If anybody finds out more mythology examples than Amut, can you please share? I'm not the smartest or the most up to date so I like to do my homework prior to going through a house inspired by events, myths, etc. For example, I researched a lot prior to Hades and I also read up on the Wendigo and theories of Roanoke prior to going into that house. I just don't want to feel like the general public and go "I don't get it."

I'm in the minority here, but I'll explain why I'm anticipating A Chance in Hell. Based on the little bit I've read, there will be a barker. I love the entertainment value. The barkers are great with improv and often shut down obnoxious drunks. I loved the caterpillar in the Alice scarezone. I loved watching the Chucky's Insult Emporium (Hollywood) videos on the internet.

I don't have any answers, but I wanted to piggyback off of one of the above questions. Regarding a tripod, would security give you an issue if you brought in a Joby Gorillapod? I wish I had a picture to post, but you can find it on Google. The thing is maybe between eight to ten inches tall and is flexible and bendable.

Cool, glad to hear about Freddy and Jason. By the way, do you know how many actors are on each cast? I tried to get photos of everybody and I know I'm still missing a few from this zone.

I would post this question in each scare zone topic, but it would be to repetitive. Does anybody know the number of actors on each cast for the streets? I know that there are different characters for each cast and I want to try to get pictures of everybody.

You know how ops will stand in a corner and tell you to keep moving. Twice last night I had an RIP tour let in front of me before I entered the house and those same two houses ops never said a thing to me. I've heard that money talks, but I guess it silences also.

Whatever you do, don't try to check the leader board when you get back to your hotel. It accused me of cheating because its after hours. It took all my points and accolades. Not impressed. I'll find a better use of my time.

Is there a generic lanyard as well as the Jack lanyard? I've noticed there's usually two styles and you typically get the one with less sex appeal when you go on the UTH tour. I don't see them giving away Jack lanyards on the tour, so I was just curious about the other style. Either that, or they'll stop giving away lanyards on the tour.

Does anybody know the start times for Cast A and Cast B on the 1am closings and the 2am closings? Also, isn't it 45 minutes on and 45 minutes off? I would like to experience each cast. Plus, it also helps avoid entering a house right during a cast change.

The tour guides for UTH are SUPER knowledgeable and able to answer nearly all questions.

I don't necessarily have an order of houses. Since my eyes don't adjust in the houses while it's light out, I'll just walk around the scarezones until it gets dark. Also, I should be able to get some decent pictures without having to set my camera's ISO to 1 million. I figured I would just chill for a bit since I'm going to use an Express pass for the houses.

Ya, not for entry, but for the second situation you answered. I would think it would work too, but I would love to know if anybody has successfully tried it before we go ahead and buy them. Thanks for responding!
I know from years ago that the express won't register if that person didn't enter HHN. BUT, if that person wasn't there, you could enter the Stay and Scream on one side of Finnegans by scanning your pass, say you have to go to the bathroom, then enter on the other side of the alley by scanning the other person's HHN ticket. Viola. Now both people are in the parks and you have two express passes.

I think the price of the Unmasking the Horror Tour went up. Anyone know how much it was last year for the combo (both tours) package per person? We just booked ours and it was roughly $127 each. We also didn't get the day we wanted because apparently Saturday October 3rd is only for corporate events. That kinda threw a monkey wrench into our plans. I'd like to also point out that on the website, it says the combo package is $109.99. However, when we went to make the purchase, they said it was more because of the day we chose. I didn't catch the "starting at" $109.99. As mentioned above, visiting sure isn't cheap.
Last years combo was $100 before tax (so $107 after tax).

The Vault was my favorite but this site is by far the closest any have come to it... I've looked at a few of the others and posters are fewer and less interesting...
I prefer it here because the people I have met in person are nice. I know I can't judge other forums by a few individuals, but one year (don't remember which) I was waiting to be let in to the Bill and Ted show and I was wearing my HNN shirt. Two guys next to me told me the website sucked so I asked them if they belong to (I'll redact the name) and they said it was a lot better than HNN. Personally, I view us all as fans and want to avoid some pissing contest about which site is better.
