If you're talking about the picture of the lantern on the FB Wall, it was not put up by LT but by someone else. I think most (if not all) of those so called hidden pictures are just overanalyzation gone wild and wishful thinking.
As for Mary, as much as I'd like for her to come back I don't think that just because we have LT we're going to get her back too. They're separate entities and LT can exist fine without Mary, who was pretty much a closed case at the end of '08.

I would like to make something clear to the thread. While I am flattered by the fact that people have guessed me to be a profile for one of the Directors of Legendary Truth, I'm just a CRO or CFO or... which one is the acronym for you guys? ... It's CFO, right? CFO.

On a side note, has anyone noticed the fact that LT just put up a picture from another website? Seems that a few people dissected the lantern and good goddamn they picked up a bunch of stuff we never noticed. Including Mary herself.
It does seem rather weird to have a year without Mary and yet have LT, doesn't it? I mean, the two of them seem intertwined. Like two forces dancing together in the night, one leads and the other follows. (OOG: Has it crossed anyone's minds that the reason Bobby Weir hasn't said anything about Mary is because Universal doesn't want anyone to know she either said yes to letting them use her again, or that she has no control over that version of Mary?)

We don't know yet. Sometime in the future they'll be giving it out. Probably after solving a puzzle of some sort.

This may be completely naive but has anyone considered creating a Facebook account for Mr. Fell. I doubt any reaction from Ms. Himmel would be incited, but it's always worth a try...
It's a very bad idea. Like others have said, it could throw the game off. Don't even use a variable for his name. Just leave him be for a bit.

Agreed. We're playing a waiting game here with LT. Don't tire yourself out chasing white rabbits or red herrings or mixing metaphors like I'm doing.
Also, don't trust Nellie Lovett. Anyone with a Mr. B Natural avatar is obviously working for Satan. :V

Personally, I'm going to be internet-only by choice when it comes to LT. At least for this first time. HHN is about having fun for me, the way I choose. I'm not going to compromise that for the other people I'm going with by running around, looking for clues. I'm just going to enjoy the houses and scarezones.
I am, however, going to help you all in any way I can. Trust me.

I, personally, would suggest that until evidence makes it clear otherwise, the connection between the HHN website and LegendaryTruth goes as far as the lantern. Remember, Shadow Creek was found out from the latern. Keep your minds boxed in for just a bit, until it's clear that Universal wants us to start looking there.
On a side note, does anyone think that the former CEO was the one who vacated? Himmel didn't want to speak about him. Does anyone think there's a possibility LT's been infiltrated by God knows what? Just putting it out here.

Is the Main Network Access (MNA) password and actual word or is it, a bunch of numbers? When do we usually find out, do we find out at all?
They'll give you the password when they have something for you to see. Even if you did have the password, what you'd probably see would be a 404. But, yes, there will a password. And I bet it will be coming soon, once the game REALLY kicks off and we have some more idea on what the hell's going on.

Well, I just saw a brief description of "At the Mountains of Madness" on G4, where they did mention the relation Grecian mythos. I don't know, I don't read stories about C'thlulu, and I'm certainly not on H.P. Lovecrafts balls. Frankly, I've got better things to do with my time then to read the complete back story of anthropomorphic squid. Also, when you feel the need to use an ellipsis, just use a comma.
Sorry to go off on a tangent, but you're both wrong. Horus is right in that it's unlikely that they'd mix Cthulu and Greek myth in the same house. However, Greek myth does have a place in Lovecraftian fiction. Hypnos, the personification of sleep, has actually shown up in some of the work that makes up said universe.
Also try not to be an ass Turbotax. Knowledge of literature isn't "being on an author's balls". Although the point about ellipses stands, you have a good point there. :3c
Anyhow, I doubt that they'd take from the storyline to Doom, although it is a possibility. I'm actually thinking more mutants or aliens. Shadow Creek, Shady Creek... I don't know. It gives off a Hangar 18 feel to me. Unless they're going to say that the demons from Hell ARE mutants. That... would be pretty silly, though.

So my dad is a BIG H.P. Lovecraft fan... Hes read the books, watch movies on the man, and many other stuff.
He think they might take a lot of Lovecraft works and re work it into the event.
I still think in Hollywood will feature past characters and they will usher you into the new darkness that awaits us.

My my my, plenty of wishes and dreams and not too much on the true speculation side, tsk tsk tsk.
Just some things to keep in mind, JMR, while a major player when it came (notice I just said came, past tense) to HHN was not the be all end all of HHN. It is a true team effort back there with everyone lending ideas and fleshing out storylines and designs. And now JMR is no longer a part of that team. In the time since his departure a lot of what was on the roster for HHN XX has changed. Various elements have been partially or completely altered while many others have been done away with and replaced by others. The event as he knew it before leaving is not the event as it is now and even if he were to come on here and post anything it would only be speculation, or anecdotes about what was a part of the event when he was a part of it. Yes his resume says he worked on the development of HHN XX, and that is a totally valid and honest statement. It just so happens that the development he did changed drastically after his departure.
As with all things in life, change is an inevitability and a new era of fear is rapidly approaching so forget about that reunion because there's a lot of new and interesting things on the horizon. Thats not to say you wont see something familiar here and there, but to be honest, who wants to see the same characters and houses over and over again every year?
And yes, for at least this year, let go of the desire for movie based houses, while they can come in handy from time to time, HHN is kind of above that. There is so much they can do and such terrifying images they can unleash when they allow their creativity to run free and not be limited by some pre-existing character they had to borrow and try to make their own without straying too far from that original character's storyline.
Amazing and fascinating things are coming out way kids, so stop obsessing with the past and get ready for a future of new and horrifying things you aren't expecting.
And no, Robosaurus will not be back

It makes sense that they would try to incorporate greek mythology into this years event. Especially with the release of "Clash of the Titans" not to mention the two hot game releases this year being "God of War 3" and "Dantes Inferno".

I agree the B&T has not been as good as it could have, but one thing to think about, the target audience is 18 to 25 maybe 30. so some of us maybe are outgrowing the show. it's like the last Weird Al album I bought I think they parodied a song off of it one year, I didn't know the songs that were being parodied so I didn't understand the album.
I still go to the B&T shows i get a laugh or too. the best year for me was 13 had Bush and the terrorists.
i think I said this in another post but I can do without RHPST if it means something more ether in the streets or an extra house.
You aren't outgrowing crap. The difference between this year and some of the years before is that B&T is now taking from the school of comedy that the guys who made Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Dance Flick, etc. do. Basically, no real joke, just "HEY GUYS REMEMBER THIS? ISN'T THAT FUNNY, THIS ONCE EXISTED!"
It's not the fact that you're outgrowing it. You can't outgrow something good. It's that the show is lacking in quality. :3

But, goddamnit, Bloody Mary was so awesome, I just COULDN'T stay out.
