A little thing I noticed while looking back at the posts from last night Me: Ahhhh, ok...so.....does LT currently possess the Portametus? IH: yes, Dan, we have the lantern in Princeton but we do not have possession of Thorncastle's device. Now, I was asking about the Portametus, but IH clearly responds that Yes, they have the LANTERN. Does this mean that maybe the portametus IS the lantern???? Idk, grasping at straws here.

In Silver Screams, I was fortunate enough to wind up behind a scareactor who worked for the house (It was his night off ). Of course i didn't waste anytime and jumped into the questions (according to him Scareactors are only allowwed to "stalk" people for 3 steps, is this true). Since when I went in it was his cast, he ended up getting quite a bit of abuse from the scareactors inside as they would brutally attack and sometimes even "kill" him in certain scenes. It was very fun to go thru with him since I couldn't help but chuckle every time he became a target. After the house we went our seperate ways, although I would wind up bu ping into him a total of 2 more times during the event. His name was Alex. if anyone knows him or is working with him this year, be sure to tell him that I said hello. I'm sorry if I deviated from the topic and will gladly accept the pre-chosen number of lashings I may have received.

5 things I learned at the briefing 1. The symbol we discovered imprinted on the pics is called a "portametus" 2. The Portametus is apparently the key to putting fear back 3. LT currently is in possession of the portametus, but not the device (It is implied that Thorncastle took the device with him when he left) 4. IH also implied that both portametus and device may be needed to put back fear. 5. LT has chosen to blame us for the release of Fear. I also got 2 of my question answered. One was about the possibility of destroying the Portametus after Fear is put back. Endicott replied, alerting me that Portametus is key to putting fear back. I also aked if LT has the porta metus and IH said they do, but not the device.

In the same vein; why do I see US coming to an unpleasnt fate in the house???? Now, I don't mean litterally like we're really going to die...no, I mean our characters we play in the house. I'm really interested to see how they do this, hope they do small groups instead of a constant line so that it's more of a walk-thru show than a haunted house. I can see it now: We start out in the living room with the LT team introducing themselves, the experiment/seance begins and weird things begin to happen until the lights all go off, when they come back on the LT team is being attacked by ghosts and scream for us to get out while we still can, then it's up to us to navigate thru the rest of the house and escape

I Loved Cleaver for the happy, smiling butchers and the amount of guest/scareactor interaction that was possible in the house.

My first year was 2008, my 18th Birthday. (OK, so my birthday was before I actually went, but still...me and HHN share the same birth year, so I thought I may as well celebrate both our 18 birthdays by goin). It was the first year I had actively followed the event for the first time (Although I had been interested in the event since the single digits, 2007 had been the first time I had considered goin). I had to do chores to make the money to go. The sweat and tears paid off cuz I had an absolute blast at the event and it jump-started an obsession that is still going strong to this day. My favorite house was Body Collectors because it was the one i got targeted the most in. My favorite scarezone was The Skoolhouse with that awesome extension where the street was lined with jack O' Lanterns. I'll still remember how thick the fog was near the end of the event...I got back to the hotel room smelling like HHN, it was neat. I've made a vow to go to every HHN since then, a vow I kept last year(First year I went with a friend, I got more scares 2009 due in part to the jumpiness of my friend...Was the first year a Chainsaw Wielding Maniac had targeted me and gave chase) and intend to keep this year as well.

how can we interfere if IH decides to pull the plug on her account here...if IH senses that we are trying to intervene couldn't she technically pull the plug on the forum as well?? either way, I will try to protect her as well. If LT is all up in bundles about her then she must be doing something good
