Just saw one of the designs for an HHN tee, with the phrase "Titans of Terror". Looks cool but the damn blood writing is on it. =/

Ehhhhh…they need to design better shirts.

So predictions guys. How do you think the houses will fare? Here's my prediction:

The Exorcist or Texas will probably be the weakest house of the year.

Freddy Vs Jason or American Horror Story will probably be house of the year.

Terror Tram will be good (for once) but probably not amazing.

The Purge scare zone will probably be a very pleasant surprise.

You won't be there opening weekend, freak?!

Sadly, no. I have some commitment that just happened to be on opening weekend and there is no way to be able to show up at all around the time. Plus my frequent fear is entirely blocked out the weekend after, so yeah. I'm gonna be late to the party. :( I also have to avoid spoilers like crazy.

According to Word of God, Terror Tram will have a new route this year, instead of walking the hill, there will be a new mini maze before War of the Worlds, they're using shipping containers to create a path and should have more efficient scares

I am all in favor of this idea. That hill was so pointless anyway. This may end up being the only good Terror Tram since '09!

Eli Roth Presents Klowntasm, which may actually be the dumbest name Hollywood has ever given a horror nights attractions.

I did the search myself as that sounded so bad, that it had to be a prank.

    But dear God, it's real.

This sounds so awful, it just may be good.

I hope it's more Klownz instead of Clowns. Because Clowns may be one of the worst mazes in the history of the event, but the Klownz scarezone was pretty good.

Klowntasm... I thought we escaped this year with bad names, but I should've known better lol

Well….this is from the same event that thought This is the End would make a good maze. Clowns fells so overused and generic.

  4. So what's yours?

    TWD: Already saw it.

TCM: I feel like this will probably end up being the weakest house.

Halloween: I think this will be really good. Murdy stepped up the set level with Insidious so let's see how he pulls this off.

The Exorcist: My most anticipated as this is Murdy's ultimate dream IP to tackle. Hopefully he executes it well.

Krampus: I'm sure this will have some great creature effects.

AHS: Been a long time coming so I look forward to seeing how this is done.

FVJ: Orlando's was great so I'm sure this will be really fun.

nope you didnt spot a troll im seroius, the 2007 on the terror tram was and unedited mistake ive visited hhn year after year with tours from here (im in hull uk by the way) and unfortunatly due to speed typing i made an error at  approx 4 am uk time not hard to do a lot of the tours i do are based around events across the globe trip advisor name the-reviewer-royal and i love taking pics of the events as i will still be doing this year at hhn as for the tickets we do a bulk sale in advance of travelling some people save with us for there flights and tours purely on the fact we no california and give a more personal touch we take a block sum in advance booking out the tickets as the event goes live for sale usually discounted in fairness due to connections. now yes i still insist the lineup was better in 2007 scarezones add a lot to hhn and over the years theres been some amazing ones but are you serouisly telling me that this year is going to be the best with a singular scarezone thats been overkilled to death (its like watching terminator salvation) murdy was always into horror and i have a pic here somewhere with me with him, then we have the death of the vip pass to say this is the year for the fans would be daft without the vip/rip pass (which orlando always has by the way)

and this year there will be another show hopefully bill and ted not the jaba i saw last time i was there

now unlike you lot the people from here pay

there basic ticket price or rip option

there hotel the hollywood hotel cost   £1227 discounted deal this is a 2 week deal

there flights economy  norwegian air cost   £ approx 600 pp fluctuates

and they all watch this website and hhn im guessing as our october to november trip is based solely around halloween events (honestly in the uk halloween doesnt exisit anymore like out there to many idiots putting shit in candy ended that in the uk

when people are spending that much to travel to see an event in this case 4 events in our itinery this year included knotts, universal day and night, wehos carnival 31st (ill be the 6,4 grim reaper with a welsh accent should stand out), and the queen mary, plus a lot of smaller day tours in bettween and a few days for there own exploration.##

i should really in future spell check and edit my post but im stuck in my ways and most probably wont lol

as for the post picking up on my error thank you for pointing it out but a simple did you get your dates wrong would have surficed

this year we are using norwegian air for our customers as they offer the cheapest fastest flight using the latest boeing dreamliner version 9

