On Eddie Schmidt's facebook page, he states that auditions would begin on July 5th. Now how accurate is that I don't know for sure.

F.E.A.R. series, Fallout series, Clive Barker's Jericho, Clock Tower, Parasite Eve, Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead, or even Dead Rising. Fallout series would be great and could use Leave it to Cleaver tie-in. F.E.A.R. series would be cool as well.

Saw footage from this year's B&T over at Hollywood and it was better than Orlando's version.

Well, saw them running vehicle test on HRRR today and they officially announced that they re-opened it. Hope they fixed all the issues with the ride.

Just to blow off some steam. Universal needs to address how security policies are enforce since it is not uniformed. I'm a passholder and frequent Universal guest for the past few years and I have not once had to take my camera out of its bag, since it is fairly snug, until the Sunday October 24th when a security team member told me to take it completely out of its bag, for the first time ever, even though you can see that nothing else was inside the bag. The messed up part was that she didn't even check the other pockets of the camera bag and they didn't even check the bag at the gate. Because of this my friends that was with me were offended and spent less because it and thought that she was being anal about it. To bad it only takes one bad apple or few bad apples to ruin it for the guest(s) and the rest of the good team members. Granted that everyone is allowed to have a bad day but when you work with the public you need to control it as the public is paying you and if they spend less then that means less money for you in the long run.

The current photo book that I have posted is Malice, ends with the Straight jacket....at least it did Sunday. Hell for all I know it could get mixed around. Will have Menace up....By Saturday night. Sleep now.
You're right Chemo. Just couldn't remember if it was the bed or the jacket at the time of my post. Thanks for the catch.

Unless the projector is still having problems, I was at that Malice show as well. It was too bad, because a few of Brian's tricks in that show are of the close-up variety.
EDIT: I may be mistaken, but I believe it is actually the Menace show that ends with the cell-phone trick/had the projector problems.
Menace is the one with the cell phone trick. Malice ends with the bed.

I think of Krusty the Clown everytime I pass Jack's Photo Booth. But then again it doesn't help that the Simpsons Ride is near it.

I don't know if this has been talked about before, but I just saw the commercial for HHN in Hollywood and one of their "icons" (La Llorona) looks an aweful lot like Bloody Mary. She even seems to be wearing the same dress.
Warp, I thought the same thing even though they are based on different stories. The difference is that Bloody Mary wears a dress while La Llorona wears a gown with a hood.

The only real person that we can blame is the creative director that approved the script.
-
We should have another on the night when they do the LT investigation. Depending on if they even do it.
-
I caught the last shows on both days of opening weekend and they need to do a lot things to fix this major screw up of a great show. Who wrote the script? An intern or something?
-
I might be doing this for the VIP Lounge on October 7th. Just don't know if I should go at 8pm or 10pm.
-
Well, the VIP Lounge for October 7th does focus on Bloody Mary and is titled as "LEGENDARY TRUTH - THE JOURNAL OF MARY AGANA".
-
People really have to see both Menace and Malice shows to truely enjoy it. Great shows Brian.
-
They did for opening weekend and if I remember right every Thursday after that.
-
I was at Brian Brushwood's 8:15 show when it started to rain. Good thing I was prepared with an umbrella this year. Not like last year when I got caught in the rain on opening weekend in mid queue for the Frankenstein house.
-
RaiZe, I have to agree with you about B&T being 6/10. I found it a little weak.
-
Missed the meet up since I arrived at 6:45pm. Maybe next time.

Universal made a statement about 2 hours ago concerning HRRR on their FB page. Here is what they said:
"Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is temporarily closed because we’re doing maintenance work that includes its annual maintenance. Due to the nature of work, we find it’s best not to announce a re-opening date until we're absolutely ready. We’ll be sure you're among the first to know. Meanwhile, please continue to enjoy the many other exciting attractions & experiences you can only find at Universal Orlando Resort."

The post you quoted was from August 7th and HRRR was open then..
The post by whom? The news article I have and posted on another board is from the local news stations from last week with information provided by Universal media relation.

I just got my HHN tickets by fed-ex yesterday and I noticed on the back in the express pass information it says "Express not valid at Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket"
Why would they put that on the tickets unless the ride would be open during the event.
Simple. The ticket was printed before they updated the express pass texts. As of today nothing running on the HRRR.

One thing I've learned over the years is that the media usually doesn't know it's ass from it's elbow...
In most cases I would have to agree with you. But the ride has not been running for a little more than a week from what I've seen.
whats your fav memory of HHN

For me it was going on my first and second dates with my wife before we were just friends. Man how time flies. It's gonna be a year since then. Well, here comes HHN XXI. Can't wait.
