My username is a play on my middle name: Marivi (said mah-ree-VEE).
My family has always called me by my middle name and one time I went to visit family in CA and my cousin's son said my name "Mah-bee" (haha, sounds a little like "my bee") and thus MahB was born. :-)

And yeah, I don't really read the comments on the HHN fb too often, but decided to today... And will probably decide not to tomorrow.

Had some trouble with Zazzle on these. They wont print them due to it being Silent Hill (even though it is for personal use and not for sale). What that means is I had to go elsewhere which costed more... But I will still have the buttons. there just wont be any reprints as they are not cost effective.

Towards the end of the event last year they had stocked up on the deck of cards and keychains. I remember seeing alot of them at the "It's a Wrap" discount section after the event.
Forgive my ignorance but... where is that section?

I usually get beer or Smirnoff Ice when I go, but after reading through this thread it may be time to spice things up (depending on who I end up going to HHN with this year lol). Too many good drinks & drinking places to ignore.

Cinderelly - My best friend has been going with me to HHN since '01, and I know she STILL doesn't get my obsession with it! (She's a good sport, though.)
That's why I'm glad HNN is around... for a while I thought I was the only nut. lol -
I would also like to add that the Orange County History Museum is part of Bank of America's promotion of "Museums on Us", so if you have a BOA credit or debit card, you can use it to get in free the first full weekend of every month (so next month you can get in free February 4th or 5th).

I feel like I'm behind on something. Why is duality/twins being talked about? (Not that there would be anything wrong with that, just something I've been seeing a lot of 'round these parts.
)I'm not sure how I feel about the end of the world being the WHOLE theme of the event, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing it as the theme of one of the houses.

Sooo I officially moved to Virginia not long after my last post here.. I got a job with a good company, and now looking for a house. (Staying with family until I get settled in at work since I will be moving locations at work after Christmas) Feels soo good to be working again! Loving Virginia too.. I just have two major fears while living here.. 1.) Driving in snow/Ice.. 2.) Hitting a deer.. That second one sounds so awful, but I've seen soo many dead deer on the side of the road due to them running out in the middle of traffic.. I've seen a lot of deer on the side of the road grazing.. I am afraid one is going to decide to run out in front of me one day.. le sigh.. I miss everyone on here!
I'm not on here too often, but I do remember you mentioning moving to VA so YAY! Very excited to see that everything is going well.
As for deer... I remember passing by a car that hit a deer on the Turnpike... yikes! Just be extra cautious around this time, ESPECIALLY at night. They're a crazy bunch. lol -

Just curious, but are we in Hell Week right now? I only ask because when I was there on Thursday, the crowds were surprisingly big, the smell of vomit was everywhere (pretty sure I stepped in some, too), the bros were particularly drunk and one of the bathrooms was just flooded with urine.
I think so, but I also believe someone mentioned that schools in Seminole or Orange county had Friday off so a lot of people decided to go Thursday... at least, I thought I read that earlier.
Nah that's universals a&d adding a new atmosphere to the event!

I have an interview next week that could REALLY change my life.. if I get this job.. I will be moving to Virginia.. which I have wanted to do for as long as I remember. So since this is such a life changing interview.. I am UBER nervous. I really want out of Florida, and really want to move to Virginia to be near my family. So nervous.. I leave Tuesday for a week, and the interview is Wednesday.. gah.. **fingers crossed**

How do you think the lines will be this Sunday?
I think it's pretty safe to say that from now until maybe Sunday the 23th (the day I'll be going, unfortunately) will be CRAZY busy and I wouldn't be surprised to see lines go in the 75min - 90 min range. :\
