sweeeet!do you think they are going to announce all the houses first or maybe a scare zone or two to make the announcements take longer?
I never recall that hhn announcing scarezones before the big reveal because their isn't any IP they put on the streets that is used for promotion so I believe if we're going to continue to releasing houses i believe we will do the last unconfirmed iP house left, Penn & Teller i just hope to god they have good effects but this is our hhn we're talking about so let's wait and see.
Also quick question did we get a permit for the other SS (believe its 33) or is still unconfirmed because i did hear that SS 44 was a mix up and it was 33?

Stupid question i always get confused on sprung 1 & 2 so question is which one is sprung 1 that holds Alice (the one that had inbetween or Poe last year?)

We tried to watch the movie this past weekend, and the acting was kinda bad, so we turned it off after 45 minutes. I may try again just because I'm told we didn't even get to see the "good stuff". I will say, I loved the FEEL of it - very creepy and surreal. What monsters we did see - we agreed they would be awesome in a house. Plus, I really like the music - it tops off the effect perfectly.
The movie in the story and characters aspect is not really from the source material of the games of silent hill as the director wanted a motto of "mother is god to the eyes of a child" which is the complete opposite of the story of the first silent hill if you want a more accurate representation then play the games or watch a walkthrough or a "let's play" on youtube. But at least the movie is accurate on the feel and look of silent hill.
Btw The HD collection is both for PS3 and 360 cost around 40 bucks which is ideal as each game would mean it cost 20 bucks each ( 2 & 3) so start playing

I hope we both would got the same concept because it seemed like a good leg up to experience both welcome to my nightmare and goes to hell in 3d if we had like version that puts both ideas together it would feel like having 8 houses again lol. Hope we get more info if we could get an updated or altered version as you can see the hollywood one in youtube already.

I hope they have they have the aliens and/or dog near the ending like a little easter egg for all the SH fans and who just want to see an alien in SH without "alienating" (pun intended) the normal crowd but hopefully that can compensate for fun dark humor as ill always try to find it and just laugh even when pyramid head is swinging in my direction
For the games i decided to get 1-3 as i heard the film isn't a too good example so I'll do what you guys believe in order to anticipate. The first SH game is on PSN for 6 bucks and 2-3 is out in the HD collection(I know I heard it has it shares of problems like in the technical and voice changing/music changing aspect but for people like me without a working PS1 or PS2 its the only way to go) that I think is out for both PS3 and X360

The only ones I would drop is the Victorian House(because we had so many in the recent years and it feels its always done (last year's winters night, 2010's Legendary Truth, 2009's The Wolfman,2008's Body Collectors 2:Collection of the Past) and my favorite setting are the ones of something out there that you'll never thought of like WW1 or in the Columbus Spaceship and hopefully if the rumor is true i can add SIlent Hill. And the other would be P&T as it always seem a stupid idea for a house i can't see it scaring me at all and the illusions would be interesting but in repeated walkthroughs ill be bored and i would prefer another house i just hope to god this would idea die out and die out fast.
I could see A&D make the Gargoyles very monsterious and hidden in the castle rooftops and good effects of them flying it would be an interesting house.
AC is a great music artist(love the idea of putting his music throughout the whole house) and i liked the look of his house at hollywood the only wish i would have if this becomes true is to make it our own version and no direct repeat.
Like I said before SH has a great environment and loved the story of it so if this does happen i would buy the SH HD collection and enjoy every second of it till HHN starts.
Dead Exposure is my favorite house back in one of my favorite years 08. I loved the look and the idea of the photo flashes so If they expand it to the current generation or more diverse creatures then this would be in my top 3 most anticipated already.
And Lastly the one we all know, TWD well i am a fan of the series and watch it pationality i never did ask this to be a hhn house because it's more drama than zombie attacks as the only settings that I can see they can do is the hospital,the rooftops of Atlanta,maybe the woods (because of the limited location idk if they can), The CDC,and Hershal's Barn and i don't see any space made for the prison so I would love to see it be real but im not really very anticipated like i am for SH or DE.

can somebody tell me how busy it gets the second weekend? i always went the first weekend, i wanna know if its worth it to buy the express pass or not
The later you visit the event the more crowds there will be so I believe your okay if your willing to plan out the houses and shows in the correct manor you can do it, I always visit every weekend last year and it's never a problem to do all the houses and shows all i suggest is make a plan and arrive very early. (i recommend the "Stay and Scream Option" on your ticket or if you already have an AP for the Daytime Universal Park as it will knock one house out of the list before the crowds come in and it's cheaper than express)

As an avid fan of the series, I have already picture the TWD house now, on the wall projections of the show's highlights of walkers and the survivors resisting the hordes of the undead as we walk towards broken cars and barbed wire fences of quarantine signs all around then you get closer to the house...it's the hospital side exit that rick used to escape seeing all the dead infected lined up then venture through the hospital then the rooftops of atlanta later to the CDC then to hershel's farm but sadly by the picture of how the barn and the rv is very close to past house exits i believe the house would be only highlighting the first two seasons and not a preview of the new one but hopefully im wrong and see the prison that's been amped up since last season. I presume undead little girls and the nightingales horse for a cameo so I feel the HHN craze starting to grow once again this year.

