    which leads me to believe this is very true

    i dont wanna say they are Offspring of some sort

    but they are the NEW ERA of horror

    in example

    Caretaker - Sindy (daughter of the beloved Albert Caine)

    Storyteller - Bloody Mary (urban legend mixed with an ol wise tale)

    Director - the Usher (both lived and died for the art of film)

    Jack - most people would say Eddie(BUT who out in the area as newcomers to HHN really know about his backstory?)

    in my opinion i believe that the original 4 are always gonna be our LEGENDARY icons

    and as for the others the TRUTH will be revealed

    showing that they will carry on the legacy our 4 have given us in the past years

    bringing a NEW ERA of DARKNESS

    I personally love your idea...but I think your looking TOO deeply into a couple of words. I think a lot of people are. They're words people, just wait 2 or 3 weeks, we'll soon enough.

    What if...

    Shadows of the past scarezone was a clue, a clue that we would not see those characters again. A farewell tour so to speak. Giving way to the new horror to be bestowed upon us.

    I personally don't think that will happen either. As you can see in this video:

    ,the reporter acknowledges the fact that is a reunion. And JMR responded to her! So, I'd like to see that, but its most likely not.

    What I think would be cool is, what if, instead of an immersed facade of the event, there was a house you have to walk through as soon as you walk in. I know that's too much work, but i think that would be cool, to get right into the feel of HHN. Like an opening house with all the icons "waiting for you."

    I personally agree with you Black7mask! (I don't know how to quote yet...) If the icons were given a Greek past, I think that would be too much back story. Personally, I think that we are all looking into this to literally. I think this is a clue so to speak. Now I'll just use some from the carnival of carnage... "Theater," now that could have been a number of things but it turns out it was dead silence. How about "knife throwing wheel?" That turned out to be Jason's house...etc. Now I know this has nothing to do with HHN XX or that those are clues and not rooms of a house, but you know what I'm getting at. Greek mythology- fairy tales (i.e scary tales, etc.) maybe? That's just my 2 cents of it all.

    When I personally think of observation deck, I think of a high place or a building...but I also think of a house from hhn 18, Interstellar Terror, although not the best house, I enjoyed it. But many people are saying the frightanic, and I've never been in that house, but it sounds like a fan favorite!

    Hooray!My first reply on horror night nightmares!Anyways, it seems as if that, to me, that Halloween, scream (Just throwing it out there, I don't know if anyone mentioned it) or predator would be bad as a haunted house, because they are all "stalkers," and you can't really get a stalking feeling in a house... Maybe as a scarezone where the scareactors could run after you and chase you...but, I've only been a HHN since 18, so I'm kind of new.
