  1. Do you like to be scared? Welcome to "An Experiment in Fear"... this is an idea I've been toying with for 10 years and now ready to unleash it's horror to the world.

(This is a work in progress... thanks for your patience and I hope you enjoy it)

WARNING: you will not sleep after watching this.

This has been designed to fuck with your head. Follow the instructions exactly. It's fun to be scared, isn't it?

  2. Ya we notice alot of the times people can see the eyes sure but that doesnt mean the scare is busted. Its not like you know exactly what we will do even though you do see us we still have a few tricks up our sleeves. its funny to see people NEVER notice me and i can get the same group up to 4 times if i wanted to even in plain sight. The eyes feel like a distraction from the rest of the body so that way you are not aware of what will happen since your staring into our beautiful emerald green eyes lol! I'm pushing it every night and enjoying every second! To my fellow Forsaken fight on!! ARRRRRGHH!!

As a fellow Forsaken, silence really is golden... and since when do zombies use the internet???

All you mere mortals, come visit us in the Forsaken, if you dare. Our eyes penetrate your being and we'll eat your souls!

  3. I Think is really funny that the Plague doctors sound like Pterodactyls lol :D What i mean is when the actors come out to scare you, the sounds they have sound like a dinosaur coughing lol

    I love this house

out of all the stuff the Plague Doctors have been called, "coughing dinosaurs" is definitely a first

I got called Dirk Digler this last weekend. Finally, someone with a good deal of originality.

    now that is funny!

  4. My review after experiencing this house 3 times (twice at night, once during the day)

    Facade: C+

Okay, so the facade doesn't give off a good impression - it's garbage bags around scaffolding. The little plaques with information about the plague doctors is a great touch, I just wish they were more visible to the regular queue (even though I typically use Express). The "Le'Innocent" signs also help the facade a bit, but overall it comes off of as random. The little cart with body parts is nice, and the soundtrack is unsettling, too. Luckily, the innards of this house easily make up for the lackluster exterior.

    Sets/Details/Costuming: A-

Yeah, yeah, it feels like one big set. I don't care. It's a freaking cool, creepy set. There are some memorable moments (the pit with the corpse), the huddled mummies towards the beginning, and the epic museum at the end. The costumes, too, are excellent - no Dead Exposure jobs here, these plague corpses are extremely detailed, gory, and impressive. The plague doctors, too, are a nice surprise, and they make a great addition to the long line of creepy character types at HHN. They're also far more menacing than I expected... they have a certain menace about them that I can't quite explain. Probably has something to do with the fact they got screwed by being sealed in the Catacombs when they had previously been the ones to administer such a horrid fate...

    Scares: A

In all honesty, this is currently the most intense/scary house of the event. It's sets may not be NEARLY as cool or innovative as Legendary Truth or Hades, but both casts of this house were on FIRE opening weekend - I was getting nailed from every angle. I've never seen such an energetic, enthusiastic, and downright FRIGHTENING cast. These guys know how to use their rooms effectively and create some great scary moments. That final room is absolutely terrifying - but I'll get there in a moment. This is a house that depends on the actors for primal scares, and as of now, they are delivering in droves.

    Finale: A

This is a good choice for a finale that, as I mentioned just a moment ago, is terrifying and makes you want to run out of the house (which is exactly what a finale should do). Ominous in tone, the finale provides a good conclusion to the plot - several victims are exhumed from the Catacombs and put on display in a museum, only for passerby to learn that they didn't quite die. The air blast/strobe/manys tatue effect is simple but ingenious - I got tangled in the sheet which completely destroyed my guard and allowed for excellent scares.

    Overall: A (not an average)

Most intense house of the event for now. Good sets (if a little repetitive), and the best casts I've ever seen in a house. The facade is the second-worst this year, but the fantastic finale & main house make up for it. Definitely in my top 3, not-to-be-missed.

    great review! thanks

  5. insane! im really looking forward to this house , this and hades! Please everyone scare the crap out of me

sure! just wear a red "x", we'll seal your fate.

"A red cross or 'x' to warn the public not to go inside the house and show to the plague doctors which house/s to watch. The person or people inside of a marked house were locked inside with the others in the house even if there were healthy people inside of it. soon, the infected in the house would pass on infections to the healthier and everyone in the house would die. 1-2 weeks later, plague doctors with long beak shaped masks (stuffed with lavender to stop the terrible smell) would burst down marked doors and haul the bodies into deep pits dug randomly about sites of the plague ridden areas." -Answers.com

  6. BEST HOUSE HANDS DOWN.

Sorry for the caps, but holy shit.

I went through this house eight times, between Fri and Sat, and wow. Plague doctors are amazing. (Plague victims are amazing too) This is a tight house. Very claustrophobic feeling while going through it, and it just delivered. Every. Time. Constant scares and great energy. Major shout outs to the Plague Doctors that are all very tight in one specific hallway. I believe there's three of you right in there.

    Amazing scares.

Another major shout out to the plague-er's at the entrance, and at the exit. The exit scene is just amazing. It's one of those scenes that makes you want to drop what you're holding and run. There's a certain air effect that literally wrapped one of the white curtains into my face and almost suffocated me, I unwrapped myself from it and got a major scare from the plague-er in that last corner before the exit. Pretty sure it was cast A. You my friend, are brutal.

Keep up the good work guys, you can EASILY win HOTY. Just watch out for Hades, they're vicious.

Thanks King, what a great review! We're having a great time coughing and sputtering, who knew the Plague could be so fun.

  7. Andrew, you may have won the award for longest sentence:

"When you enter it seemed like the old Dueling Dragons' cave that was used to be filled with skulls and bones but throughout the house its the same and the same over and over except the final 2-3 rooms but it seemed like A&D tried for making the fear of claustrophobia play in this house but with that it was easy to see point out the boo holes throughout the house but the costumes seem great as the "masks" are related from the time of the black death as they try to stop spreading the disease using those specific masks so it was good in that way but everyone wears the same outfit/hat and wished to see more citizens of that time period coming back from the dead."

    good review, btw