our clients average spend over a 2 week period in la in 5000 dollars

we do take them from the 26-28 to vegas and they usually spend a lot more

    so no not a troll

accept the fact that without vip at least the night is not a good

accept the fact that purge does not have the cult following of any of the big 4

id prefer the best scarezones from over the years combined if its a show for the fans

if this was a choice bettween purge zones and chucky zones those little chuckys would kick the purger ass all over and yes i think the purge is a little close to turkeys situation right now where the government is exicuting people for standing up to government in a so called purge of its unwanteds (read the news). seems a little crass for universal not to see that.

and why you flame an opinion must mean your right for those that flamed nonsense

Ladies and gentlemen, the annual TwoTonTick tradition continues. My troll senses are tingling like crazy. Spelling errors everywhere, inconsistent facts, bloody awful punctuation, completely unclear points….your spelling, grammar, and punctuation is so awful, it's probably why your country left the EU. I have no idea what you're…excuse me….what "your" saying.

And for the record, I'm gonna go and have fun. I'm not gonna let some crazy Brit and his travel agency with ridiculous rates tell me this year sucks. Unless…..are you Doctor Who? Have you seen the event already?

Polishing the ol' flamethrower I see.

On a different note where is all this Halloween nonsense coming from?  I honestly don't feel that Deminsion would want there kid mixing it with the New Line boys.

It also makes sense how excited Murdy would be to have the big three PLUS Myers PLUS The Exorcist. It's his favorite line up for a reason.

  7. Oohhhh boy. Lots to catch up on. I'll put my two cents for what we've got so far...

Lights Out is not happening. It's being released well after they lock in houses to determine its success. Heck, all of the houses are being built by then. Maybe next year.

I feel like if we are getting the Conjuring, it would go in JP. Murdy usually like the "haunted house"/paranormal theme in that venue. since we already have Exorcist, I really question if he is going to do that since he's a huge variety person.

Murdy said on his Twitter that here totally changing up the way they do scare zones this year. Could that mean roaming hoardes? More elaborate scare zones?

No 3D houses this year. Murdy implied it and I don't see any property he would be using that involves 3D. That makes me very happy.

Finally as as for what Terror Tram could be, I have no freaking clue. I honestly don't care because it's not that great.

Take it for what you will, but on USHForums; insider Galindoverhere is saying that there may be a possibility of HHN having 7 to 8 houses this year. Plus the exclusion of the Shuttles of the Backlot, no RIP and Hogsmeade being open to the public.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we're gonna get eight. I think someone brought this up earlier (Might have been USHForums), but outside of the five houses, there were 187 pages if treatment leftover, excluding the TWD.

As for walking to the backlot: if more walking = more houses, I'm totally cool with that.

I was late in 2014, but can someone say how well the early access situation worked out that year? If these rumors are true, the park layout is looking to be somewhat comparable to that year.

Opening weekend, I think it was just TWD, Insidious, and TITE they allowed early access to as well ad Jabawockeez. Then they expanded to the backlot since early entry needed to be expanded. Plus, they have people a FoL to one house incentive to see Jabawockeez. Now that the park is more laid out it will work out far better.

I feel like they may do an early entry for Potter as well but that may be difficult to manage.

  9. It's sounding more like Dorris Day is FVJ. That long intro for the facade would only work if inside a sound stage. In BS and AVP, you always had to go in a small u-turn before going through the facade. That would give guests enough time to hear a fairly long intro. He could also be filming projection mapping on the facade for Freddy's house.

As for that revolving piece of scenery, yeah. That's totally FVJ. That would change a "winner" every time. Did anybody catch how many pages of treatment Murdy's wrote for this house? I've been terrible with the cheat sheet this year. If it's a lot, then yeah, FVJ seems likely for that code name.

As as for the two venues they lost, they're the SS 28 lot (already mentioned) and most likely Parisian. They need a place for guests to sit and eat during the Summer. Maybe they could use the WaterWorkd queue to hold a house? There's plenty of room there for one plus a queue and for guests to line up and leave the show during the day. I just find that odd how Murdy really loves the most restricted venue of the event.
