  1. 1. An American Werewolf in London (While the sets look pretty good, my excitement's more due to AWIL being my favorite campy horror movie. I'm hoping we get a nice transformation scene in here.)

    2. Urban Legends: La Llorana (Wow, this house is beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Water effects are always fun too.)

    3. Cabin in the Woods (Lots of room for creativity in the house, even with the movie tie-in. Also a great movie.)

    4. Resident Evil (Absolutely despised the idea of this house, but the picture that's been released looks great. Also like the creativity in the house, such as the pause room.)

    5. Havoc: Derailed (Absolutely loved this house in 2010. The set was completely forgettable [and this one doesn't look MUCH better] but if the actors have even a fraction of the intensity they had in the original house, this should be great)

    6. Evil Dead (I love the original and actually liked the remake quite a bit, but I feel this just won't work all too well as a house.)

    7. Afterlife: Death's Vengeance (Really like the idea of the house, but the pictures make it look a little too cheesy. We'll see how the effects actually play out in person though.)

    8. The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven (I actually enjoyed the house last year for the sheer amount of actors in it, but nevertheless, it lacked much imagination, and this doesn't look much better.)

  2. Pardon my naivete as I am new here, but who is Emerec Belasco and why would one assume his words have any ties to HHNXXI? I don't see a connection here.

    Daniel

We really have no idea who he is, though myself and quite a few other members on here believe he has direct ties to A&D. The main reason we trust him is due to the fact that each hint he gave out, in his cryptic riddles last year, came true.

  3. To be off-topic for a moment, who exactly is MS? I've been seeing the abbreviation everywhere, but I still have no idea who they are. In an attempt to not get deleted, Emeric's Twitter account seems a little more active than his Facebook account, much more to speculate upon there.

    Some of his "tweets":

"Life is only an outer layer, for reality is only realized by the insane."

"Evil is a moral entity and not a created one, an eternal and not a perishable entity."

The rest are pretty much the same as the ones on his Facebook account.

  4. I just saw that rumor on another site. It's interesting to say the least.

Yeah, it's also on Screamscape, which links a blog as its source. On the blog, they talk about how it's been "boarded up" and is now being scouted for a year-round Halloween haunt, I personally don't see it happening.

  5. Me too!

    HISTORY OF HORROR

    -Jack the Ripper

    -Catacombs

    -Hades

    -Sleepy Hollow

    -Samhain

    -Skeletons

    -Witches

    -Harvest Time/Corn Field

-Trick r' Treat (based off the movie and the tradition)

    -Voodoo

    -Day of the Dead

    -Pegan Traditions

    -The Hallow 2

    -Lizzie Borden

It would basically be a year where all the events, environments, and iconic creatures that played their part in "horror" and Halloween over the years, all come together at HHN XXI.

Dislike the Hades , Pagan Traditions (Which refers to anything that isn't Christian), and Day of the Dead (It's a very somber holiday), but other than those, I'd love to see a year based upon the ideas of traditional Halloween, would be amazingly fun.

  6. I thought it seemed pretty clear that the Iconic Era was coming to a close, what with the website pre-event and the fact that FEAR's presence was barely felt throughout the event. It just seems like they're starting to ease us off of the use of icons, which I personally don't mind. Then again, they make quite a bit of money off of the merch for the Icons, so we'll see what happens.

  7. The Link dosen't work for me either but I would love an Usher button as well, can you order them from that site?

You can buy all his designs from that site, and though the link doesn't work for me either, I just typed JWFearman into the search bar up at the top. May I also add that the ZAP shirt is amazingly well done, such a missed opportunity on Uni's part.

  8. No, it's has been officially stated by Aiello that it is NOT Mary Agana. The costume is an old Bloody Mary costume with a white doctor jacket. The scaracter just happens to have dark hair. One of the corpses at the end of Catacombs wears an old Bloody Mary costume, but that doesn't mean they are suppose to be Bloody Mary.

Everyone saying that it is her, I believe, are fans just so desperate to see her back.

She is tied-in to the house through the the interactive text game, as one of the files has a note written by "Dr. Agna". The spelling is different, but it's an obvious reference to BM.

  9. I didn't expect much of this house but it ended up being a really good time.

I went through twice so far and got Scott's cast (Invader Butters) both times. Hilarious.

I noticed a smell about halfway through that smelled kind of like some sort of meat. Was that what it was supposed to be? I would understand zombies smelling weird, since they are all dead, but I only noticed the smell in one particular room of the house, is there any significance to this?

I assume it's because of the trap in that room, smelled like barbecue to me. Haha

  10. Houses

1.) Catacombs (My mom called this one Kitty Combs as soon as she heard about it, seems like great minds think alike. LOL)

2.) Zombiegeddon (This house is my speed. It has some intensity, and it's got some great dark humor.)

3.) Legendary Truth (Enjoyed the effects even if they weren't as impressive as my imagination depicted them.)

4.) Hades (Loved Medusa and Minotaur, though Medusa was the highlight)

5.) Hallow'd Past (Even though I didn't attend '08 I feel a bit let down as I wasn't able to see as much of the classic houses that I was unable to experience :( )

6.) The OrFANage (I actually really enjoyed this house, but the others were much more muchier.)

7.) Psychoscarepy (The jail cell hallway and doorway hallway were awesome, but it was just too depressing.)

8.) Havoc (Appreciate the intense scareactors but blahhhhh I've got some hypersensitive ears.)

    Scarezones

    1.) Zombie Gras

    2.) Saws 'n' Steam

    3.) 20 Years of Fear

    4.) Esqueleto Muerto

    5.) Fear Revealed

    6.) The Coven

  11. I can not, for the life of me, remember the finale room of this house, and that would probably be my biggest complaint with this house. It's just anticlimactic. However, when you get the timing down this house is great, more fun than scary, and it has a great atmosphere. In the top 3 for me this year. :)

  12. Yeah the two (or three, I'm not totally sure) that are in the hallway don't usually stand around. On opening weekend, the guy in the first doorway to the left jumped out at me and then set me up for a double team where the guy on the right jumped out at me and I flew a few feet back. I then proceeded to give the first guy an evil glare and he cracked up, it was the best scare for me on opening weekend, right next to Medusa in Hades.

  13. I think is really funny how everyone in the park is calling this house Psychotherapy :)

Even the people that work there, like the ones asking your opinion of the house

Haha yeah it's pretty funny, the day after I was at HHN I decided to spend some time at IOA and one of the employees told me how "Psychotherapy" was his favorite. xD On a side not, was anyone else depressed by this house?

  14. I just saw the Hollywood Bill and Ted on YouTube and it honestly is 100 times better then ours. They should just get rid of ours and use Hollywood's version. The show is written and audio is all recored already so they'd just have to train the actors.

I just saw it too, it's great in comparison to the one here. What the hell... I guess with the budget spent on all the houses and scarezones they had to make cuts somewhere. :(

  15. Bill & Ted: 7:30, 8:45, 10:00, 11:15

    Brian Brushwood: 7:00, 8:15, 9:45, 11:00

(it does not state which is Menace or Malice; I would assume they alternate starting with Menace...)

I know for sure that the 11:00 show is menace so probably the other way around in its alternations.
