Horror themed, woooo! I'll love it even more!!!
Keyword "somewhat"... Though I'm sure it's trash compared to AOV
1 hour ago, Tobias said:Keyword "somewhat". It's probably not like AoV in Orlando which is Horror/Asylum themed the whole way through.
I did not see this til I posted haha "did we just become best friends?"

What were the average maze times? Does any one happen to have the park map? Are the year shirts finally out?
It's just Employee preview you can't judge wait time since you only get in if your media or work for Uni so I say it's about half a regular night
also Inside the magic has a video up on YouTube that shows all the merch this year
side note to everyone else I recommend everyone watch ITM's video of Academy of Villains 1000 times better then Jabbawokeez and it's actually horror themed and has good music.

You should know the drill, since tonight is EP night, post any reviews or pics you see, or wait times that you see. This thread will close on Sunday, if I can figure out how to do that
No worries I'll close it, sorry between work and I forget about this thread lol but I'll close it when time comes

I read from John Murdy on @horrornights that there would be a red carpet event on opening night (I assume Friday Sept. 16). Would I miss that if I did Early Entry, and anyone know anything about opening night festivities?
Regular guest are not allowed to be near the red carpet only media and celebs. Other then that opening night is just like any other night your not missing anything anyways it's just celebs promoting their stuff.
The only thing is the nightly opening but tbh it's not that important if you wanna get everything done just do early entry.

I am so anxious to see what our commercial will be like.. Hopefully it's a really cool one incorporating most, if not all the IPs.. Hopefully they don't just re-use a previous year's commercial and throw in the IP logos, that'd be disappointing lol
Well to be fair without walking dead it would make zero sense for Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, Michael, Regan, Krampus, and Lady Gaga to be getting off a plane from Georgia so I doubt we are using the same commercial
12 hours ago, Freak said:Sadly, no. I have some commitment that just happened to be on opening weekend and there is no way to be able to show up at all around the time. Plus my frequent fear is entirely blocked out the weekend after, so yeah. I'm gonna be late to the party. I also have to avoid spoilers like crazy.
I am all in favor of this idea. That hill was so pointless anyway. This may end up being the only good Terror Tram since '09!
But you're just gonna burn it anyways
11 hours ago, StraightEdge said:It would honestly be a good opportunity to put the maze's characters on the Tram like Jason, Freddy, Leatherface, Michael, Regan, etc.
Not happening unfortunately

I read an article on Inside Universal about the Terror Tram today and way way down it talked about all of the other mazes and it seemed like there were meant to be subtitles to all the mazes except American Horror Story. Krampus' was Krampus: The Christmas Devil
I doubt it, since that is a name of a indie horror movie that predates Dougherty's Krampus by a year or 3 a lot of people being sued if that was the case

God, I hope not Harry looks like a f'en homeless pedophile I would not buy any merch with him on it that's just bad marketing
-
Yeah the whole villain of the week thing is old hat not even Orlando's icon have the "revenge against" universal stick anymore but I'm giving this a shot
-
Once Terror Tram and/or the existence of Early Entry is confirmed planning thread will open
-
No matter what Saturday and Friday's are the most packed unless you go after Halloween then it's reasonable.

I could forgive Jabba-flunkies, no HP ect because of the solid maze (hell even on FVJ and Krampus alone) line up but god damn this terror tram better not be as dumb as it sounds lol jk. But seriously solid year despite the Jabba-whoties-whaties but hopefully half way through they open up HP world like they tend to do sometimes.
Also I just want to call bullshit on Jabba-mocha-chips being a high rated show when the survey people only picked teens who bought Jabba-Nut-Ragious merch. I get it Bill & Ted is cursed by the incident and won't be coming back to avoid offending people but come on don't patronize long time HHN fans by saying Jabba-Honkies is the highest rated show when you purposely only survey people who obviously like them or were not old enough to witness Bill and Ted or any other show HHN has had... I get it people like but don't push as a HHN stable. Rant over

So bizarre that two rides on the upper lot will be closed

Let's discuss
I find it wierd that they are not doing Asylum considering they had a lot of content to pull from that season but I'm glad they skipped coven. Wonder how they will tie the seasons together so it's not a mass.

Terror Tram: Flamethrowers of Terror music by freak in 3D... Freak tries to burn down the terror tram with YOU in it!

As far as general admission I think theirs have always been more expensive

Not sure how I feel about this pulsing thing.
Just sounds like the Terror Tram but on the upper lot. And if there's a long enough queue, I just may skip it, with so much stuff to do already as it is.
Why would there be a queue? It's just a SZ

Curious as to why this is in "Houses" but I guess it's better than making a "scarezones" section just for this...
Anyways, I'm actually pretty excited. At least they're finally trying something new with zones. Hopefully it's Dark Christmas quality in terms of scenery and scares.
Yeah there was no point in a making a sub section just for one SZ lol

Remember how a while back I said this could be the Twitter prize maze and we would give the password to the DHL guy well Murdy confirmed this at Scare LA and that the prize would be Krampus vintage post cards
