Correct! Maze Hosts get rotated amongst those positions but I'm always placed inside the maze because I'm like a bad guest auror or whatever. I catch every drunk guest, video camera flashers, face screamers, hitters, touchers, idiot boyfriend who throws gf at actors, you name it lol I was in Terror Tram Purge back in 2015 and TCM last year.

I read 'hitlers" instead of "hitters"...

I could never lie and cheat the system but I am going on a Thursday this year and my best friend said lines never exceeded 30 minutes on a Thurs. last year, so I can easily redo all my favorite mazes. I'm really not trying to hate on RIP, I think some people would love to have a private tour and would remember that forever. But that's just not up to my speed.

Totally respectable. Get there early on a thursday and follow the maze guide I gave you, it will have the shortest lines and you'll be able to do all the backlot and some of the lower lot before the event is in full swing.

  3. Having worked the event last year, I personally don't think it's worth it. That's just my opinion. We gave out a stupid amount of Gate A admission to people who didn't have FOL passes. The sheer amount of return time passes is astounding (in the high tens of thousands FYI), and a lot of those were to people who didn't have the Orange disabled guest pass. So if I'd want to go through every maze multiple times, here's what I'd do: Show up early, go the the back lot mazes first, IGNORE The Shinning. It's going to open first, but FUUUUUCK that, go straight down Route 666 and into the back lot mazes. Hit AHS first, then jigsaw (or whatever maze will be where FVJ was last year) then go to AvE. Make your way back up the route, hit Insidious, then The Shinning. Finish with going upstairs. Lie and say you had you orange RT pass stolen or lost and ask for a new one, the Maze hosts for the Route have to write hundreds of RT passes in a very short time frame, they don't get paid enough, and they don't care. Ask them for one and use that to get more RT passes to all the other mazes (trust me, it works) and badabing-badaboom, you've now shortcut all the mazes. I have both seen this work and have done it myself in the past. The buffet, drinks, and hour tour on a VIP tram just isn't worth the extra money. Also, do all this on a thursday and you are guaranteed short lines.

I definitely see our favorite good guy doll

So with this basically taking out the rumor of Titans of Terror Tram (not eliminating it entirely. But seems a bit more unlikely), does this mean we could be seeing All Nite Die In (atleast Hollywood's version of it) replace The Conjuring?

    Called it.

I'm pretty sure these are all of the scarezones we're getting

    Entrance Zone

    Tunnel Zone

    Metro Sets Gauntlet

and all of that makes sense to me atleast. No zones down French Street or Baker Street is what it's sounding like.

You think we'll be having Route 666 again instead of a tram that goes from where Shinning will be down to the back lot, like in 2015? Also, you think there'll be a gauntlet style scare zone down by where the Metro Set Purge zone was last year? Same size, or like the one upstrais that led to TWD?

While I love *mostly* original events(21, 20, 18), they will most likely not happen again unless one or two IP's are shoved in. Marketing won't let an all original event happen because, correct me if I'm wrong, but the GP is more interested in hard hitting IP's than original content and backstory.

The GP definitely does prefer a big IP over something original because the hype train is real, but I really do prefer original stuff over big name IP's. It's the reason why I like fright fest more than Horror Nights. When I go to HHN I know that the maze is called Halloween, and that the named killer is Michael Myers, so I know what to expect. I never watched the movies but if I had, then it would be even more predictable. I believe all of Fright fest's stuff is original, so when I walk in I'm not expecting any of what I see, except for when they repeat.

I'm curious, does that mean Early Entry won't be free anymore? I mean I know 4 PM is even earlier than what we normally get, but I wonder if it will still work the same as previous years. Man it's just crazy how much more expensive it gets every year. So Killer Deal nights will probably be around $90 or $100? I don't even remember how much last year was :/. Oh well, what I do for HHN.

I guarantee you that early Entry will be free. This is just a gimmick to get more people to go opening weekend. Last year we ended up moving the early entry earlier and earlier. Shinning will be first open maze, and it will lead to all the stuff in the backlot.

There's really not a "final date for employment", as long as you don't get the "You have not been casted" email you are still under consideration and can be called in at anytime to work HHN. People tend to drop out if they have a "boring role" or if they don't like pool.

This is my 2nd year,  ( if I get casted ) but if there's any veterans that think I'm wrong please correct me

What I meant for final date of employment is that by august 9th, the batch of people who are going in for the 15-17 orientation, will have gotten an email. I'm holding out for the "if you don't get an email by 8/9/17" then you straight up won't have been cast, exception being if someone leaves and they have to fill the role.

Nice; got any ideas of what Jigsaw's facade is? All I saw were a lot of pipe looking stuff, but the maze looks very wide. Roanokes facade is the same as last year's but you can see where the Roanoke house is inside and it's huge. Ash vs Evil Dead is pretty hard to tell anything of at the moment, but I assume the facade will be the cabin.

Jigasaw will probably be a lot like the WD maze, a lot of scare actors behind shit jumscaring you, by that I mean fences. Like, you'll be able to see them but they'll lash out at you in agony. I HOPE TO GOD that they don't completely fuck up Ash vs Evil Dead. Roanoke is what I'm most excited for and

SIDE NOTE: I just got my email from Universal, I'm in.

  10. I used to be super pumped for Ash Vs Evil dead, but it completely shifted towards Roanoke. The maze is going to be enormous in size and I can only speculate what they'll put in there. Roanoke was the only season of AHS to actually give me some spooks so I'm definitely looking forward to it. Would love to be cast as a pigman.

13th Gate, bar none, is the best haunted attraction I've been to. Simply OUTSTANDING. Makes HHN look like a child's haunt.

Going to be honest here and say that I've yet to be scared at HHN. I think Fright Fest does the Halloween thing WAAY better.

If I had to guess Chucky makes more sense, with it being a promotional maze for the film. Personally I think if they take the Orlando "funhouse" route this maze will be so awesome and ridiculously fun. Plus, the page count for Wateroworld's maze wouldn't make much sense with the Titans combined. Side note but after seeing the Leatherface trailer I think would've been a decent maze, but repetitive.

The main reason I can't agree with this is Maze size. Texas was the BIGGEST maze last year (at least by size). The waterworld queue is going to be used for something BIG. It has a lot of space to work with, and so I just can't imagine that massive space being used for Chucky (mainly because I'm not imaginative enough to think of a large maze concept for it). Also, due to placement, they're going to put a very popular IP there, it's the last maze guests enter before leaving at 2:00+ am.
