  1. So there have been a few issues with people who know the spooky people calling their real names. As cool as it is to know them personally, you must refrain from using them. They are trusting their name to you and by you saying it removes the anonymity for the other guests around them or the far worse scenario, they are being called out by guests who do not know them what-so-ever. As Rumpelstiltskin would say, a name is power and also something about magic always comes with a price. So do your friends the favor and not call them by their names, a lot of them have stage names, asking is simple enough or figuring out your own makes it even more fun.

  2. but doesn't that make the rest of the park really empty? it sounds really cool to watch, but if they were all there then the other side of the park was empty?

they are all moving. all the streets are never on "one side of the park". They are everywhere. Just pick a zone and sit there for 5 minutes. Bet you money you will see a legion within that time frame.
  3. These guys gave me the scare of the night yesterday-just as I'm telling my wife we haven't had a good scare yet from the traditionals, one leaps in my path and scares the crap out of me. He then takes off, fists pumping :) I hope I made his night....

    and you're welcome

  4. Ok, I'm going openly talk about the house right quick. 1. As it has been said, the ripped away scene takes time to reset and also takes a toll on the scareactor. What makes it even more difficult is when one of those boys has a knee injury. You guys think they are being lazy when they are actually in pain which brings me to point number two. All of you who posted with the whole " One cast is better than the other" thing do not realize the amount of drama and problems it starts. Aside from that, we loved seeing you guys walk through and appreciate the feed back though i felt that a little defense was needed. All of us in the house have bruises, cuts, injuries across the board. Through the punching, spitting, frontal nudity, kicking, set-to-head style, we all kept our heads up through the entire run best we could. Thanks for a great year guys.

  5. Nightingales was my favorite house this year. Great sets, great audio, great actors, great energy, great scares. The perfect combination. My only complaint might be the consistency between the two casts. For me, one cast was greatly superior to the other. It was almost like going through two totally different houses when seeing the different casts.

For the cast that was killing it, keep up the great work! For the other cast, just know that there is room for improvement. The other cast is proof of that. Use these comments as motivation to be the best. Be aggressive and keep your energy up because it really shows from the guests' viewpoint.

Anyway, I will miss this house. The last house that left me longing to go back was Dracula in '09. Both houses had mostly female casts...coincidence? I don't know, but it does feel as a larger male that I was targeted a lot more in those two houses than in most. I always appreciate when an actor tries to scare me and especially when they go out of their way to do so. Those efforts really leave a great impression with me. So, to the Nightingales actors I say thank you.

Don't say which cast. Starts drama and shit.

  6. Nightengales (9:30): I was very excited for this house and was extremely dissapointed. I expected the banshees to be as viscious as the DOWs from Havoc. The visuals and the sounds were great but the scares lacked. I got one good scare and thats it. Will definetly be going through this one again though. Rating: 3 out of 5.

cast change at 9:30. bad timing.
