  1. I was hoping for a Maximum Overdrive house lolol
  2. more importantly did u bring the wine rack bra? lol
  3. I just don't get how they expect ppl to book flights, rent hotels, buy tickets, and spend all this cash and only give us two house announcements. We're almost 2 months away from opening night. If I weren't only a 3 hours drive away I wouldn't even bother making the arrangements to take time off of work for an event that i know little to nothing about.
  4. So anyone know when Disney will be making their next announcement? Maybe if we ask them we will get an answer other than "soon" thus telling us when UO will try and one up them lol.
  5. Yea I get that if you go with a plan you can avoid lines but since I can only go one night a year I want to be able to do everything without having to plan just take a stroll through scarezones and enter houses as I please. When I got into the park last year AHS was the first house I did and it was already a 2 hour wait when I came in through the gate, and it was at 90 minutes when we left. No way I was going to wait that, without the pass I wouldn't have been able to experience it. I am a huge fan of touring plans and guides otherwise, I use them when I go to Disney or UO during the day but for HHN express passes are a must for me.
  6. I always splurge for express passes. Right now I can only getaway for a weekend. I live in Miami but it adds up to rent hotel plus food, gas, etc.. In the future, when I get more time off and can take a week off and maybe do the rush of fear or frequent fear and can go more often then maybe I wouldn't have to. I think I'd still prefer to have them though, its nice being able to just take your time making the rounds rather than having to run to the big IP before the line becomes 3 hours long. Last year I went the Sunday right after the hurricane closed down the park (I believe it was also hell week), and it was so crowded. I still didn't have to wait for anything except like 30 min for Halloween. It's so worth it IMO. This year I am going Sept 24th which seems to be way less crowded judging by how much less our tickets and express passes were. If the wait times are low enough I can save my passes for later in the night and do everything twice
  7. Haha I had no idea it existed such a great idea! Let me know how it goes when you test it out at the park.
  8. Please excuse me while I go google and purchase a "wine rack bra"
  9. Yea marketing really does suck. Don't they want to spark interest again and announce something now that tickets are on sale?
  10. I always get the blinky cup . To me HHN is a vacation of sorts (probably my fave of the year) so I like to have a drink or two. Like with any event there are those people who don't know their limits and end up vomiting in a corner or acting like a-holes. I don't think it strictly applies to HHN though, I mean just take a walk down EPCOT's world showcase and you are sure to find a group of drunken college kids drinking (or puking) around the world.
  11. Wow that is awful. Sad how a few morons can ruin it for everyone else. I am sure we have our share of morons as well. I haven't heard of anyone hitting the scare actors though but I have heard about female actor's being groped, which is just infuriating. I heard that a few years ago though hopefully they've done something to prevent that from happening.
  12. Lmao the Jello thing is pretty hilarious. Still not sure why they just don't limit alcohol sales in Hollywood, or maybe just sell beer and wine. Orlando is pretty strict, I don't know if you can even get shots besides the Jello ones but I doubt those have much alcohol in em. Last year we ordered drinks and paid for them showed our IDs and before the drinks were made my boyfriend went to the bathroom and they would only give me my drink they wouldn't let me walk away with both of ours.
  13. Was there something that sparked Hollywood to make it a dry event? Are they normally a dry park? I imagine Orlando has probably had some issues with people who cannot handle their alcohol but they've managed to keep it under control to my knowledge. I think the 3 hour lines really sober ya up.
  14. LOL yes I was wanting to ask that too. I'm not a big drinker but it is pretty damn fun to have a few drinks and get chased by a man wielding a chain saw. Also going on the roller coaster is a pretty cool experience too. I know some people say they have issues with "drunkards" but I went on possibly the most crowded night of the year last year and I didn't see anyone belligerently drunk or anything.
  15. Yea I was showing a friend a video of the AHS maze and I didn't realize I had clicked on a walk through of the Hollywood one and it was noticeably different. How is the terror tram? I've seen some videos, it looks really cool. I'd love to be able to go to both.
  16. So since we don't have much to speculate on until the next announcement.. Is there anyone on here who also goes to the Hollywood one? I was just wondering how they compare since I have only attended Orlando.
  17. I've been thinking of something cool to surprise my boyfriend with for his birthday, while we are in Orlando in August. He would love this! I will def be booking
  18. I really hope that it is that would be amazing
  19. To me personally no I don't find it to be a big deal if they want to name it something else to promote the show, I just want it to be good. I understand your point but it doesn't really bother me, I've never seen the show so maybe that's why.
  20. I don't work in marketing nor do I know much about it but it's just not a big deal to me personally, but I can understand why fans of the show expecting a maze about the show, would be disappointed
  21. From what I understand the Ash Vs Evil Dead name is for promotional purposes... I've never seen the show so I am glad the house will be based on the movies. I honestly don't see what the big deal is its just a title IMO
  22. I wish Orlando would only do one season of AHS like Hollywood is doing tbh. I feel like each season has so much content since there is usually various story lines going on at once. Freak Show could have been a great maze on its own last year.
  23. I got that spot in GT where every scare actor popped out in my face and I'm pretty sure I had a few guns pop out at me but they seemed like those long toy wooden guns
  24. Yea I was thinking the same, at least the first few announcements should be at the same time for both so when Murdy said mid-june i've been expecting one, maybe Friday? I hope they announce the icon with this next announcement lol