Bill and Ted shirt is now $9.99. I know the Lady Luck shirt went down too. I'm not sure if it's $14.99 or $9.99 though. The cards are now $5.99.

Either in this thread or another someone posted earlier into the event a bunch that they had "figured" out. I think they posted that WN had 21 lanterns and such. Also, I think they pointed out there were decks of cards that added up to 21 in The Thing and Nightingales.
No I know Voorhees did a fantastic work seeing all the references to 21 in all 8 houses but i mean icons or hhn characters of the past references in the houses of this year's event.

According to Opening Night in the Press Conference, There are icon references in the houses themselves i only found two and maybe hint at another. Does anyone else have the other references?

wait what do you mean by DISCOUNTS? i never saw anything and would love if i can get discounts even if its like 2 dollars. can you tell me where you found this on the app?
If you go on and click on any make right above the about and check in tabs theres a link that says "Check In To Win" and the thing is you have to get to every house or close enough to check in all 8 and then it would show you a page and a store where you can redeem a discount list.

I asked one of the H.R's and he said its "his sound effects" and he pressed it himself and it sounded goofy sound effects.
The Pilgrim had his gun on saturday and shot it once when i was near the indian and when i got close he had no gun. So i think it needs to reload or recharged every time and perhaps the same problem too in Independence.
And yes the guy with the peeps is being eaten by the peeps if you saw the costume a bit more which i did till i ran from the feaster bunny.

Well you can make your way to any Guest Services and ask to switch the paper unto a real ticket. As my friend did it and only needed an I.D. of the person that the pass says(in the CityWalk guest services next to the endangered species store) and the ticket would be use as normally any ticket of admission.

You can do The Forsaken and The In Between first since they open at 5:00pm and Nevermore: The Madness of Poe which opens at 5:45pm. Between 5:00pm and 6:00pm no express passes can be used for any of the three houses that will be open. Plus you are suppose to get reserved access to the first showing of Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure without using express. But the crew working will give you different answers depending on who you ask. Last Saturday they had most of use annual passholders with express attending the event wait in the holding area for Bill & Ted for about 45 minutes telling us that no express can be used only to have others attending the event as well getting there 20 minutes before they began to let us in using express to by pass those of use that were waiting. So take what ever each individual crew member tells you with a grain of salt.
If you were the same guy i was near/talking to then i know who you are lol but yes i deeply consider you to just use the early access to the houses and when they opened the way to the other houses use it as a head advantage and get 5 houses done before the crowd. Don't try the early access to B&T more than likely it won't help out at all and you can easily come back and get the same seats if you did wait for 45+ minutes.

I hate that last year i had a carrier that did not support the texting game of last year (even though i played it only twice) and now that i have a big carrier and they decided not to do the texting game and just give us an app that has no use for many because everyone gets a map and has the same information plus sometimes the app takes too long or closes on you. Plus no updated wait times or games except the check-in game which seems useless unless they do have better discounts than an AP which i highly doubt in a financial standpoint. And i find it hilarious that when you open the map up theres the QR code (that you can scan on your smart phone) and get an app that you have to wait to download to just say that your close to a particular house. It isn't right when they advertise this information where everyone can easily get from the front of the park. So there isn't any fun game or thing to do anymore before the houses except the only one que video this year and excluding The Thing movie trailer thats on severe repeat in Winter's Night line. What were they thinking?

No only Saws closed because the Jaws Que can be flooded(which it did Friday) but the other 7 houses were open and all the rides that isn't Rockit (if lightning appeared) so people can still be in line during the rain and they could enter.
All scarezones are empty out but the effects like the Acid Assault projection is still on. Just no scareactors roaming around.

Better than i expected as i put this one dead last because of how short it looks but the funny thing is that is in my Top 3 for scarezones(like it's much of a surprised seeing our selection this year thus far) but still too small... but the scareactors made this zone i think without these great scareactors this would easily be lower but thank god these guys are not only trying but surpassing expectations everytime in enter.

Bought one on EP to support the ideas of yearly hoodies and hoping for improvement along the years perhaps with the theme/icon/house included plus my HOS hoodie of 09 is getting worn out so it's good variation and getting ready for the cold season ahead plus i want to say i own the first hhn hoodie.

that sounds like a really weak storyline
The villian wasn't the central plot and he wasn't used very much but i believed some of the jokes hits more misses.
By the way to everyone who's going to the last two AP "event/party" don't take up on the offer of doing their "promise" of getting into B&T first, don't do it because i was waiting 40 minutes outside (while saws and steam was nearly empty) and still the park opened up as usual and got to wait less than us and had the same type of rows in the back as the express holders got dibs (which i am one and i asked if i could use it now and the horrible staffer said don't worry the AP holders go first) and the funny thing is that i sat in the same row or higher than the first time and i got in less than 10 minutes to showtime. For future references do all the houses and just go to B&T later (no matter what time it is) on when you want rest from the running and screaming.
