Already been said that Carey would not be visited this year. As for a "Body Shop" Sounds plausible, and the things being found in the lantern, Did we not go thru the same with the mirror in 08? people seeing things that were mere coincidence, nothing more. Truth be known the lantern has a "Nightmare Before Christmas" look to it. I am sure if a picture was released prior to the website and a hint to Nightmare Before Christmas there would be things seen in it related to NBC. Just saying.
People have sworn they have seen stuff hidden since 05 and I herd A&D thinks its funny cause they never hide anything in the teaser. However this yr they could of for all we know.
As I said I've only find Caretaker pocket watch and Storyteller glasses. The pocket watch says 8:40 which represents a sad face, compare to 11:10 which is always a happy face.
I have a pair of the storyteller glasses from 15 and it the blood splatter on it looks the same as it does in the image.

The more I think about it I dont think where going to visit Cary, Ohio this yr. However it could come back in the future.. it is one of those unfinished storylines.
So now maybe that its a body shop, I dont forsee maybe PS coming back in that location.
Also I've only found 2 icons in the lantern, I'll look some more but maybe as they update the site more will be shown.

Hey guys, I see the lantern dissection image is going around a lot! I wanted to update and let you guys know that I edited the post about the dissection breakdown and I’ve added some arrows pointing out specific areas of the creatures I found within the lantern to help everyone see what I see. I’ve also included comparison photos to help visualize. Hope that helps! I'm still trying to find the other icons within wavy lines that Dr. Raymond Holmes was talking about. Here's the update.
I think your looking a little to much into it. I'm only focus on the main icons.. Jack, Caretaker, Director, Storyteller, and Julian.

I really think Destination: Theme Parks maybe found one and that was Jack. Beyond that I really I dont think anything is hidden in the green and the 4 main icons symbols are in the black wavy lines.

Yea it must and over the weeks and maybe the course of the event we will find out what it means. I hope its a real prop cause it would look amazing in real life.

Remember in 08 we had Bloody Mary musical box infront of us the whole time and we didnt think it meant anything.

I've follow the HHN websites since 04 and yes from 04-09 there was nothing in the teasers. However never say never when it comes to HHN.

I don't think it's the Van alone. It's the hints of "Holiday" that is giving the people that idea as well, just there opinion. Right or wrong.
I'm not saying there wrong by any needs its just a prop. So if we saw a Pick Up truck instead people would scream Creatures. Once again its just a prop, nothing more then just that. Yes it could be for PS but then again it might not.

I just talked to a friend that was cast in Jaws and the role name has no connection with Screamhouse, in any way, shape, or form.

Why would anyone think that that particular painting is of cindy when in every bit of concept art, the corpse in the coffin in resurrection and the actual final character that was in shadows last year has always had black hair. Its not like when you walked in the house there was a plaque on the painting saying Cindy Caine

Has anybody confirm from UO that is Cindy in the painting? I dont think so. There was a lot of pictures of little girls in the '06 version of Screamhouse...
I'm not double speaking per say, I'm looking at the past for clues that could lead us to the future.

Most of your speculation has revolved around the past, Except the laughingly funny Lovecraft stuff. Just Saying.
You can remember the past as you move on towards the future.. Basically remember to honor the past, but not repeat it

Granted Cindy isnt in the public eye but that could change this yr. We do have a tab that says "Characters" on it and it could very explain to the first timers plus average fans who Cindy is.

I know we are talking about the past and how we should look towards the future. But,what if its both?What if after she escaped into the gRaveyard,she couldnt have stayed there the whole time did she? She would probably have gone to a SMALL town where not much would hear of the atricities of what her family did.Such as Carey,Ohio.There while in hiding,she somehow finds Pandoras box. Not completly sure how she would of found it but surely icons from the past have something to do with it.She opens it,revealing the next era of HHN icons,locked away for centuries,waiting to be released.And finally she takes her revenge along with the next era of icons.
What does everyone think?
Maybe I was wrong about that theory like I've been wrong in the past about things.
As I said all along lets worry about the future and not hype on the past.

For that to hold true there would be much more "Burnt" wood that what was seen in any of the pictures, it was nothing more than a few of the 2x4's.
A wise man would look beyond the past, and into the future.
A few pieces that could be seen through a doorway, who's to say how much more lays beyond that doorway throughout the rest of the house.
Why are we so obsessed with the past? Lets obsessed about the future cause it is full of darkness.
That's going to be really weird to see Screamhouse leave the soundstage after three incarnations to a location like Jaws. Not to mention that would really be way too similar to the original Screamhouse to begin with; the original had you going inside the charred remains of the funeral home (at least, it would've appeared that way by looking at the facade).
It might not be Screamhouse per say.. maybe one or two scenes.. we escape the same way she did but to be honest really dont know what happen after she escape.. that story is untold.

