  1. but wealthy estate home? I can't buy that yet. The house/family that the whole county/hellmouth got named after? tough sell.

I've ghost hunted some places that are considered estates and (from what I can compare with the pic) are not much bigger. I think its more land and servants owned that makes it a wealthy estate not the size of the house...though that does help

  2. The Orfanage: Ashes to Ashes - Ashes to ashes, forever now dust. For years she has existed in the shadows, never getting her due. Misunderstood by all around her, she has had enough of her playthings at the Good Harvest Orphanage - now is the time for vengeance. This burned out shell contains the souls of the forgotten and the lost who all scream one name: Cindy.

Love it my fav recent horror movie is Orphan and I've always wondered if Cindy would get her revenge.

Hades: The Gates of Ruin - Hades bids you welcome. Make your way into the Underworld, and come face to face with the most terrifying creatures of legend as you cross through the Gates of Ruin.

Huge greek mythology buff so this is like a wet dream for me

Psychoscarepy: Echoes of Shadybrook - The truth, as they say, is far stranger than fiction, and in this instance they happen to be correct. Although Shadybrook's doors have indeed been closed for the last 15 years, the place is still very much alive with all of the criminally insane souls that have ever walked its halls.

So is this a ghost house or an insane asylum house? I'm undeceided on this one

I'm totally excited Cindy is finally getting some action. Reading the description gave me chills

I'm a Greek Mythology buff to...so this is my most anticipated house.

I do think its ghosts. Echoes of the past...the picture. It all seems like ghost. I'm an avid TAPS fan and this make me think of the Waverly Hills Sanatorium shadow people. Just my opinion. So I say ghosts of insane asylum patients

  3. I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but the full reveal has continued the trend of Bloody Mary's exclusion, with the 20 years of fear section having the other 5 icons in flame and the fear revealed scarezone/show? mentioning the spirits of Chaos (Jack), Death (Caretaker), Sacrifice (Director), Mythos (Stroyteller), and Vengeance (Usher), but nothing that could be tied to Mary Agana or her possesed form.

Well my guess is they want to bury all that had to do with Reflections of Fear...it was a good concept but pulled off really poorly. I am especially allowed to say that...I was in the house....

  4. Can someone list an educated guess to the locations of the houses & scarezones?..

This update is amazing.. & I cant wait for the full unmasking of the new icon

2nd post in the discussion is exactly what my guesses are

Catacombs: Black Death Rising = Tent 1

Hades: The Gates of Ruin = SS23

Horror Nights: The Hollowed Past = Parade Building

Havoc: Dogs of War = Tent 2

Zombiegeddon: The Zombie Awareness Program = Disaster! Queue

Legendary Truth: The Wyandot Estate = SS22

Psychoscareapy: Echoes of Shadybrook = SS23

Orfanage: Ashes to Ashes = Jaws Queue

    SCAREZONES:

    The Coven = Shrek Alley

    Zombie Gras = San Francisco

Saws 'N Steam = New York

    Esqueleto Muerte = Production Central?

    Fear Revealed = Mel's

HHN: 20 Years of Fear = Hollywood

  5. So, is Fear Revealed a scarezone or a show? It would make more sense if it were a show and Kidzone was a scarezone, which would equal out to our sacred 8 houses, 6 zones.

I was thinking a show like where they had the one for Sweet 16 and Carnival of Carnage. And I think Esqueleto Muerte might be in that path from Mel's to Kidzone

  6. Now I am fully stoked for this!!!

I love it how there is no "mainstream" horrors like Freddy, Jason, or any other movies being portrayed. I think all of this original stuff makes it scarier because save for maybe a few houses/scarezones we're going into the unknown. And this new icon..."He" will be revealed. I love the mystery behind it. This is gonna be a fun year!

  7. Hmm... Swing set, trees, nightmare man... Freddy? Naw. Jason? Nope.

Could be the boogyman, could have something to do with the Skool... what if Nightmare Man is the principal of the skool?

Interesting concept. I would love to see a Skool/Trick or Treat house. I just still think "Nightmare Man" and "bed clothes" scream FREDDY!! Although with the New Line thing...I dont see how it could be. Maybe Uni is making their own version...I dont know...or hell...maybe they are just trying to mind @#$% with everyone.

Greek Mythology house seems to be a sure thing. And other houses being a compilation of past years. Like I think theres a 2009 house...

I'm still trying to put the Disaster queue specs together...and seriously its hurting my head. Psychoscareapy? I've had this discussion with my roommate...we dont think a relatively popular house would be placed in the Disaster Queue. A mental asylum or an actual hospital? Maybe. On the other hand...the van and garage door....a chop shop? I heard there was a role called "mechanic" in there. But what confuses me is how the role called "Carny" fits in to any of that...

Like I said I think Uni is making up names to confuse everyone.

  8. a Trick 'r Treat house would be excellent. loved the movie!!! werewolves, zombies, serial killers, even SAM. There's so much they could use with that.

I love the idea of a house for that. Just saw the movie recently and found I loved it!! If i'm not mistaken...2009 had a scare zone based on it called School (Skool) House. But an actual house for that movie could be real cool.

Me personally...They did it in Hollywood last year! My Bloody Valentine!! (I wonder if I like that movie...) Well it could be the fact I played Harry Warden in Orlando's last year in Silver Screams and I thought our MBV room was one of the places to get some of the most legit scares in the event...or at least in the House. So I would love to see that become its own house and I would love to don the gas mask and pickax again!

  9. I love how so many things come right back around to the whole NOES idea (like...no sarcasm. It makes me smile that so much could be related to it this year :])

    But either way

I honestly do not know if the picture we saw was fan art or not. However, I'm almost a hundred percent sure it ISNT bloody Mary. Just because Mary's contract is long since up and idk if Universal would bother even putting anything relating to her up, lest they have to pay the fee to do so. So that would put it in the fan art bin in my book.

As far as Freddy goes...from what I heard is that Uni doesnt own rights to him anymore. Granted, those role names do sound like it could be Freddy or Uni's own version of him. And as for Bloody Mary...i do know that there are Bloody Mary scareactors in a street scare zone.

Oh and by the way...Freddy vs. Jason would be an interesting idea for a house
