  1. If they wanted to stick with the supernatural theme maybe Annabelle would've worked instead of Ouija? The Annabelle Creation film was pretty good and well received. Unless that's on the list for next year instead?
  2. Reading the descriptions sounds like it's sinister 1&2, then Purge 1, then insidious 1&4. Shame we couldn't swap Purge for happy death day. That looks pretty cool. But given the issues with ouija I guess they were a little hamstrung. Meh will be pretty good regardless, guess the Purge will give me a breather lol
  3. New box unlocked. Looks like behind the scenes pics from the tv ad.
  4. As much as everyone hates the Purge on here (personally I can't wait to experience it for the first time), I think Ouija would have been very poor if the film is anything to go by...
  5. Guessing they don't want to steal hollywoods thunder? I'm thinking Thursday will be the day now....
  6. Bloody hope so! This feels like the only house with a bit of uncertainty over what exactly is in there. just out of interest - do Universal stream the opening scareamonies? Or will there be official videos uploaded after? I'd love to see it just can't be there in person
  7. Kind of, but the name "Hive" makes me think there might be more to it. Hive makes me think of something more like worker bees. They mindlessly get on with the task at hand, ignoring everything and everyone. It's the queen that sends signals to them to do things. So I'm imagining these vampires are going to be more feral, more animalistic and less autonomous than the type two description. Ever play "The last of us"? They had lots of different kinds of zombies to get around, including ones that were blind and relied entirely on sound. I'm thinking that might be a good fit for Hive - vampires that are more animalistic, more decayed, etc. The rumours going around were that it would be a completely different take on vampires, so trying to think a little outside the box on this one.
  8. For fighting ghosts. Just sayin' Having said that Ash is awesome!
  9. Very true, but you never hear of a group of vampires turned by one person being referred to as a hive. Which makes me think this is going to be more feral. Imagine how scary it would be to have to make your way through a room full of scareactors ignoring you until a cue, at which point they notice you and attack! If done right that would be utterly terrifying!
  10. That's what I'm thinking. Maybe something where the vampires are blind (or something) and randomly pop up but ignore you until directed by the queen to attack? Basically like walking through a life sized ants nest. If thats the case then the scare actors are going to be more feral. That would be a very unique take on the vampire trope

  12. Add 21 sept for me stay and scream. The scarezones look so good it's making me want to go more often than planned!
  13. My guess is Scarecrow, scarecrow, hive, voodoo, voodoo, and angels vs demons x2. Graffiti would be voodoo house
  14. Still no Adventurers Club. Nothing will ever be as unique and brilliant as that was ever :'( Having said that, things move on. The world changes, and we all have to change and adapt with it. That is the way of things. I'll just have to make sure I have a kungaloosh in its memory, with the full ceremonious actions too haha New content unlocked on official website. Pics from original mazes. Looks amazing!
  15. Oh right. I thought it was in Downtown Disney for some reason as part of the redevelopment of Pleasure Island
  16. Off topic I know, but Trader Sams is the replacement for the Adventurers Club right? I miss that place so much. Was never old enough to drink there but had such a great time there every time without fail. The actors there were fantastic, the level of interaction was brilliant, and just a fun night all round!
  17. I really hope that's lady death being hinted at, but I fear that ship has sailed.....
  18. 31 days until my R.I.P. Tour. But as I'm in the area before that would be rude not to check the scarezones out before then
  19. Completely agree. Looks like 1950's sci fi with the national guard called to keep the alien forces at bay. I'm gobsmacked by how great it looks. That and trick 'r' treat too. Super excited!
  20. No announcements today it seems.... We have four boxes left on the soul collectors thing, and 4 original houses. Could these be videos of each house introducing it? That could be pretty cool. Sure as hell is better than more wallpapers!
  21. Hype finally starting to build up nicely now. Not overly convinced by the festival of the deadliest theme though. My gut tells me this is plan B (or C even). Regardless the pics from the houses look great, especially loving the gothic pic (I'm convinced at least one of those light holders will move and scare the crap out of me haha). Also really excited for the scarezones which all sound good. Only criticism is why has it took so long to get to this point? Minor gripe but glad this is going to be my first year. Only 36 days to go for me now! Can't wait.
  22. Should mean this years show will be great, as they'll want to end it on a high. Looking forward to it!
  23. https://blog.universalorlando.com/whats-new/bill-and-ted-farewell-tour/
  24. That's the backlash that was forecast I'm guessing..... why not move it to the animal actors stage? Or postpone closing the fear factor theatre until after HHN? Seems a little silly if that is indeed the news. Although Legacy on IU is saying Universal are doing this right, maybe it is an announcement this is the last year of bill and ted?
  25. Well looks like the news is fear factor theatre is going, meaning no bill and ted this year..... At least that's what the latest hints flying about today are suggesting.