So I was bored tonight as my gf was playing Xbox 360 and read all the backstories to most of the icons.
One thing stood out at me...
An angry Mob of family members, outraged at what had potentially became of their loved ones, took matters into their own hands destroying the funeral parlor. They set the place on fire, which engulfed the home and the Bearer family in flames.
Cindy escaped into the graveyard, her face a trail of burning flesh.
Now its been confirm there is burnt wood in the JAWS extended que... What if they maybe continue Cindy story from the moment the angry mob burnt down her family home? Im not saying Screamhouse will come back by any needs.. this is just a thought.

Maybe some Greek stuff is housed in a certain museum and someone (or Something) on accident (or on purpose) release the evil that lurks in Cary, Ohio.

It's really funny that you wrote this as I was going to write something very similar. I wrote the following in this thread on May 5:
"As I said on the other site's forum before it went down, I can really see the Skoolhouse being very central to this year's event. It was a key part of the storyline in 2008 and all of Dr. Agana's patients were connected to it through family ties. I think our icons are tied to this very important location as well although I'm not entirely sure how. I think the Skoolhouse will return as it has been one of the most revered scarezones of all time (well at least since my first HHN in 2002) and I really did miss seeing it in its full glory last year. I love the "tree" theories that have been rooted into the many ideas of what this year's event has in store for us. I can easily see a large tree across from Mel's (hopefully accompanied by the Skoolhouse) that plays a major role in the overall story of HHN past. Carey, Ohio will most definitely return since its true inception into the main storyline in 2008 and the many references that A&D has made towards the mystical town in Nowhere, USA."
In addition to this post, it makes perfect sense for us to visit the root of all evil that arose from Carey, Ohio since it has been such a focus of the event over the past few years (maybe even since the early days of HHN). Besides the places already mentioned by Charles, we might be visiting and/or re-visiting places in Carey. Also, remember that Elm Street is in Springwood, Ohio and the Crazies was based in a small town in Iowa (close enough, right?). Besides, the Disaster queue house seems to be a model of a suburban house/town as others have mentioned. We might be literally taken through Carey, Ohio at this year's event.
Based on some reliable information posted on here, we have heard that it is not going to be as much of a reunion year as we originally thought. But, I still like the idea I posted a few weeks ago about Albert Caine looking for a soul for Cindy. Maybe he has returned to Ohio (from Georgia, right?) to look for a proper soul for his daughter. dante asked a question that I never answered. Based on the Shadows from the Past scarezone, Albert and Cindy were roaming the ground, while Jack and Julian were searching the crowd from above. It is possible that, while not being a rehash year, such icons will help Albert Caine search Carey for the perfect soul for Cindy's resurrection. An example . . . the Storyteller could search through her books on Greek Mythology, the Director could search Elm Street (while not mentioning Freddy by name, of course), Julian could search his theater and the rest of the town, etc. And who knows, a carnival may be in town (as in Midway of the Bizarre in Amity) and we know who would search that area. I'm just trying to put some ideas together with what I really would like to see and that is just called speculation, right?

Maybe your right and this yr the whole event takes place in Cary, Ohio instead one or two houses.

So I have a theory about this yr and of course take this with a grain of salt...
So in 2008 we were introduce to Bloody Mary but also LT and Cary, Ohio.. At the time we didnt know what was so special about Cary, Ohio.. All we knew it was home to BM, BM abandon office, and LT home office. Well then in 2009 we learn more about Cary, Ohio from JMR. He said it was there Castle Rock but he really didnt go into much details beyond that.. So moving towards the event we saw that Pump Station #19, UPT, and Meetz Meats where all in Cary, Ohio.
Now lets fastfoward to HHN 20...
What if this yr we explore more of Cary, Ohio and we get to the root of the horror. We can do that thru LT of course.

I think the lantern is just what the site says it is: it will get brighter and slowly reveal more details about this year's event. As soon as this year's event is fully uncovered, we'll get a new homepage with the icon(s), if we have any, and we'll never see the lantern again. I don't think we'll have puzzles and back stories for each house, instead it will be a collection of the past for the site. But I do think we will have all new houses except for one 'best of' house, Silver Screams style.
I sorta agree with you and can maybe save the interactive for LT this yr.

There was talk to have figures made in 07 but they ran out of money, so they didnt go into production.
