  1. Another one of the best houses of the night!!!! LOVE the opening/facade. The whole house really makes you feel like there is a war going on all around you. The Nightingales were pretty intense, and definitely got the job done....truly scary things I WOULD NOT want to fuck with. I like how we see them attacking some of the soldiers (I remember one reaching out for help and screaming as he was dragged backwards). I could go on and on, this house is just so unbelievably fantastic in every single way...I LOVE THE HELL OUT OF IT!!! Definitely a toss up between this and Poe for best house of the night. (I like to imagine the one remaining victim in the hospital is Edmund)
  2. SOOOO glad I got this as the last house of the night. I'm almost positive that most of the scareactors would remember me here cuz I got the first half of the house pretty much to myself (Blue hollister jacket, black and red Aersmith cap, Last Year's horrornight nightmares shirt, blue jeans...if any of y'all scared me feel free to let me know in this thread or via PM). It's got great theming and I LOVE the costume design here...unfortunately what everyone has been saying is true: the house is WAY too short...I feel like it needs to be 10x longer. I really loved it and will definitely hit it several more times before the event ends. (oh, and the hurricane effects were pretty rad) Overall, fantastic house...just too short
  3. This was a very cool house. Had some real trippy effects in here, but I feel like I didn't catch everything. Next time I go I'll have to hit it again.
  4. This was one of the best houses of the night. It was a real treat to get to walk though some of Poe's works and to get to see the master himself (Was I the only one who wanted to give the guy a big hug?) Another thing this house succeeded in doing was making all the Poe's feel like they were the same person...it felt like there really was only one Poe in the house even though he appears in many scenes...so congrats!

    Review

I'm going tonight. Last time i went on opening night I left feeling a bit deflated (Last year). I understand that at the moment the scareactors are still finding their sweet spots and working out the ebb and flow of things. Thus, I'm not expecting a whole lot but still expect a fun time nonetheless. I will be back probably LATE tonight or sometime tomorrow with my opinion of the houses I hit and the scarezones I experienced. WISH ME LUCK (haha, that was an unintentional pun!)
  6. I know I have already posted this picture, but it comes the closest to what I shall be wearing tonight. I will be wearing last year's Horrornight Nightmares shirt, the blue Hollister jacket I'm wearing in the picture above, long blue jeans, and a black Aerosmith cap with the letters in red. My hair will not be spiked. Keep an eye out 4 me, and HAPPY SCARING!!!!
  7. I'm thinking about buying a Bill and Ted shirt, possibly a Lady Luck shirt, and most likely a hoodie (I love me some hoodies)
  8. I don't really know where this comment would go, so feel free to place it in the correct thread if it does not belong here. I had made plans to go with a few of my friends to HHN today. Well, ends up it's not going to be just a few of my friends anymore. Ends up 11 people have signed up to go along with us to the premier Halloween themed event in the US (so many we actually have to take a school van to go there). So yeah, I'm pretty proud. MOST EXCELLENT.
  9. Definitely wouldn't miss this show. Bill and Ted are kind of my heroes.
  10. I've been trying to decide upon an easily recognizable area where the first nighters could meet up for a group photo. I was thinkin maybe in front of the display shark in front of JAWS. If anyone else has a better meet up area plz let me know via PM(I am open to suggestions). I will not have a camera with me tonight (Lost it on The Hulk) so another group member will have to bring one. If anyone is interested in participating in this group photo please let me know via PM. THANKS!
  11. I wonder if they did this on purpose or if it's just a REALLY COOL coincidence. Either way I will DEFINITELY be entering The In-Between sometime tonight!
  12. Not really psyched for this zone tonight, but of course I'll walk through it. It does sound interesting.
  13. I CAN'T WAIT to walk though this house!!! I've heard it compared to Silver Screams (one of my all time fav houses at HHN) so of course, that got my blood pumping. I will see you all TONIGHT!
  14. I am ready to serve my purpose and join the Horizon.
  15. I will definitely be going through this house tonight. Always been a BIG fan of The thing and I CAN'T WAIT to step into the warped world of the film. I will update y'all on what I will be wearing to the event when I decide what I shall choose to help me standout.
  16. While my interest level was initially quite low for this house, after reading all the positive feedback for this house I must say that I am pretty psyched to give this lil baby a walkthrough tonight!
  17. wow. I had such hope for this zone. let's hope I'm pleasantly surprised tonight (I always go into every house and scarezone with a positive outlook).
  18. I will be sure to visit the denizens of AA tonight.
  19. Don't know if I'll be able to meet-up at Marley's ( I will damn well try, but College does come first), but I would definitely be up for a group photo on opening night! If no one else wants to set up the place and time I would be glad to do that.
  20. O MAN, that sounds flipping trippy!!!! I always had a good feeling about this house!!!!
  21. I've always wanted to see Idle Hands...it looks super cheesy, funny, and awesome.
  22. I don't know if I can be there by 5 (classes and such). I was actually thinkin of a spot in the park where we could meet up, maybe get a group photo we could post to the site (maybe around 8 or 9?).
  23. I personally can't wait for the show this year!!! Looks like it may rely on some nostalgia from fans judging from the set this year. SHOULD BE GOOD!!!
  24. Hmmm. I'm assuming the audio loop is from a recognizable, "popular' horror film. One presumably released during Generation Y (which ranges anywhere from the 1975 - the early 2000s). Could you maybe narrow it down a bit? HUGE movie nerd here, so I will probably get it right away...but I always enjoy a good guessing game before the event starts. Or maybe PM me a few more hints if you wish.
