I've grown a recent fear of earthquakes since the Chile and Haiti incidents. -shudder-
On another note, I really want to make Alice's blue dress at the moment. Or anything. Looking at Moonfall's stuff on her livejournal has really inspired me to get back into costume making. Thanks! Now to find some money for fabric... Haha.

Welcome back to the boards, Steph! Long time no speak.
-
That's fantastic that you will be able to fly back for HHN! I can imagine how hard it must be to leave school and friends behind though, I was in band all through high school and made some of my closest friends thanks to that activity. (Friends I still have now, 20 years after graduation...) But what an amazing experience, to live in of all places JAPAN! That's awesome, and think of all the unique experiences you'll have!
I'm definitely staying closer to the boards too, to get my fix. Haha! If I don't get to meet you guys this year, or if I miss it altogether, I'll be severely upset.
But at least Alice in Wonderland's coming out in a couple of days! I want to make her blue dress really badly.

Yeah, it's almost official now. But mom is letting me fly back for Halloween Horror Nights, at least. So maybe we'll be able to meet up. I hope so, or I'll be dead to the world. This is exciting and terrible at the same time. I'm going to miss Satellite, especially band...

So... I might not be able to go to HHN this year, or any of the coming years... Because we got a call today telling us we have 7 days to decide whether or not we want to accept a moving assignment to Japan..

I'm looking forward to Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland soooo much. I'm so excited.
On a side note, very busy week ahead.

I'm actually fine with them all working together to bring us our glorious event. I don't necessarily need one or two of them to host the rest or the event. I'm fine with a joint effort. Ya know what I mean? Like 16.

Haha, I know, right? I didn't even know they MADE Kingdom Hearts Snuggies! I was definitely suckered into it, but it was worth it. I'm amazed at how comfy it is. It exceeds my expectations, definitely. Plus, all I could think about was the Bill and Ted show from this past year while I was buying it.
On another note, I'm watching such a ridiculous show on Fox Reality. It's called Who Wants to Be a Superhero. Bahaha.
Edit: The superheros from the above show are now in Universal Citywalk to catch a crook! (Hollywood though)
Edit 2: There's a Hot Topic in Citywalk over there? Don't get me wrong, I adore Hot Topic, it's my favorite store! I just never imagined it in any Citywalk.

I can't believe I bought a Snuggie yesterday at FYE. I'm ashamed of myself. But it was 75% off and I'm a sucker for sale. $5! And it was a Kingdom Hearts Snuggie! It's a lot more comfy than I thought though...

Instead of Stupid surveys, they should take groups of us into the Horror make-up theater and have like an open forum on what we want to see lol, but doubt we'll ever get anything close to that.
Amen. That would be fantastic, but I doubt it'll happen. One can only dream, though. -sigh-

I haven't read it yet, but I'm getting to the point where I want to go beyond the book he gave me to study them. I'm definitely doing more intense research on them. Anthropology is amazing, I love it. <3

The !Kung who live in the Dobe in Nambia, Africa are truly a fascinating culture. I'm doing a project on them for Anthropology, and it's amazing how these people live.

Oh, it's not until April 10th, but I just got back from a Relay for Life meeting yesterday and was excited!
Although, I turned in $32 and I felt so proud, but when I was filling out the envelope, this guy comes up with these piles of cash and is like "Oh, they're in piles of 50" which was a little disheartening at first. But then where it's all going kicked in and I was happy.

I'd love to see a house based on the Strangers...the whole freakin scenario freaked me out...the it could happen factor...
Something like 28 Days Later would be cool also. The new Nightmare on Elm Street is coming out...
What I am tired of is the freak show, any variation. blah.
Hmm. I'm not going to lie, the Strangers is quite frightening to me. But I don't think it justifies a whole house. The room they had in Silver Screams was enough for me. Plus, when I did go through the house, they didn't really do much. Perhaps I had bad timing though. They just stood there when I went through.
A black and white house would be cool, and so would the Crazies perhaps. Depends on whether the movie's any good or not.

I'm so pumped for Relay for Life!

I'm going to be in Orlando for 5 months!!! WOOO!!! I've been accepted to the disney college program, and my parents okayed it! I'm coming down august 9!
Wow, that's exciting!
Congratulations!

Good luck, Dinah!
-
No problem! And I'm glad. Can't wait to meet you.
-
Great job on the job Hush! I'm so happy for you.
I definitely hope we can get together and exchange a word or two during the event, but if not, I understand.
-
You should definitely make a point to hit opening night. It's amazing, like Hush said, and usually isn't crowded. Some of the scareactors are still getting into their scaring boots, while others are at their best because they're fresh, so scareactor-wise it's a matter of opinion about whether there's a difference. I'd recommend going in the middle or near the end of the event in addition to opening night if you can, but if you live somewhere far it's understandable if you can't. But yeah, it's a cool feeling being one of the first to see everything we wait all year for. Hope this helps. Sorry it isn't as extensive as Hush's.

I rather like your signature, Moonfall. But I'm sure it'll look good however much you change it.

I hadn't been out to the parks in about a month because of the cold weather. My legs hurt so bad, they feel like they are going to fall off. I forgot the theme park leg syndrome!
I'm sorry, dear! I hope your legs feel better soon.
Did you at least have fun at the parks?

All Girl Scout cookies are GREAT!
Dudley Do-Right's was open yesterday when we walked through IOA to get some Potter pictures.
Awesome! Thanks so much.
How was your trip? Did you have fun?
-
I love Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies. Mmmmm, mmmmm. Which reminds me of a splendid movie.
"Is this made from real lemons?"
"Yes."
"I only like all-natural foods and beverages, organically grown, with no preservatives. Are you sure they're real lemons?"
"Yes."
"Well, I'll tell you what. I'll buy a cup if you buy a box of my delicious Girl Scout cookies. Do we have a deal?"
"Are they made from real girl scouts?"
On a side note, does anyone know if Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls is open again? I've heard people say it is, and people say it isn't, so I just want to make sure. It's my favorite ride. <3
HHN XX Speculation

I've never seen the parade, but for some reason I feel like it's going to Hollywood rather than here. Tis just a gut feeling though. It sounds really cool.
