i was honestly just trying to see the status of my scareactor application but didn’t know any other way of getting onto my profile. So I just exited the application to get to my profile and that’s when I didn’t see my application for horror nights
Girl I did the same thing! lol I had JUST started the Maze Host application when I saw all the stuff it was saying about not submitting more than once and what not so I exited the page and it was still there on my profile under “incomplete applications”. It was there for a few days probably and I didn’t even realize it. Lol I didn’t think it would save automatically like that when you exit the page. But there’s an option there that says “Withdraw” so I withdrew the application and now only my Scareactor application is there.
I think we’re good since we never fully submitted the app! Make sure you withdraw if you haven’t yet!

You should see it there when you access your account on the Universal website. It will be under “Submitted Applications” and it should show the application status and everything. I was told by an experienced veteran that applying for another position, like Maze Host for example, takes you out of the running to be a Scareactor. So if you really want to get cast, don’t apply for anything else that might interfere because then you risk not getting a role if one becomes available.

I’m thinking the same thing! I want to apply for maze host but when starting the application it says “You may only submit one application in 30 days. If more than one application is submitted, you may no longer be considered.” My scareactor application is still there but it’s been more than 30 days since I submitted it. However, I’m still concerned because it also said “Please note that only one application will be considered for all roles available at that time.” I’m wondering if it’s talking about not submitting more than once for one specific role or if it includes our scareactor application as well. Does anyone know any info on this? Can we submit for both without it ruining our scareactor chances? Lol I’m so confused, maybe I’m overthinking it. But I don’t want to mess up my chances! I might contact talent office and double check.

Yeah I think it’s definitely random. There’s a girl I aunditoned with (she was in the same group as me) and she got her email at 2am this morning. Her height is about 4’11

Hey everyone! I'm new here
I auditioned twice this year and got the golden ticket the second time! So as far as them not letting you through because you already auditioned, is not true. I first auditioned on the 5th and didn't make it through. I was devastated honestly, but I didn't want to give up! I went home and practiced more and booked myself another appointment. I tried again on the 7th and I got it! Still no email yet but I'm 5'1 so I feel like I have a good chance since it seems like they really need short people this year. lol Also I just got back from a whole weekend at Midsummer Scream and the Horror Nights panel was amazing!!! This is gonna be a good year!

Haha no it’s not just you! We all still have a chance of being cast. I’ve heard of people getting their email the last week of August, the week after the event starts, and even 2 weeks before the event ends! Lol People are dropping out all the time, you never know when spots will open up.
