  1. My 2 main concerns:

Already work a full time job from 7-5.

Afraid I wont get a chance to actually go to the event.

    1. I know quite a number of people who have full time jobs that also work horror nights. They seem tired during the run but they have just as much fun as everyone else. The gig is only for a month so it's a temporary strain on yourself.

That being said, working the event is very tiring physically and mentally. It is a lot of fun though and an entirely unique experience.

    2. When you go to the audition you'll be given a form that will have every event night listed. You can mark off which nights you would like to take off. Your availability is a key factor in whether or not you are chosen. If you request many nights (5+) off your odds of being hired are reduced. However, if you have a commonly used body type you would still have a good chance of being chosen for Active Back-up.

You should be able to request a night or two off without it impacting your ability to be hired.

  2. Where exactly are the auditions held, and do we need a character type out?

Auditions are held in the Universal Orlando Human Resources building.

1000 Universal Studios Plaza Orlando, FL

Character typeout just means that they will look at you and determine which body type you are in order to place you in a role.

  3. HAUNTED HOUSE PERFORMERS, STREET PERFORMERS AND STILT WALKERS

Roles playing Vampires, Orcs, Chainsaw Wielders, Boogeymen, the Undead and many more terrifying characters to scare the %&*# out of our guests

:) speculate on that :P its for auditions but it says a few monsters now we have some house ideas?

That is the description that has always been used on the audition page. I wouldn't view it as a clue to this year's theme.

  4. If I understand correctly the leaked items are room names for the houses. These room names are always descriptive of the room much in the same way that on a DVD menu the names of the chapters are descriptive of the scene, albeit in a usually funny or ironic way.

If these are real, they are most likely good indicators of what the room will have in it.

  5. Yeah I'd like to agree with this. Lots of people who realize what the job really is after a few days of doing this they drop out and create holes in the event...which people complain about later on when there are not enough ABU and FC to fill the holes. This is an EXTREMELY physically demanding job. You will hurt in places you didn't know you had, you will sweat more than you thought possible and you may come to hate people with every fiber of your being. However, once you get someone to scream, you will be hooked :) If you're up to the challenge, please do audition :) There's a reason this will be my 4th year doing this :)

  6. Or maybe even the next teaser reveals the Usher, who at the main site launch is reveled to be Eddie in Usher style(Will be a recognizable face to the public because of the I.C.U. ads from '01) . This would allow for a great link into next years possible Jack and Chance wedding with Eddie/Usher as the best man. Or even have next year explore the bride more with chance as the icon, and round out 21 with the wedding. (3 Story arc) I think that the wedding would go better with the 20 year anniversary if we have one at all though. Who knows....

  7. IF they use Chucky this year I would say it will be live actors. Universal has a great actor in Ben who could pull off Chucky rather well.

If that was a reference to me Ben, then I can actually do a quite menacing Chucky look. Little bit too tall really.... meh.

So now that we have 3 confirmed... do we assume the rest of the list is vaild?
