Sirens are the beautiful women (mermaids?) who sat on rocks while singing luring boats to crash into the rocks. They're definitely evil and i would LOVE to see them. However, i have a feeling sirens relates more to the sound itself. Such as a fire, jailbreak, toxic leak, evacuation, etc.

When I got the email, the thing on the top of the lantern looked a lot to me like an anchor with tentacles. Then again, it also looks like roots of a tree to me.
There's my two cents for the day.
I thought the same thing at first, then i realized it was just a handle.

So, the whole shapes appearing from the lanterns light to me screams SHADOWS of the Past. Also, the roman numerals are on the site everywhere and even morph to create past years numbers? hm. definitely a tree or roots grabing the lantern. roots of halloween horror nights maybe. however, it looks like we will have a mix from the present ands the past. it says this year is built upon the past.
p.s.
whats the song now playing on the site?

or maybe a whole new house? we keep saying...ya must be this house, or that house, even possibly that house too. common people, lets be more creative than whats been done...sure some ideas may come from scenes or things from successful houses of the past. but A&D is making an effort to recreate HHN, and not dwell on past success. lets open our minds a little bit and not take everything we hear, and turn it into what we know.
I'm just giving an idea. Especially if they do stick with the whole reunion thing. Which I hope they don't even though i've never been.

So just a thought on the observation deck. Although I never got to attent a Body Collectors house, from what i've read there was a scene where one collector ripped out a spine while the others sat in jury like seating observing. Hmm...observing- observation deck. Maybe the return of body collectors? Just an idea.

Well the tag line for 2002, the caretakers year, was literally "your time has come". I would bet my life on the caretaker making a comeback in a major way.
