I  know there is a 0.000000001% chance of this even possibly mattering a tiny bit....but after the whole Scream Fiasco seeing something about this on TV made my heart jump just a bit.

I saw this the other day and had a moment too. I didn't even know this was a thing, and I think it's really interesting that they're not pulling synergy at the event and doing something specifically for this incarnation (well, I say that, we don't really know).

  2. Yeah, temperature and Krampus costumes could be a big factor, outside of aesthetic reasons. I was once assistant to a Cowardly Lion in a production of Wizard of Oz and we definitely had a few near misses/close shaves/etc. with the heat (Alabama is not a great place to be a cowardly lion, much less Florida for a Krampus!). That being said, could they do a shorter shift system perhaps? I remember seeing somewhere that the puppet operators for La Llorona in Hollywood had fifteen minutes on and off because of the weight and effort needed to control those things. I don't know the labor laws in Florida or if that would clash at all with them, but it  is an idea.

  3. If anyone cares for some spoilers, Mike Aiello basically walks you through a couple of the Exorcist rooms in the latest episode of the ScareZone podcast. As someone who didn't make it through this film in one sitting, it sounds terrifying. They are definitely going with an abstract approach. I think A&D is gonna knock it out of the park with this one.

Its on the main website but SUPER hard to catch and take a picture of. In that rotating selection of announcements on the homepage, the Chance one towards the end will flash/flicker this image in place of the Chance that is there.

Yep! I do wish they'd let people get a better look at the asylum costume, but it definitely seems like they're going with the more colorful side on all the marketing that's out there at the moment.
