    Overall, I like all the concepts for the mazes and the scarezones.  Only one I'm not too excited for is Saw but I will keep an open mind.  As long as there's no 3D house, I am happy :) 

     

    If the icon does end up being grim reaper since those song lyrics make it pretty obvious unless they are steering us in the wrong direction, anyone think they will incorporate him into one of the houses?

    On a side note, I got my tickets for Sept 24 the Sunday of the second weekend that it opens, anyone have experience going around this time? I am going earlier this year in the hopes that its less crowded, I usually go in October.

    As as for that gif, it was posted to FB and Twitter. My gut reaction to seeing it removed from the other artwork is: It's not artwork. It's not a computer generated image. I'm not great with computer stuff, but certain details stand out. The water looks real. The light reflection isn't from candles, but from stationary lights. The dew drops on the flowers do not move.  You can see the back of the skull through the mouth. I think I'm going to have to speculate that we aren't looking at a computer generated image, but an actual prop. 

    Yes! I think you are 100% right.  It looked weird to me somehow but I couldn't pinpoint it after reading this I looked at it again and it def looks like an actual prop.

    Is it possible that "all our times will come" could mean that they are combining some of the icons that were never used? Cindy, Nathaniel Crow was rumored at one point and Voodoo Queen idk if she was ever supposed to be an icon but she was axed early on and maybe now is their time? Just a thought

A lot of you guys on here have been going to HHN for years and years, but for us new babies it will be nice to see some of the houses we missed out on in the past. I would speculate that HHN probably gets more guests that are new to the event than ones that have been making the pilgrimage every year for 5+ years. They need to keep it fresh. 

     

    As for AoV, I will be so excited if that comes back. I really enjoyed how they included Shadybrook in their performance and it wasn't just straight dancing like Jabbawockeez. I know there's a lot of unpopular opinion about this, but I think they're party atmosphere was a good highlight.  

    agreed! I am bummed that I missed out on the Psycho houses especially when the set was still there.  I am not overly excited about Saw but there are always houses I love, houses I liked, and houses I didn't care much for so I am open to any type of house (except TWD).

    I'm curious to see how they will incorporate "Get Out" into a house.  I suppose they could have the surgery scene and maybe the brother with that knight mask popping out at people?  Other than that I can't think of anything else, any thoughts?
