    There are already some really great suggestions! Some songs I think would be fun to hear are:

     

    - Burning Down The House by Talking Heads

    -Talking In Your Sleep by The Romantics

    -Blue Monday by New Order

    -Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr. (I think this would be particularly funny)

    -Take On Me by A-Ha

    -How Will I Know - Whitney Houston

     

    They don't all necessarily go with the vampire theme, but I think they're a good mix of vamp & party music. I can't wait to see what this sz is going to look/be like, even if I just hang around it to listen to the music. lol

    Just a general note of appreciation to all the walkers in the streets... I had more than one get all up in my face! lol My friend (who went to HHN for the first time ever last night) joked about one of the walkers in front of Disaster, "Damn, if he would have gotten any closer we would've been making out!" lol Keep up the great work!

    I gave: A bunch of stuff from Think Geek to various people (including myself) lol, a night to Christmas Town @ Busch Gardens to my mom & cousin, a CD & some bottles of bubbly wine... toys for my nieces/nephews... a box of goodies for a swap on another forum.

    What I got: A Fitbit Zip, sugar skull shot glasses, a fleece blanket, the makings of an Amazon gift card (aka cash lol), earrings... a box of goodies from previously mentioned swap... that's all I can think of. Oh, and awesome holiday memories. :)

    I'm in a genuinely good mood right now. Like, in a really REALLY good mood, even though I should be sleeping because I have to wake up at 5:30am tomorrow (or rather, later) to go to work at 7am (most likely... ah, the joys of being on call).

    This is... rare. (How sad. lol)

    I just wanted to illustrate how men and women think differently. I was having a conversation with my wife and mentioned another woman that we both know. She looked confused, so I said "you know, the one with the big boobs." She still had no clue who I was talking about. When I said "the one with those earrings that you thought were cute" she automatically knew who I was talking about.

    Maybe she knows a lot of big-chested ladies? Lol

    This has very little to do with that, but one time my friend was trying to think of an actor and she said to me, "You know, that famous black guy." And I totally got it right on the first try. Lol (I think it was Morgan Freeman. She didn't even hint at to any possible movies he would have been in and at first, I thought she was lying about me guessing it correctly but I really did. :P *random*)

    Who was the smarty who waited until the last minute to get a Walking Dead tumbler, only to have them sold out? :( D'oh! I told my mom to stop by the Universal store at the airport (I was picking her up from a trip) and she told me that the lady told her that since Universal sold out of them, they told all the Universal stores to send theirs in. :\ And I almost bought one last week, but I was like, "Oh, I can wait until Halloween in case they lower the price on them." lol Oh well, I had to console myself with a t-shirt (bought the one with the houses on the back).

    I'm anxiously checking the price tags every night. They're definitely taking their sweet time this year since there's a lot more people coming to the event.

    Because it's been so packed, I don't think anything will happen until at LEAST Monday, if not later. I'm wondering if the Universal store at the airport will put anything for sale. I have to be there Wednesday anyway (at the airport, not the store lol). They had some shot glasses, the Walking Dead cup I really want, as well as some t-shirts.

    Scareactor Appreciation

    So many good scareactor run-ins last night! Gothic cast around 6:00pm was awesome - really got my nephews. Walking dead cast around 6:25ish, also amazing. Penn & Teller house around 6:45 was great, especially whoever was in that light room... got a bit disoriented and they got me good! lol House of Horrors cast was awesome around 7:15. Person at the end of the Alice Cooper house, I believe around 7:35-7:40, you ROCK! Probably one of the best scares of the night for me.

    Street people... Got my nephews and I pretty good distracting us in front of Monster cafe around 6:15 - got tag teamed by girl with mask & pumpkin head person. That was the most memorable one, but I know a bunch of people got me throughout the night.

    Good job all! Keep up the good work. :)

    So I've been dragging my bff to HHN since 2000 (that's when we met, in high school). As the years go by, I've been getting the feeling that she's pretty much over going to HHN and definitely just goes to please me (which I really appreciate).

    Last year and this year I found other people to go with, and told her she was off the hook both times.

    Guess who asks me when I'm going this year, and that she might be interested in going with me anyway? :wacko::lol: (She said she felt like she was missing out. Mwahahahaha!)

    I was a sucker employee preview night, made my first merchandise purchase since the 2006 event. Bought TWD double insulated cup and one of the hoodies.

    I have to say there is quite a nice assortment of merchandise this year, a little something for everyone it seems.

    At the very VERY least, one of those cups & a zombie lanyard will be mine! :D lol (Hopefully. :P )
