12 PM should be the official confirmation of any business. That's just how I feel personally. He has till 5 PM. Even if he did say early this week, he's been dicking us around for so long and it's gosh damn ridiculous that it is TIME for a flippin' confirmation. How long ago did Knott's release ALL their info? Like 2 months ago now. And we get ONE maze TODAY (if we're even that lucky). Such bullcrap.

And um, would anyone care if the characters were altered a bit? NOPE, as long as they get to see some of the biggest screen legends battle it out!

Lawsuits? Not exactly. I mean, prime example: Bill and Ted. They have a crapload of characters in their show that they don't own nor did they secure the rights to for the show.
Another great example: The Hanging. They've been doing it for YEARS. Only once were they told to get rid of anyone and that was by New Line to get rid of Freddy since Freddy vs. Jason was coming out.
They could easily pull it off.

C'mon, I want a NEW show in the Waterworld arena. I want an oversized Hanging in there. I don't see why they put the silly show in there in the first place, it kinda doesn't fit at HHN.
I'd rather Terminator be closed than be open. They really need to have a movie clip show in there and utilize the chair drop for scary scenes. Have some special guests. What about SERIAL KILLER TOURNAMENT! I'd love that, haha

Although, I do see this as a possibility this year, which is kinda disappointing but I'll still have fun with it!
Anyway, Murdy never said that he wasn't releasing the main icon & maze. He just said he was releasing the maze info on the new area, which we have speculated won't be the main maze but I am speculating that it will be. I went through the tweets and nowhere does it say "MONDAY'S ANNOUNCEMENT WILL NOT BE THE MAIN MAZE AND ICON."
Plus, a window on the lower lot maze would make sense for both Friday and Nightmare.

Baraka - I wasn't honestly suggesting Alice, I was just using it as an example. I wouldn't care to see the Alice character at HHN since I've already seen it done at Knott's. Although I'm sure they would do amazing things, I could live without it. It's just been floating around here on the forum so I thought I'd put which idea was most familiar.
Anywho, let's think about this rationally here...
Originally, the main maze was always on the lower lot. But now, Murdy has the biggest area yet. Wouldn't you want your biggest maze to be your main maze also? I'm thinking things are being changed up and now this Curious George area will be the new MAIN MAZE and ICON for the year. If it were me, that's what I would do too. I'm confident this 5th new maze location WILL be our main icon for the year. And I'm still not even 100% confident that there will be a Wolfman maze this year, although I am sure he will be at the event at least in the Terror Tram. We don't necessarily need large space for Wolfman, it can be done in small space. For example, it was originally supposed to be done in the Shrek venue anyway. That's the most cramped maze space at HHN. I have a feeling Wolfman will be occupying that space if it is indeed at HHN. Either that or WWW, which has a more outdoorsy feel to it. As for the lower lot now, I'm sure something special will still be put down there so people will make the trek all the way down those stairs.
Plus, the first maze announced is ALWAYS the main maze and icon.

Okay, a little bit of speculation before we actually KNOW anything. (weird, we won't be speculating anymore. We'll be speculating on specific mazes, zones and shows! exciting!)
Anywho;
Wolfman isn't going to be the main icon although I am sure he is a maze this year. I suspect he'll be announced last. Just a prediction.
I don't think Jason will be the main icon either. As awesome as all hell it would be for all of HHN (or just the TT, haha) to be Camp Crystal Lake, I think people would be let down considering he's been done before and since Freddy already got his due (they're not similar killers by all means but people will beg to differ). I suspect this will be announced second to last.
Our original maze wouldn't the main icon because of... I guess obvious reasons.
And whatever is going into HOH wouldn't be the main icon because that's a waste of an icon, haha.
UNLESS, the HOH and the "literary inspired" maze are the same. For example, Alice in the House of Horrors.
However, I suspect the original maze and/or the HOH maze to be announced on the last day as well along with Wolfman.
The main icon and the lower lot maze, I am sure, is the mystery maze we are unsure of at the moment. And it BETTER be a big bomb being dropped on us on Aug 2nd on whatever said mystery maze is.

Nothing beats "The Director." He fit better for Hollywood because it's an actual working movie studio way before Orlando "tried" to be one.
Not really icon wise, but I'd love to see a scarezone called "The Extras." We're the main stars but the extras want a "bite" out of the action too! Run for your lives before they take over the scene! It's time for their "close up"

If it's Monday, that would be an AWESOME birthday present for me since I've been waiting around all summer for some news.
I predict the cups will be at Carls Jr this year. Just a wild card but they seem to have an "edge" lately. Jack in the Box is too damn busy trying to sell their Grilled Sandwiches (which contain 89% of the sodium you're supposed to have in an entire DAY, I might add, making it the most unhealthy thing on their menu - yes, that includes a double ultimate bacon cheeseburger).
Plus it'd be nice to switch it up a bit. If not, go back to Del Taco.
