Yeah, I loved it at 13. Toxic City was amazing, and that's still one of my favorite scarezones, to this day.

I had actually asked TJ about the foam, since so many people here and on the vault seem to think that it was removed because people got injured and it was hard to clean up. that's actually false. TJ said that they had polled the crowd, and that fans said it had been there too much for a few years, so they stopped it for a little so it wouldn't get overused. He said that it can always come back.

I would love them to do that too, the problem lies in a few things: 1. the general public wasn't going back then as much, so it wouldn't mean much to them, just to us 2. There really weren't icons as we know them, so it would be hard to represent them beyond trying to bring back their houses... I mean, crypt keeper would work if they were allowed to use him, but beyond that.. I can't think of anyone else that's iconic and recognizable to use as a figure head for their years. 3. ... I had something, but I just blanked... when I remember I'll post it.

exactly! I think the fans get a little too over-zealous (which isn't a bad thing, i know i do), but they don't remember that hype will always be better than the actual event.. if you go in being able to take everything in stride and have no previous conceptions, I think that it will be better in the end.

Yeah, we should be getting info soon. One of my friends that works at Uni sad she saw pieces of construction materials (mainly poles and such), and she thinks they are so HHN... So are they starting early this year?

I agree with hush.. Keep the pumpkins somewhere. Even if there's a scarezone underneath, they still should be at HHN. They definitely set a good ambiance.

So, now we know for sure that hammer = Saw house. Someone posted a video over on the vault of them sneaking in, and there was a note about a tricycle effect and there definitely looked like they were building a bathroom.

Yeah, I agree. The Director hasn't gotten enough love, and he has a large fan following. I posted this on the vault, but I'm going to post it here too. Honestly, I'm totally okay with them doing the event this way... It brings people in, which means a bigger budget for next year! I'd rather have them use a safety net when the economy is bad than lose HHN totally to bankruptcy

I personally think this is the teaser for this year... I mean, they only have 3 of the houses up there... My guess is that they are going to do some more with the site, but I don't think they are going to go do an insane amount with the icon's story... That would take away from the big three. That's kind of why I'm actually leaning towards the fact it might be the director for the icon this year. Also, last year our first page didn't even have anything to click on.. so, we really can't judge it.

I'm going to say yes the rest of the list is valid, mainly because Three are confirmed AND the title of the event is the same. (I'm still not sure about two of them, but whatever). I'm also very interested in the fact that the images that are being used for the house "logos" for the three of them were on the confidential paper that most of us think is no longer valid. Makes me wonder.

What is interesting is that one of the sites that has posted the pictures, they called that the Frankenstein house... so it makes me wonder. Maybe we thought this all wrong... Frankenstein brought the monster to life, kind of like a puppet master, controlling the motions and life...

Haha. Yeah, really! I was wondering when that would get posted, but I was surprised the Vault didn't notice these images until I posted that it was over here. hahaha. They probably wouldn't notice.

Based on the information that we've gotten, the event title would be "Ripped from the Silver Screen" and the House would be called "silver screams"
