My first year going was 2008, and I was 13. I had been wanting to go for a while but my mom thought it would be to scary...and she was right. I went with two of my friends who were just as scared as I was and we ended up not going in any houses. I remember being really paranoid and making my cousin walk behind me so no one could sneak up on me. Even though we didn't go in houses we did go through at least a few scarezones....I ran into one of the guys on the CDT without realizing that he was an actor and awkwardly apologized, obviously intimidated since he was twice my size, and then all of a sudden heard the chainsaws start up and had a chainsaw fly up in front of me. I ran out of that area like my life depended on it, and got chased by the entire CDT to the amusement of everyone else in the zone. We ended up seeing brian brushwood's show twice. We all felt so pathetic afterwards, but over all it was still fun, and now I'm hooked

I suppose it depends on how scared I get, if I'm already on edge I'll generally gasp or I'll, as my friends call it, 'squeak' and say eep!, and then laugh awkwardly, but if I'm completely caught off guard I'll scream...and then trip (gotta love being a klutz)

They have a drop off section where you can drop someone off and not pay for parking. I generally get dropped off before the event since neither of my parents go.

favorite house by far. Got the best scare of the night in here! Great costumes, great effects, great sets, great actors. Loved it!

We must have gone through this house at the wrong time, because we seemed to miss all of the actors. It had a few good things, but we weren't huge fans. the few costumes I saw were funny though, and I'll definitely give it another chance this weekend.

Loved this house, my cousin and I (being huge doctor who fans) both flipped at the weeping angels. We were dumb and decided to go in this house first Friday, being completely soaked from the rain, and came out freezing. The actors did a great job, and while I didn't get scared, they got my friend quite a few times.

I like the sneaky aspect of the buttons, too.
In fact, why can't they have some in line, with video of the scares as they happen playing for our amusement while we wait. THAT would be some great line entertainment!

I could actually see this being a lot of fun, it reminds me of mummy, where you can activate the jet of air a couple rooms over by touching the scarab under the video screen, when it turns blue. as long as they were to space out when you could press the button, and keep the video in a room that's hard to tell apart from the others, I could see it being amusing and getting quite a few scares!

I'll be there october 1st with a group of about 6 other girls, I'll hopefully be wearing an altered halloween horror nights 18 shirt (if I can get it finished) I want as many scares as possible, and if you happen to be there the same day feel free to say hi

Not just that, but there is writing in the bottom right corner of the screen as can be seen in the photo below. I can't make out what it says, but it may very well be a clue for us, especially since it appears as an image on each LT page and the music has stopped on the site. I played the Warehouse Exxperience game again to see if anything changed at the end, but it was the same. I don't go to the event until the third weekend (it's a tradition) and once the event starts I stop reading the threads to avoid any spoilers. However, I figured that the Legendary Truth site was fair game. I noticed this glitch (?) also; or, is it a result of the hijaking. It appears that FEAR has entered the LT website the same time he is revealed at HHN. I think this is a clue, but I cannot determine what the writing says as it appears to be only half of the message. Any ideas?

OMG, i totally see a Fashion Show type deal for the show w/fear in it. All our favorite characters will be struttin their stuff in skimpy outfits, swimwear, evening wear, casual and for the main even...S&M stuff lmao !!!

no problem, and I understand what you mean. And it wasnt directed only at you... It has been a growing trend on here and FB and I figured it needed to be addressed. And as good intentioned as the post you made was, I can also see your post as possibly fanning those flames in the fans who are getting too involved.
As ive said several times, Its getting to the point where I actually am starting to not want to participate this year.
I understand what you mean, and again I do apologize for any flame fanning I may have caused. I didn't realize people would have taken that to a serious extent, although I guess that unfortunately seems to happen with games that seem even slightly real :/

people were asking in the chat last night if they should attempt to subdue or restrain Fear or his allies at the event, which common sense would say NO, you dont touch any performer or guest... however common sense is not that common it seems.
People are getting very personal in disagreements and taking things wayyyy too far.
and It seems some people are behaving like this is actually REAL. What do you possibly think the "Senior Staff" are going to do to park guests?
They are all ACTORS and we are all playing a GAME.
Its a shame that this needs to be said, but unfortunately the way some people are taking this i'm afraid people will do real world things that have real world consequences and ruin the fun for everyone.
Dont touch, threaten or in any other way assault or attempt to bring harm to anyone else involved in this event... or anyone in general.

you seem to have taken my question quite literally, I'm actually not extremely involved with this game, more of an onlooker, I meant more along the lines of an "online" thing, whether that be having Mr. Fell speak to us or send messages to people regarding the "disloyalty" to the organization. I in know way meant this as a serious thing, I'm sorry If you misunderstood

Does anyone think the senior staff members will do anything to "handle" those of the collective who seem to have turned away from being loyal to them, and now feel they are the problem (as most of us have become suspicious)? Just curious

Heh, I did what I could to try to get people to look at more than just the questions getting answered, but alas. People do get determined.
I'll just spell otu my conclusions on the meeting here rather than the facebook boards because, well, mainly, i trust y'all more. Someone do me a favor since I'm just this side of beyond ill with bronchitis. Keep an eye out for/on Gerry Morrison. I think (think) that we were introduced (kinda, she's popped up on very RARE occasion before) to our newest key player tonight. (or Goth wackee's newest ident., could swing either way still)

2008- I'm a really easy scare, and i'm 15 year old girl..so i seem to get targeted haha. It was also my first HHN so i was definitely on edge. i was walking out of amity forgetting that the chainsaw drill team wasn't on the map. Me and my two friends walked into it not thinking there was anything there, and i accidentally ran into a large guy. I immediately apologized and started to walk away when a chainsaw came up in my face. I screamed for my life and without thinking ran. my two friends realized what was happening and started to run after me, needless to say we got the entire chainsaw team chasing us out of the area, with everyone else there cracking up.
My cousins scare of the night was outside of simpsons, there were all the zombies, they managed to chase a bunch of people into the shop and then surrounded it, so no one wanted to leave, she called me almost crying she was so scared. we had to walk in and get her hahaha

Jack. no competition. although I have a horribly bad fear of clowns...It's turned into a full blown phobia, if someone even mentions them I get paranoid (ahhh the ways random childhood experiences affect you later on...) and Jack managed to put me into a full blown panic attack to the amusement of the girl working at the slushie cart I attempted to hide behind...
