  1. Where does all this mayhem happen?, I have been going for the last 6 years and have never

seen any displays of someone puking, fighting, destroying props. I do however see people

having a good time, drinking or not, laughing, screaming and running from the scareactors.

I guess it can happen, maybe I am just not looking for the drama. I will say that I have only

attended on non peak nights, if there is such a thing anymore, but I will be attending this year

over the weekend .So I might have a different opinion after this year.

Nevertheless, I hope everyone has a great time and no one gets hurled on.

  2. A few years back we tried to get express passes at the park for that nights HHN, but they were sold out.

While waiting at Finnagans a employee(guest services?) asked how we were doing and where we are from etc.

We brought up the missing out on the express passes, He asked if we were staying on site, and we was. He walked us over

to guest services and we got our express (reg. price though) He told us that hotel guests can always get express passes,

made our night much better. Now discounted express for hotel guest would be great.

  3. So when did we first begin talking about what we wanted to do for the 2009 Halloween Horror Nights?,” Michael said. “That would probably have been the Summer of 2008. With that year’s event, we were going to be finishing up a three year arc of stories that started with our Sweet 16 event, continued with Carnival of Carnage and then finished up with our Blood Mary / Urban Legends event. And given that we had Halloween Horror Night’s 20th anniversary coming up, we knew that we wanted to build to something really big.

This was from Jim Hill media site, Build to something really big, Sounds like they were planning the big 20th with HHN19 , I just can.t get

the big picture in this years event as tying into HHN19, just the one scarezone from last year is a little vauge as to what they have planned.

And keeping details and info tight says to me that this year is going to be very big. I guess we will know shortly.

  4. What about Boris Shuster, He was never confirmed dead was he? He was last known to go visit with Dr. Anga and that was it.

He could be the owner of the lantern, and decided to light it this year and release the horror that it holds. just thinking outloud....I think.

  5. ok now we have a painted red door and more props put out next to the van but correct me if i am wrong but i see a oxygen tank sittin on a dolly hand cart and bunch of those package envenlope u sent out n can treally make out the other things but it look like a sink and a car seat laying around

Thats a cutting torch outfit, could be a prop or being used for contruction. also

its looks like a buzz box(arc welder) to the right of the tanks . You can kinda make out the dial on the front.

If so , sure looks like a body shop or mechanics shop.

  6. My bf and I attended last year, purchasing the "Gory Getaway" package and staying at Royal Pacific. However, I don't recall there being restrictions on the days you could attend HHN (the package includes a ticket to HHN). I'm a bit confused as to why they are restricting attendance to the same nights as FFP. Any one know if they will allow to attend on a Saturday if you still purchase this package? (Just checking here first before I spend a 1/2hour on the phone explaining this to a CSR at USF).

    Thanks :)

I'm not sure about the sat. ticket for HHN ,but I have found it is always cheaper to book

the hotel and tickets separately. Check the website for your dates and compare to the package price.

Sometimes if you call you can get a florida rate even if you live in Ga. Be nice and demand it :P

  7. Oh yes!, I enjoy my time at HHN with a few drinks. It would'nt be the same

with out it. I don't like drunks, (who does?) they can be funny I guess. I think

most of the ones who become drunk, do so with out intention. They get caught up in the

party and BAM!! their drunk and theres not much you can do once you pass your limit.

PSA: Remember the prices, the more money you buy, the more drinks you need to bring.

  8. I have only gone thru them once, no big deal. I have been going to HHN since 03 usally non-peak

nights. I have honestly NEVER seen anything such as fighting ,line jumping, harrassing scarectors

or security getting on to anyone.I don't excatly look for it either, but from what I hear it does go on.

I guess I have been lucky to be going on nights that the trouble makers stay home.

  9. I know, just making light of it. I do agree with the

ideal of saying farewell to the past and hello to the

future HHNs, hopefully with new icons and story lines.

Like someone stated, when using exsiting movie characters the

story line is set and the actions of the house can be predictable.

Although I really think Bloody Mary was not fully used, she is

so spooky and wicked, and could be used in almost any setting.

City, country side, suburbs, even a mental hospitial(?).
