based. And I think that's a great way to celebrate the 20th anniversary year. Throwing in movie houses takes away from the creativity somewhat, while having original themes helps prove why HHN has been so successful.

Saying that, we absolutely love movie houses. They scare us, so what better then to live them. But as I said, when it comes to creating such a house. The are only recreating what's already there.

  15. Well to look at it in another way.. What was Horror Comes Home like for Sweet 16, wasn't that a photo op area filled with random past characters with limited scare opportunities also? Wouldn't this be the same thing?

you'd really hope not. overall it'll be nice to see the characters, and yes take pictures. I wouldn't think they'd create a SZ for just that reason. I could be wrong.
