  1. My favorite memory was the first year I went. It was HHN IV and I (about 11 at the time) went with my mom and my brother (9 y.o.). While waiting to get into Uni, my mom strikes up a conversation with a couple of college girls nearby. They were nice, but we lost them once the crowd started moving to get into the park. We get to our first house (Hell's Kitchen) and the line was already kind of long. Well, who should we happen to see at the very front of the line? The girls! So they start yelling at my mom, "Mom! Come on, we're up here!" We went inside with them (back when they would send you in groups of about 8 or so... ahh, the good ol' days lol) and I remember one of them DIGGING her fingers into my shoulders she was so scared. I think that's why I wasn't as scared - I was concentrating on my poor shoulders. lol

I also remember later on that night watching people leaving one of the other houses (maybe the Psycho Path Maze?) and getting scared by one on the scareactors near some bushes outside of the house. Oh! And of course, Robosaurus. :) Def. started my HHN obsession and have been going when I can ever since!

P.S. Writing this memory makes me feel old. lol And it never really dawned on me that I was 11 the first time I went (I never really thought about it until now). What was my mom thinking?!? lol Oh well, a testament to her awesomeness. :D

  2. As far as I know....there are no red buttons in LT. I thought there was just the one in PS.

that is correct. the only red button is in LT and it is the first time Unioversal has ever done a guest-activated gag.

Did you mean PS, not LT?

And I was wondering about the red button thing too, so thanks for asking this! :)

  3. I as well mentioned that lack of interactivity on the website. I am concerned that I will be a little less familiar with this event that past years, even when I know all the information given out so far. I have no feeling of how a house might be like, even while reading a description.... Maybe we will see another update or something?

I also wish there was more interactivity, but I kinda thought that was the whole point of the "bare bones" site they have now... keeping people in the dark, guessing how it will be... FEARing the unknown *wonk wonk*. lol

Still... I hope there will be at least a little more - maybe 1 or 2 more updates.

  4. I agree with everyone else - you asked 2 questions and we can only answer once! :-P

That being said, yes I drink at HHN (I don't get drunk though), but nah - you don't need to. You just gotta know yourself and those you go with. I don't think it should be a dry event. As long as security is doing their job, it's all good. :) And if they need help from a few helpful citizens... that can be arranged. lol

(If they ever did decide to change it to a dry event, I'd invest in a flask and call it a day. :) )

  5. As someone who has yet to post on this topic (though I've been lurking), I'd just like to say thanks because though there are no site updates yet (well, significant ones anyway) you guys keep my anticipation up. Thus, when there are no Universal updates, I come running here to see what you guys are talking about. :D Keep the discussions coming!

  6. Anybody who wants a copy of the Wikipedia page can follow this link to a google doc I made: http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AaP77cCB9RUMZGM0Y2JqemtfMzhnNnd2Ymtjag&hl=en I won't be taking it down, so feel free to use it at your convenience. It will allow you to save the page if you wish. Also, HHNRUMORS archived the information (not the forums) on the vault if you're interested: http://hhnrumors.com/vault/news/index.html

    You rock so hard, thanks!

Honestly, I don't see what the big deal was w/ taking down the site. Someone just had a bug up his butt. Maybe because HE hadn't heard of it, he ASSumed it wasn't well known. Effer.

  7. About the Wikipedia page, I just Saved the Whole page in pictures, it took a while but i have all the info, if they wanna delete it, Fine! i already saved all the stuff from there, Ha-Ha

    Yay! Good idea. :)

BTW, I found the following links that may help if anyone wants to post them as arguments to keep the article (I tried to see if I could do it on there, but I refuse to make an acct. for yet ANOTHER thing online I barely use, and it was confusing to me to edit... and I'm tired. LOL)
