  1. The best advice I can give someone wanting to both enjoy the event and participate in LT is (assuming you're getting a Frequent Fear pass) to be there on the first night available to the FF pass. The crowds are usually thin enough on that night that you can get most (if not all) of the houses done and see Bill & Ted. This gets your full HHN experience out of the way and leaves the rest of the month open for LT stuff. You can then do any multiple visits to houses/shows that you want on nights when there are no LT events or when the investigation for a night is over (assuming it's a short night). Of course, this plan gets messed up if they decide to do something LT related on the first FF pass night this year, but we won't know if that's the case until closer to the start of HHN.
  2. Last time, for our first in-park event, we were given a location, time, and password for access to the LT Field Office. Once inside, we were given our badges. They did it again one or two more nights afterwards for people who couldn't get badges on the first night. Later on, CROs were also given a password to access their own downloadable badges from the website.
  3. Huh. I guess I'm just having trouble wrapping my head around why that would be the case. The only two reasons I can think of would be A) the character specifically asked that the response not be shared, or the response was OOC (out-of-character). And I can't imagine them breaking character, so...
  4. Yep, that's precisely how we felt the night we assembled the birth certificate. We thought for sure that the complete certificate was a clue to point us towards something else...but nope. That was it. And then we couldn't exactly "enjoy the event" because it had started pouring down rain.
  5. What Dinosaur Pirate posted on the previous page covers pretty much everything that went down in the park. There really wasn't an "end" each night (often leading to considerable confusion on my group's part). I'm really hoping that there are more concrete endpoints for our investigations in the park this year.
  6. I thought that was pretty much confirmed to be a red herring...the real clue we were supposed to find that night was the time on the clock in Boris' office. It was the same time that kept showing up all over the place (though I don't think anyone really noticed) and corresponded to the time that Bloody Mary was set free (and the time that Agana's grandmother was killed, and the time that the LegendaryTruth investigators experienced paranormal activity in Mary's old office...each event separated by 50 years). Anyways, yeah, it'd be neat if they gave us some more info on "the device" this year. There was a memo passed out that night that explained what it did with a lot of technobabble, but I think that was just part of the distraction.
  7. Yeah, given that the Facebook post seems to imply that the "first photos" will be released after this weekend, it seems that I was wrong and that they aren't actually the photos from the website. At least we have something to look forward to next week! I'm really glad we have a lot more communication with LT staff this year.
  8. And just in case people haven't realized it yet, the coordinates actually point to the entrance to the Universal Orlando resort on Kirkman Drive. When using only two significant digits for lattitude and longitude, you've got a pretty large square you're dealing with. If someone were standing at the resort entrance and grabbed their lat/long, then truncated them down, the coordinates on the LT site would be the result. Try this: go to this website and input 28.477811 for Lat and -81.459085 for Lon. Press the "Set" button and then zoom in on the map enough and you'll see what I'm talking about. As for the HHN website, I agree that there probably aren't any clues in the "20 Years of Fear" section, but I suspect that the photos being posted on the lantern page are the ones from the infamous "images.zip" file attached to the e-mail from Universal. I think that what the Universal employee sent to the LT Cell Director was the image files that Uni was planning to use in their promotion of the event. Obviously, the three posted so far don't reveal anything worthy of the reaction that the Cell Director had, but I imagine the final ones posted will give an explanation for his/her fear.
