  1. Told you it would happen, just gotta wait for it! And like I said, they never announce it in advance because they want people to pay the biggest amount possible for those already planning on going.

Like, in a reverse example, Disneyland always randomly raises their prices without notice. Because if they announced when the prices would go in effect, everyone would rush to go on the cheaper days. But when you're already planning on going, and then it's a random price hike, you're kinda forced to give them the extra money.

  2. I'd be on the "wait to see everything" bandwagon but you just KNOW he's gonna hate Halloween anyway haha. 09 was leaps and bounds better than this year's, and I say that mostly is attributed to the fact it deviated from the movie a bit for the first half of the maze while this new version is more faithful, aside from maybe one or two parts. And zombieman only really liked 06's Terror Tram, this year is more of the same.

For his likes and dislikes, I'd say he's not missing much. That's just his cup of tea.

  3. Really weird and random question. Okay, ya know how there's always people who come through and pee their pants after being scared? What is protocol for that? Does the entire maze stop and have to wait for it to be cleaned up? Or does the person just continue through the maze? Haha and if they have to exit the maze, is there like some extra pairs of pants backstage for them or something? Or do they have to walk out of the park like that? I can't imagine USH being okay with someone walking around with urinated on pants going throughout their park, possibly leaving behind a stream.

Just randomly came to my mind after always hearing these stories. haha

  4. college nights sucked ass and, even though I don't work on Thursdays this year, I'm glad they're gone.

    Whyyyyy?

It's already gonna be week 4 and nothing so far I even called since I'm going on a Thursday and all they said was there were no plans so far. I doubt we will see it again.

They always popped out of nowhere by surprise. They don't wanna tell you in advance because they want you to buy your ticket for as much money as possible. Shame Universal is like that, but they are.

  5. There may be some HHN fatigue with how the mazes use the same old scare tactics and with the super long lines to see them not being worth it.

That's the number one complaint I hear.
From people who go every year: "The scares are repetitive and stop being scary by the second or third maze because I catch on, etc..."
From people who are new to it: "The lines are too long, so by the time I'm in the maze, I'm not in the mood for it anymore."

Then there's the higher up tickets, with FOL costing more for less mazes and not being able to repeat, and VIP being gone so there's less perks for those who want them.

All around, the event is getting less and less enjoyable, no matter what ticket there is. I think the event will be a big enough success to continue for many years, but I think there will be an inevitable downfall within the next decade if things continue on this streak.

  6. When I went for early entry on opening weekend, the regular tram was actually still open. I had friends who wanted to do it but I was like "nope, we must make line at The Walking Dead!" So I suppose it's possible. You can always call and ask. If the park closes at 6, it's possible Studio Tour's last tram could leave at like 5:15.

However, with the new early entry with almost everything open at 6-6:30, that's less likely.

Do the day/night option. You can hit all the rides/shows in the day and all the mazes at night. It'll save you lots of time when trying to hit all the mazes also, as you won't feel obligated to get the rides in too. It's a really great option, I think.
