[HHN XX Website Updates]

Just wondering, has this "generic website" ever been put up before? Or do you think it was just made to cover up a few more days for the real update?

Also, I hope I am not getting TOO far into a generic site, but it says "a new era of darkness begins", could this mean that they are creating new themes for this year? Just wondering.

You know, I was looking at the old HHN19 website. I went back into the theater with the 3D junk, and realized that it was actually a really nice site in 09'. Here is what concerns me. If this is a reunion year (IF, you never know, well we do...but) I am wondering how they are going to incorporate the houses in advertisements on the new site. I mean, the past two years had such original content, minus the remake houses, which were in a very small amount surprisingly. I am not saying that I am dissapointed about the fact that we may have redo houses (and I realize that just because they are repeats does NOT mean that they lack originality from the previous houses), but I am concerned as to how they can top 08' and 09'. I personally have missed A LOT of classic houses, and cant wait to see them, but do you think that they will introduce Icons in "new houses" or simply have a remake of an old one. OR, is it possible that we may not see an icon house for each icon, and rather, have a house that incorporates all icons (this could be the museum house).

Dr. Jimmy, Michael did say "It's all in the audio." to a guest when they asked why Bloody Mary, Director, and the Storyteller weren't there, right. I think I remember him saying that somewhere along the lines when someone asked why they weren't there. So if you look at it in an abstract way, the scenic and actors were there in the SZ, but the audio was the main clue to HHNXX.

Well, I was just thinking about the audio recording at that scarezone. I find it funny how Mary, Elsa and Paulo were the ones not present at the event, but in audio. Is it possible that Universal KNOWS they are using these three next year (despite the problems with BM, not touching that) and had the remaining icons, jack, cindy, albert and jullian on scene to promote them, THEN see which ones the General Audience most approves of? I was wondering this because honestly, what is a reunion year without Mary Elsa and Paulo? They seem to be some of the crowd favorites, even though there are not THAT many icons.

Okay well, with this new information, we can pull back prior knowledge and experience. Although I am not completely in term with the mythological aspect of that one house, I do know this. HHN 18 through 20 were planned around the same time, and possibly had a connection with eachother, as I have mentioned many a time on other sites. Also, I am pretty sure that we are all familiar with Legendary Truth, and the study of urban legends and folk tale. Well, this can kind of branch off of that. Urban legends to mythology. I have a feeling, since it being a reunion year, that this idea of Mythology is attempting to describe "history repeating itself", as in a reunion year, and more in depth. This is just my opinion, but it seems to fit in the big picture. Shadows of the Past (or shadows from the past?) emphasizes more about, well, HHN history. Maybe the whole idea of this one house is to go even further back and describe the connections of Our HHN icons, and stories. Legendary truth, which as mentioned above, can give the really dedicated fans the information we crave about these icons, and at the same time, the GP is really interested in this kind of historical thing. Sorry if this was a long read, or a waste of time, but I am just trying to get a general picture to everyone.

I like the idea, I just said I hope that they are not linked in a really, well DUMB, Way. Hopefully Uni will be smart.

i dont think thats really spoiled anything, just because we know its a reunion year...doesn't mean we have any clue as to how its going to play out. we know who the characters are yes, but we do not know how they are all going to work together, meaning story wise. im sure they will all be fantastic, but the story that brings them all together somehow if thats what happens, will be very interesting.

This is true, it will be very interesting. i am just hoping that the integrity of the icons is not sundered by the attempt to bring them all together. I want them to keep their identity. Nothing stupid like, Oh the Caretaker is Elsa's brother, who birthed Julian. Stuff like that would anger me. What they did in 16 I thought was good. They didn't bring them all together. They didn't even look at eachother in the commercials. I think it should be like, a gathering to see who can scare/kill the most people.

Okay, so even if the tree rumor is pushing it, I have to say, no matter what, a tree can be familiarized WITH the event. If it is a reunion (WHICH, by the way we are not 100%, Uni may be throwing some junk out to keep us occupied and THEN surprise us) I believe that a Family Tree would be in order. And I believe this was mentioned before. I mean think about it, the XX in the HHN XX were scratches... like memories that SCAR you? And the trees could mimic a family tree, and they were dead, giving a chilling and terrifying semblance to an otherwise regular organism. Shadows from the Past (scrapbooks anyone? jk), dead family trees, scarring memories, it all seems to fit if it is possible. I know this is just ramble, but I hope people will agree with me!
