  1. The same happened for Dead Exposure and Scary Tales that year, too. They took this one awesome picture of the Dead Exposure finale and it looked like a zombie Abercrombie ad. Going into rehearsals, I was very skeptical about this year. I just wasn't feeling it for some reason. But I've gotten to see a slice of what's to come this year, and as usual, Universal has completely proven me wrong. There is so much that had me wide-eyed and geeking out. I don't want to be one of those people who flaunts that I know stuff that you don't know, but I just thought you guys would like to hear that someone who wasn't so psyched is now ecstatic. And P.S. Get ready for The Coven. Something about our whole street is pretty darn sexy.
  2. "Keep this up?" 13 years ago as a frightened child I was told that I could not be a target for scaring if I walked up on the sidewalk. By no means is this a new policy and it certainly hasn't affected the event if you just became aware of it. Oh, the AP event. It made for pretty great hours, workwise, but in Scary Tales back in '08, my scene was flooded with sunlight. Kind of ruined the scene.
  3. As far as I know, there were never any auditions. I'm going to assume the show won't be coming back this year Bummer. I always enjoyed it, but I know a lot of people didn't.
  4. Not sure if it's the same billboard, but I saw one today on I-4 east right by Merita Bread, in the same location Universal uses every year. I imagine the one right before Downtown on I-4 West will be up soon, if it isn't already. I didn't catch it on my way up there today. Best part was, I was on my way back from Universal after finalizing my HHN paperwork, so it was quite a nice surprise.
  5. I can't be sure about Silver Screams, but I can tell you that from my spot in Scary Tales back in '08, I could see directly over and behind the house, itself. And they definitely had a lot more room. They still had at least 2 Mardi Gras floats in there, aside from the house. So that building has the potential to hold a big ass house.
  6. I totally agree. I think people are getting a little paranoid. Giving vague and/or mildly misleading character names, such as Pinnochio/Chucky from last year? I believe it. But deliberately giving wrong information just to throw people off seems silly, and like an awful lot of work. EDIT: So apparently people are being told at orientation that about 70% of the roles are code names. But even still, there's a difference between a code name and a flat out lie.
  7. # 7. This is a very Shady building! Shadybrook reference? A terribly obvious one, at that. I'm not saying I think this is correct. I just read Shady and thought of Shadybrook. And then I read the news that the Disaster que will be a fan favorite... again, I'm not saying it's correct. But it's something to think about.
  8. Sirens have been written as both bird creatures and sea creatures. I wonder what form the sirens in Shrek Alley will take.
