Bitch moan and bitch. If they only had 8 houses, you'd bitch that it's the 25th anniversary, and they should have more. So, they have more, and you bitch because it's not what you want. If nothing else, a 9th house may help ease some of the congestion in the lines for other houses.
I got smacked down because of my vocal hatred of TWD, and I gave up. I realize it's pointless to complain because it is what it is. This, however, THIS is awesome. It was one of the best houses they have ever done, so to put it back out there in an anniversary year is not so crazy. Plus, there are plenty of people who never got to see it, and there are those of us who loved the house so much, we are thrilled at another chance at it. I am not ashamed to admit, I actually had a few tears at the end of the season 2013 because I was sure I'd never get a chance to see this house again since Orlando doesn't usually repeat. The Halloween gods heard my cries, and life is awesome.
I'm not bitching and/or moaning bud. I'm not being hyperbolic with this like some do, saying "IM NEVR COMING BAK 2 HHN EVR! ALL THA IPZ IZ OVRUSED!" Never did I say that I wasn't still looking forward to it, and that it still won't be really cool. I wouldn't complain about 8 houses because then half are original houses (all be it reused ideas, nothing completely "original", just based on previously original ideas).
Probably cost them nothing to put it together and they can say "9th house". Smart on their end, bleh on it coming back. Let's hope they actually have some changes.
That's what I thought. All the stuff is in the warehouses anyway, I'm just saying, they didn't have to go with 9 houses, it's too much for one night for people who go just once.
...Forcing people to buy a second night if they want to do everything, making a profit for Universal, getting them more money. So yes, very smart on their end haha

Ya know what was cool about this house 2 years ago? It was an IP, sure, and I know as well as anyone that most people on here hate IPs, but this one was different. It's an awesome modern horror film with amazing special effects, and plenty of memorable scenes, so it would make sense to make it a house in 2013. And it rocked, from the sets to the puppets, everything was cool, and it was worth the best house of the year that year. I'm not mad that it's returning, I'm upset because it's pretty much a waste of a 9th house. If a 9th house NEEDED to be put in for this year, why make it an exact copy with "a few more surprises"? Like I said, it isn't cause it's an IP (I'd be just as upset if they were bringing something like Gothic back exactly the way it was), but in my opinion, they should've just kept it to 8 houses.

Let the record show that I am legit REALLY BUMMED about Hollywood getting "This Is The End 3D". I freakin' loved that movie and it would've been awesome to see what they done with it. Damn.

Well they can still use their new lagoon show for showing horror movie clips throughout the night during HHN like they did in 07, or just have a specific show like in 06. They haven't used the balls in a few years, so it would be cool to see the lagoon showing something again.

Tell me this doesn't have potential? Granted Twilight girl (AKA pants) doesn't make me thrilled. But its an excuse to bring Snow White back in her own house.

Movie houses are always entertaining. Like all of the movie houses Grimp said, those were awesome houses. But i feel that unless A&D can recreate something fresh for us with an old movie, they really can't keep revisiting these old titles. If they haven't done it yet, then by all means, do it, but when it comes to Frankenstein and Dracula, they kind of already milked it. They can't keep using the same things in different houses. Like when "The Thing: Assimilation" was a house in 07, and then a part of Silver Screams in 09. When A&D recycles places they use from the past (without giving it a feeling of nostalgia like in Hallow'd Past), people who aren't die hard fans lose interest. They've done a Psycho house at least 5 times, and, while I've personally never been through any of them, I feel like the theme of "Norman is back...FOR REVENGE...AGAIN" can only work so many times. Going back to classic movie monsters is cool and all (and so is coming up with new ways to look at those monsters like they did in 09), but I feel like if they can't evolve on the story, there isn't any reason to keep pumping out these same houses just to fill an 8th location. Honestly, I think basing houses on recently released or upcoming movies is a good idea. It's good promotion for Universal, and it gives off a special feeling when you come from seeing a movie, than live those scenes in a house (well, at least that's how i felt).

I think anything involving Jack the Clown would be too soon. In my opinion I think the concept of two Icons, (Twins) each taking over their own park. I just really want to see WWoHP incorporated in HHN. The atmosphere would be amazing.
i can't remember where, but i remember reading something that said Rowling doesnt want HHN in WWoHP. it saddens me a lot because i would also love to see that area in October. Dementor scareacters?Yes please

Personally I feel that if USF go with the duality theme it shouldn't be twins or 2 people. But it should be someone who has be possessed with dual spirits or even have dual personalities (one evil but doesn't act on it, and the other just plan out insane).
But the end of the world theme has to be great. No "black light/lit" zombies. Anything could be awesome if it's done right. And the icon hmm....how about a modern day shaman of Mayan decsent.
If you think about it, Lady Luck was basically a two-faced character, seducer and evil creature. I like your thinking though, like a literal two-faced person.

I remember reading somewhere that J.K. Rowling doesn't want HHN in the WWoHP, so if they do two parks, they would have to have sections cut off like in '04. I would love to see HHN in both parks, but unless they go with one person controlling each park, it don't think it'll work. Twins has been done before, but so has a lot of things related to horror attractions, so it would be interesting to see what Universal does with twins if they decide to take that route. I would love to see a New Orleans-style voodoo witch doctor. Maybe ha can conjure up some zombies to control Universal? (Yes, i know Howl-O-Scream did something similar, but if we're talking copying, that a whole different subject.)

When I get to the soundstages, I usually find the house with the lowest wait time and go in that. Odds are, by the time I exit that house, one of the other soundstage houses will have the lowest wait time. Repeat until you have hit every house.

I guess it's for so scareactors can look at this thread, recognize who people are, and scare them if they dont have an HNN shirt or something. Theyre obviously are going to scare the HNN members twice as bad, so why only have that extra scare be limited to HNN members with shirts? Maybe people should put the day they're going so the scareactors dont have to just guess when you'll be there

It's good business, not a "plot to make more money". Everything that a business does is for profit gain. But I'll propose a question, how much is too much? The event grows and grows as the crowds get bigger and bigger. Maybe this house will help with crowd flow, sure, but at what point will the event become impossible to enjoy without having to get an Express Pass or going multiple nights? It seems almost unnecessary to have it, but I'll still go, I'll still enjoy it, I'm just lucky enough to have experienced it before and to be possibly going for more than one night, unlike others who can go on a Thursday and still can't do everything.
