I just did the PM tour on Saturday and got Exorcist, Ghost Town, and American Horror Story. It was amazing experience, my first time doing the tour and so happy I did. Want to say a little shoutout to my tour guide if there's any chance he's on here. Andrew S. Is great tour guide, seemed very knowledgable, friendly and pretty funny too!

So we're back to the generic commercials.
What the heck! Chance is supposed to be our icon and she can't even be on the commercial!

Drawstring bag is cool. I know I'm in the minority here, but I like the blood words on the front of the shirt, so that's a bummer to me. I do think some years the line on the shirt is stupid, but some years I really like the words they choose for it and in that case I love it.

So it look like Horror Nights may have just deleted a post saying that Chance will be a part of scareactor dining this year. Maybe somebody let it slip?
Well I sure hope she is with her being the icon! Good to hear though.

Honestly if you live that close, I would pay a little extra and get the Rush of Fear ticket. If you have an annual pass, its $81 and if you don't, since you live in FL, its $92. This allows you to go every single night for the first three weeks! While you MIGHT be able to see 8 houses on opening night, you are going to be rushing around and standing in long lines so you might not get to really enjoy the event. Plus, your coming in after opening and on a AP preview night so house lines will be crazy right from the start. With Rush of Fear, you can show up at 7pm, jump into a house or two with a shorter wait and then enjoy the zones and see Bill and Ted (an HHN classic). See another 2-3 houses right before closing and come back another evening (or 3) and see what you missed plus do your favorites again and again. It really is the best, and cheapest, ticket option out there to really ENJOY your time and not feel like your rushing around. So, if your work schedule allows it, drop another $20-$30 a go a few nights...you won't regret it!
Well yeah if you can getting a rush of fear or frequent fear is definitively recommended if you're local. I'm from Brandon (right outside of Tampa) and every year me and my parents and my cousin get frequent fear passes and get a hotel in Orlando for opening weekend and we go both nights opening weekend and at least one other night some in the rest of the event, maybe more. Most years we don't manage to get all the houses done Friday night, but get like 5 or 6 done Friday and knock out the rest Saturday and then usually get to do a couple again on Saturday.

Looooong time Lurker, since 2013. Embarrassing I know but this year I plan on going opening night. I get off work at 530 and can be changed and at Universal by 645 the latest. I plan on skipping TWD or atleast seeing that one last also I will not be seeing any shows will I be able to see the other houses without express???
Try to eat before hand so you don't have to waste time with that, and you're gonna have to be smart and walk fast, but you should be able to do it. Can't say for sure without knowing exactly how the crowds will be this year, but I know people have done it in past years. Should be doable. Basically guaranteed with express. You should be able to buy express there though if it looks like you'll need it while you're there.

Quick Question, for those who are in the know about this House:
If I had a Frequent Fear Pass, would paying the $50.00 extra enable me to get into the Repository on multiple nights, or would it be $50.00 each night?50 each time per person

1. A Chance In Hell ( I love the character of Chance and am really excited to see her get her own scare zone)
2. Lair of the Banshees (sounds really cool and scare zones there are always great too)
3. Dead Man's Wharf (sounds spooky. Great location. Love the ship they just put up on the scare zone)
4. Vamp '55 (sounds fun and vampires can be cool)
5. Survive or Die (could be good, but the concept does sound boring to me. It does get points for doing the projection from Acid Assault)

I agree, I love the ship!

Okay... am I missing something? I absolutely hated the movie and only watched like half of it because I was so bored so I don't understand the hype that this house is getting.
Maybe I need to give it a second chance..
It's supposed to be a horror comedy along the lines of Gremlins and I think it succeeds at that very well and I thought it was really fun. I don't know, maybe you wanted it to be more serious? You could just not like it and that's fine too. My cousin didn't really like it though he admits that he thinks it could make a great house

I heard that the last season made it connected with the others somehow, not sure how but I heard that. So do I need to watch seasons 2 and 3 before I watch 4 and 5?

My family just bought our passes for HHN and we also bought tickets for the unmasking the horror tour (and the Scareactor dining experience). Never done the tour before, so excited to finally do it! We're doing the 2:00 tour. Mine didn't mention anything about where to go to meet up for the tour. I pick up all the tickets at will call, but that's all I know. I also found it odd that the tour tickets didn't ask for name and info of the people doing it, had to fill out names for the frequent fear passes, but not the tour. Is that normal?

Probably 2012, 2013 is close. Both had some great houses I loved, but no scare zones, some bad houses, and the marketing was terrible for both. And 2012 had 7 houses when we were used to 8 by that point.

Is Alice all inside like a soundstage? In other words, I'm wondering how it's affected by light if you do it while it's still light outside. I know in the past some light gets through the tents and Disaster house, but not soundstage or parade building I think.

You can look me up on my Facebook at Facebook.com/scottedmondson for ideas of what I look like. In fact if you're on here, feel free to add me. Friday night I'm gonna be wearing one of the shirts from this website, and Saturday I'll wear a new shirt that I'll buy Friday.

From my friend who did see the houses and zones
They loved M&M and Alice 3D. Unfortunately they didn't catch on that it was an Alice themed house and kept calling it Asylum but they said it was still cool and colorful.
well I mean that's not wrong to call it by its name, Asylum in wonderland is the name of the house so Asylum is a pretty reasonable shorthand for it

Anyone know where I could find a spoiler-free review of the houses? Just looking to get some general thoughts without getting too much information

designing the fear's Twitter page, he posted spoiler free reviews of mostly everything he got to do last night

I really hope they incorporate that Nazi scene into this house. That part really disturbed me as a kid, to this day I still associate Nazi Werewolves with Kermit the frog. (I know he was in on it)
it does

I love all the merch! Chucky being there feels so random and I would prefer the Usher or BM or Fear or Lady Luck, but I don't mind it too much. It definitely doesn't ruin the shirt, I love it still.

Yeah, he walked everybody through the side exit/entrance next to Blue Man Group. My group turned right back around and went through that entrance lol. But yes, since they don't scan your day tickets for the tour, everybody has to be walked out so you can go through one of the entrances to get your ticket scanned.
And here here is my Facebook album of all the pics I got from this weekend https://m.facebook.com/SCOTTEDMONDSON/albums/10211411676633335/
