Visiting this was a mistake, seemed like deja vu allover again when I saw it on the soft opening. As soon as we enter the ride nothing but black screens so that wasted time when we had to circle back and re enter the ride for it to properly work. Other then that it was a hit with my group who have not seen Kong.

Not being a fan of house of horrors this maze was left last and I did not visit it while my group went in. Unfortunately I was beat from working on Saturday and did not want to go up and down more stairs in the night. I did have a chance to watch some of the chainsaw clowns do their thing and sliders in the area. My group enjoyed the maze but it was their first time to the event so they do not know the previous incarnations in the house of horrors.

Went on the 9th and this was the first maze of the night, with a group of newcomers this had set the bar for the night and was a big hit with my group. For once it was a 3d maze with out the traditional black-light and neon paint. The sets and scares were top notch and did not disappoint.

Finally found out when I am attending this great event, got my ticket for the ninth.

General admission for me.

After seeing the pictures on micechat I am definitely looking forward to HOTC, the layout looks interesting so far.

You guys should calm down, this information is a bit sad that they went that route but the event will still be entertaining and fun. Its not the movies that make the event its the scare actors and all of the energy they put into to the event so we can have a great time. Lets not judge the event until we actually experienced it.

So far plans are aiming at the second or third weak of October, I would like to go opening weak but I have other plans with the family.

I don't know about you guys and gals but I would rather have them release the tickets then information.

I am looking forward to seeing what they do with this and how they portray her costume, its a shame they cant use other areas on the backlot because this would fit perfect in the flash flood village.

Well at least we know something about the event, I am looking forward to seeing how this maze is going to differ from the 2000 version aside from the 3d aspects. So do you think the scare zones will have something in common with the characters from the film? The list of scare zone names announced earlier that referenced medical conditions could be a part of Dr. Satan's experiments.

If the Whoxille set is not used that would be great news, as it was starting to get boring and repetitive seeing the same clown infested area with the glow paint over the walls each year.

I don't exactly have a ritual but I guess you can say I have been attending HHN since 1997 and only missed two years from Orlando.
-
The names have nothing in common with the hills have eyes and the film was set in the secluded mountains. I am hoping they end up releasing some concept art work for those characters because the names leave a lot to the imagination.

My first year at HHN was the 1997 Hollywood event and 2002 Orlando event, been addicted ever since. Since my first trip to Orlando I have continued to visit HHN and have only missed the 2005 and 2006 event.

If I was giving the option I would have voted all of them but, nightmare gets my vote.
