  1.  I think the the potential Ip for streets could be

purge again? but only tv series.
I could feel they could go dark like La Llorona street maybe in kid zone ? I do not think wb has rights to urban legend.
I think there is going to be the ip street of select ip through the park like last two years. I don't want it.
I want Army of darkness since they own the rights to it.
     Or a thing street
I mean if they can do projections to south st.. Maybe they could put the thing or they live in both the alley way and south street.
Have a "stunt show" of the glasses.
I think they could sell " sunglasses"  24.99 for they live sunglasses.
I think they could do something along the lines of original. give the actor more freedom to perform.
I don't know the future of the streets, but if they do something where the caynon of dark souls was  with Central park and still have roaming horde? or chainsaws in simspons and fast family area( hopefully with better lighting)

  2.  They are sure pushing the limits between scare zone and full on show.
I enjoy that a lot since they removed the second show. We won't get rocky horror again, or a magic show. I mean I would enjoy any second show. You know how many times I saw Brian Brushwood?  during 2010 like 20 times. I enjoy shows because it lets me sit down and relax despite the awful seats.

I think there could be a new purge tv inspired show scare zone.
Or it would 4 original zones and 2 ip again.

This thought scares me more than the event itself. I feel like HHN needs at least 11 houses and 2 shows or we're gonna have insanse bottlenecking and scarezones are pretty much gonna be nonexistent. I'm praying this is just where they're at right now.

The buy one night get a second night free is back and now for sale on the HHN website.

Also, interestingly, Wednesday October 16th, is not a scheduled event night for HHN29.

     nav-calendar.png

First off, It's going to be bottle neck in any way regardless if there is 20 houses or 9 houses. I.e the exits for slaughter and DE 2 and Trt and seeds.
that is the problem.  Adding more houses to the already lines upon lines. I recall going through trt and waiting longer to leave then to get into the house.

the problem is people finding the favorite zone and staying in it all night. I mean there isn't anything wrong with that. Yet it's boring. If I went with a group of people and they didn't want to any of the houses and wanted me to stay with them in one street.  I would unfriend them.

Why are we shocked by the 16th  not becoming open?
You get more dates then ever, but we still going to complaint about the 3 days that won't get it.
pretty soon in 2021 It's going to be mard gras featuring hhn whole month long but select elements not in play. you get 10 houses and one street.  or saturday and sunday everything but the tickets are going to sky rocket.
I don't think anyone know how much pain most scare actors go through during the run of the event. It's a great and awesome event. very stressful and emotional side effects.

I feel like we might not even get 2 dates due to hurricane season.  lets be honest, we as central florida haven't been hit hard last years.
    Maria?? maybe

  4.  Stranger things was in SS 22 which is 8,300 sq ft  66x 127.

I think it was about 60% walls and inside maze leaving the actors just enough space to enter and exit safety.

yet carnival graveyard / scary tales  was 16,500 sq ft 110 x 150
so that both were almost same sq ft and it was half the sound stage for each. so 7,500 or 8,000 sq ft
I think poltergeist used half or more than half of it. something like  9,000?

I would be really surprised if we don't get Hill House this year. It was a huge show that got a lot of people talking about it and it can be turned into a house pretty easily.

I don't think that you understand how long it took for stranger things to get on the line up for hhn?
like they drop two seasons. like 4 years ago , so like 3 years of will they or won't they.

So it looks like Jason Blum is taking the reigns on the "Dark Universe" or whatever the hell they are calling it.... that would actually make the future Blumhouse of Horrors mazes interesting!

I got faith in Blumhouse taking the reigns of the dark universe.. they probably doing to extend their contract with universal because the second one in line for sequel is bride of Frankenstein..  yet it would mean they would be introducing Frankenstein and the bride within 50 mins or so then giving them 30 mins of conflict unless they scrapped that plan.

Thank you, I found it as you were probably typing it.  Looks like designs are Pumpkin Guts and a horror movie mix-tape.

Interesting that of all the SS shirts they had, they are selling the Pumpkin Guts.

    I'm sad they didn't have a Schittie's Kids shirt...

let's face it, it was one of my favorite rooms.. but they tried to hide it happened.

  7. Prequel -  interstellar terror.. Imagine if you saw legit creatures attacking the ship and you.
I am sucker for space theme stuff.  I doubt that they would go into space theme

Sequel - Leave it to cleaver 2000's  The town of Carey, Ohio has been through a lot of tough times. still cannibals but now even hungrier since the fall out of great depression. On the eve of the leader annual party a group of workers of mr. meetz attack.

    mix up.
Something  Like Creatures meets Seeds of extinction enough campiness  from creatures mixed with the unknown scariness of Seeds. I think if you could combine them it would be something great.

Already came and went. The update was:

They are selling HHN shirts in the MiB store.

     This is huge.

    Well that’s disappointing

it's not disappointing.. It's taking the supply and demand upon the person who wants it and the company.
it's saving the company at least 40% from buying hhn shirts on outsource market.
I wanted to get one of those shirts and now, I can.
I skipped out on all the merch from last year due to lack of funds and lack of interest.

Yes, that thought is anti-tent, but it’s not due to house quality. The tents offer very unique challenges that constrain what they can hold.

