Yes ,I did that survey. Alot of differnt prices and types of express.
I like the ideal of a cheaper price pass to be used at a certian time
usally after 11:00 p.m on a peak night. We will find out soon enough.

I was looking at jim hill media site , and there is a couple
of articles from last year about HHN 20.

HHN 20 was being planned in 2008,while MJR was still there.

So I went to UO and saw more trees and they where dead.
They were there to audition and got cut.
Really though if they are to use dead trees as props or theming, would'nt they
be quite brittle by Oct.? I could'nt see them hanging anything on them or have them
close to the guests. I guess they could work in a sound stage where they can control
the enviroment.
As for speculation, this celebrating of the 20 anniversary is not just where they have came from
but also where they are headed, so I hope for a small tribute to years past and on to the next series
of HHN , bigger...better...most importantly ...SCARIER!!!!

Well lets see, the 1st time was the cheapest,($30ish) 1 night in 03. got hooked.
every year since then has gone up...up...up.
Last year was 6 days,tickets ,express, hotel and food..etc. $2300.00. this is for
2 adults. Worth every penny though.

Maybe Universal is the tree (root of all evil) and the 20 years
of HHN is her evil branches, with every year expanding her reach
into the horror and mayhem that lures us back again and again.........

Back in 03' My wife & I decided to spend our anniversary (Oct.) by
going to Universal, I had never even heard of HHN, When we got there and seen the
advertising about some kind of halloween event we said what the hell, will check it out.
WOW!!!!! Have'nt miss a year since,already have a week at RPR reserved(Oct 1st-8TH).
I love the atmosphere, the errieness of walking around,meeting all the friends that we see only once a year, and we pick up right where we left off
Oh and Finnagans , the stay & scream...stay and drink!It is for us a one of a kind event.

My ideal of perfect temps= low 90s for the high 80s for the low.
When it drops below 70 I get chills.
Cold weather just sucks the life out of me.

A moving scarezone, could work if they did not use the tractors and floats, maybe a parade
with just scarectors and small mobile props. Some sort of a small show/performance.
And of course they would have beads /coins and some loud errie music. (3-4 times a night)
If done correctly it could actualy blend in with other scarezones, depending on the theme.

Well I think that Cindy should be the icon, shes all grown up and its time to take
her place, in the new era of HHN. Her first task will be to get rid of that damn Clown.
Then the "others" scramble to either join her or fight her in her quest to rule over them.
Of course she could have her own "friends" over for the party.
This way you can get rid of/lock away any old characters while introducing a new line
of characters for use. sorta like a evil throw down with us in the middle of it.

I hope the dates are close to what has been listed, We have always gone late in the month, but this
year we will be there Sept. 30th- Oct. 8th. Which means there could be 5 nights of HHN during my stay!
Though I was a little worried about going early, in that the event might lack in someway, after reading
about some of your takes on opening weekend I am looking forward to our stay.
Oh and Finnagans , the stay & scream...stay and drink!

in Halloween Horror Nights 20

I really don't think of halloween when looking at a octopus wrestle with a
cigar(?).
I belive that this is the 2nd year of a 3 year arc that started with
HHN19 which used movies and introduced a Usher at a creepy theater.
So speculating on that, whatever they do this year will tie into
last years and connect with HHN21, but this was MJR who said this(about the 3 year arc)
With him gone it could be a whole new deal.
Just thinking.