The sprung tents always start construction first. Why? Because they aren’t temperature controlled. Florida weather in the summer turns them into ovens. This creates health risks to the construction crew.

The MiB tent doesn’t stay up year round. This “nonpermanent” nature adds cost. The cost of putting it up, then bringing it down. Electrical has to be run to it every year. And it suffers from the same lack of temperature control.

They are, also, limited in the scope, size, and theming of the house due to their size, shape, and nature. There’s a reason why similar/same floor plans, layouts, and scares are used in the tent houses.

Tent houses can be beautiful, but they aren’t as cost effective and creatively available as permanent, fixed structures.

I think the real reason behind the tents starting construction early is the hurricane proof tents.
Sure Soundstages are almost weather proof but it's not 100% same with tents.
For all but 2014 and 2015 and even 2016 they put IPs in  the tents.
After, 2017 they kind of removed the IPs from the tents; maybe ip voiced concerns ( stranger things was the 1st ip in Hollywood  in soundstage legit )  I don't know people under value the tents, especially Tent 2 Dead Expose 2, etc... isn't as a/c for the actors as Slaughter sinema.

Creative has nothing to do with HHN. You're thinking Entertainment/Art and Design.

EDIT - And the new park is getting designed from the ground up with Diagon-level immersion. It's also not going to have six soundstages available. HHN will remain at the Studios.

That thought is basically anti tent.
Just because we have 6 soundstages doesn't me that we have to use them?

I agree with your statement, but Creative doesn't run the show.  Management never sets out with a goal of ruining something (it's just something they are highly adept at doing).  I say this a as manager... The goal is to maximize the profits that the event has built.  Management forced synergy with Hollywood on Orlando.  In my mind that was a cost cutting technique.  I'm just hoping they don't force Orlando to do more with less.   Just being my pessimistic self.

I think that the next gate will change HHN forever (in a good way).  HHN has become such a huge thing that they would be stupid to not architect a new park around such an event (or at least with it in mind).

I think unless they are going to built up hotels around the new park side.. I think they would rather just have it at Studios.
Despite,  allowing more people to enjoy dry parks longer than closing at 5pm.
I think it would be smart if it's they had a plan to move it over to the new park.

Lets be honest, ya acting like the tent houses are trash. why?

So, given this news, I'm hoping they don't become MNSSHP 2.0, though I think it would be insanely profitable for them to do so.

I fear it will become the best of both world, I think the scare factor and over arching themes not mention icons are long gone.
They have tasted blood and want more, you think they going to give up their extra profits?
What's going to replace stranger things if they can't redo the it again? I hope they don't put all the eggs in one baskets.

  13.   I hope they bring back 3D houses.
     3D houses are fun.
they can skip certain ultra details that nobody sees during regular run through.
I think it would smart to do a 3D house this year to break up the same old stuff or at least bring back the spin tunnel. I mean they cut out most of the booze from the tent due to complains.

Or in Hollywood case brought booze in two areas( one is vip, and others is simpsons)

Just a quick one as currently looking into flying out early October, and wondered how HHN crowds typically are over the Columbus Day weekend? Is it insanely busy, or manageable with express?

I believe it would be 35% more crowded then usual the schools might be out.
I would say manageable if you got plan of attack for the night or express or if you got the money vip tour. those tours are best way to go if you got the extra 150 an head.

Welp guess who just happened to return lol, what could this mean?

     They Live Alien?
I would be so excited and have strong desire to work or attend if they had " they live " house.

I love and enjoy that film.
If they could just do best John C. films minus Halloween.
I would have my favorite house.
They could do it in 3D. It has been 2 years since the last 3D house.
They dropped the ball of 80's theme 3D house last year.
I mean in total there was only 5  ? 3d houses could this be the return of 3d house?

  16.  Who ever said we were getting 10 houses again?
I mean last time we got 9 house we went back  for four year straight.. I mean the only thing is up.
we could used the blue man group soundstage spot again.
I just wish we could do both parks because not only is extra job which I enjoy, but it would space out the crowd for bit.
they could close soft close part of the park early so they that over nights people and security could start clearing the park.
Maybe the  Jurassic park or marvel could finish up at midnight.
they could do like the Hollywood side closing their terror tram early..
they won't tho.. cause their isn't any regular complains except internal within park services good valid complains.

I finally watch the Belko Experiment. Good show! I enjoyed it! Now if it came to HHN it would just be another PURGE house set in an office building.

.... and FREAKS as a house.... you've gotta be kidding. As GREAT as that film is.... todays culture isnt gonna let that happen.....

Except the whole if they don't murder someone they die.
kind of removing the free will of the choice.
    More a story of survival.
In HHN 23 the over arching theme was Cabins in woods. Just saying.. nobody complained about having two cabins in the wood house.

  18. Could the  possibly of us getting a hereditary  house? I would die.
If they could do cult of beast baby mix with Hereditary.. I would be okay with it.

    I personality like comedy houses.
I just am tired of universal resting upon the easy topics.
I am shocked they haven't pulled out Jack static figure to put in a house.
Would you think they could try to make a scary event with an icon?

I forgot that they don't need an overarching Icon because they don't sell enough merch.
I just think they are messing out on cool marketing.
They rather have the ip's be the main focus point of marketing.  I get it. It gets enough butts in seats.
